hey guys i know its been a year since i updated and im really sorry but hpfully over this summer i can finally update more regularly. i hope people still want to read this! i know it's a short part but i will try and do another update later today or as soon as possible!!
Part 6
The college was organising a class trip to Simla for anyone who wanted to go. Maithili immediately signed up and tried to convince Mukti to as well. "Come on Di, it'll be fun!"
"Maithilli I've got so much work to do, i don't have time," Mukti sighed.
"Oh please, forget your work for a few days and just try to have fun, it'll be a really good trip!" Maithilli exclaimed.
Mukti relented and agreed, "Ok but I'll take some work with me." Maithilli just rolled her eyes and they smiled at each other excited about the trip.
Adi and Prem were also discussing whether or not to go.
"It'll be amazing Prem! Loads of different girls," Adi grinned.
"Do you ever think about anything other than girls?" Prem shook his head in amusement. "And what about Priya?"
"Like I'm bothered what she thinks! And anyway bro, what's happened to you, you used to flirt all the time."
"Uh nothing, don't try and change the subject," muttered Prem. Adi groaned with frustration.
"So are we going or not?" They approached the board where you were supposed to put your names. Prem immediately noticed two names and nudged Adi. "Hey you still wanna go?" he smiled pointing at Maithilli's name. Adi frowned when he saw her name and then shrugged.
"Yeah, I'm not going to let her stop me from going. And who knows i might have even more fun with her there," he added smiling evilly thinking he could carry out his revenge.
At home Om wasn't pleased that his daughter's were going to be away from home for a few days. "I don't think it's a good idea that you're going," he told them.
Maithilli immediately began complaining. "Please Papa, we'll behave, I promise!"
"Listen, beta, it's not that we don't trust the two of you, we just worry about you," Parvati explained.
"Mama we completely understand," replied Mukti. "Don't worry I'll look after Maithilli."
Om sighed but Parvati managed to reassure him and he eventually agreed as long as they promised to phone each day!
Over at the Basu house Prerna fussed over her sons telling them what to pack etc. "Mum please, we're old enough to know what we're doing!" moaned Adi. "Listen, with that attitude, I can still stop you from going!" Prerna warned jokingly. Adi looked at her and realised she was joking then chuckled. "Ok mum, you can pack for me." Prerna smiled and patted his cheek. "Nice try beta, you can pack yourself, I'm just telling you what to pack!" At the doorway Anurag rolled his eyes knowing Prerna loved fussing over her kids while Prem chuckled.
