PART FOUR (first half)

angad ran into dadi's house... te main room was decorated already... he lookeda round and it was just what kripa liked... he smiled and walked to dadi's room... he was just outside her room adn was about to go in.. he heard dadi talk...

" dont worry bachha... i know him better than anyone else... he'll come..." she said...

then he heard a very muffled and shaky voice... " no dadi... he'll not come... they both wont come... i hate them!" angad instantly knew it was kripa... but why was she crying? and who were 'they'?

" kripa.. betaa... comeone stop crying now... go and feshen up.. its almost time for everyone to come... get ready fast..." dadi said...

" dadi.. plss stay here for a second... i dont know if i'll get to sit like this with you or not..." she said slowly... she added " dadi... do you think i'll do teh right thing doing what i am gonna do?"

" yes bachha...it is teh right thing to do... but the path you're chosing to do it, is wrong..." she said...

" but thats the only way to---" she was interrupted when teh door opened and angad entered...

" ohh sorry... did i disturb you guys?" angad asked...

kripa quickly wiped her tears... she was sitting on teh floor wih her head on dadi's lap... and dadi was caressing her hair... kripa stood up... " no its okk.. now that you are here... i can leave... angad plss try to cheer kripa up... she is really upset they are not coming to her party..."

saying that dadi left... angad adn kripa stood there infront of eachother... millions of questions in angad's mind... he walked towards her... cupped her face and wiped her tears that continued flowing through her eyes... " whats the matter kripa?"

" nothing..." she said shakily... angad moved his hands adn tugged the hair behind her ears...

" who are 'they'?" he asked...

" prithvi... and josh..." she said slowly... her hands her linked together in between their bodies... which were just an inch away from eachoher...

" oh...OH!" he said... and he pulled her into his arms... kripa buried her face into his chest adn cried... not just because josh adn prithvi weren'yt coming.. but ebcause he dint know when cuold she hug his like this again... when could she cry her eyes out in front of him again... heck when could he give her his shoulder to cry again... perhaps forever... but not after what shes gonna do later today or maybe tomorrow...

why was she crying liek this... prithvi and josh had missed soo many birthdays of her... then why was she crying now...adn what she said to dadi... what was she goign to do... she rubbed her back lightly soothing her... as she continued to cry...

after soetime kripa pulled away...and angad, unwillingly, let go of her... but stilll held her a lil away form him... " i think i should go change now..." kripa whispered and turned to leave but angad caught her hand and turned her towards him...

" i dont know what is bothering you soo much kripa... i know its not them... tehre is somethign you're hiding from mee... i wont try to find out what it is... cuz i want you to tell mee... rememebr i am always tehre... and remmeebr our promise..." angad said...

" its easy to promise but its hard to keep it... and in your case promises dont matter angad...do they?" she said that adn left angad feeling guilty... he stood there and watched as she walked out of the door and disappeared... he closed his eyes and her words rung unto his ears...

"...in your case promises dont matter angad...do they?"

angad talked to dadi about whatever s going on and now he felt a lot better... soon it was the time for teh party... everyone(it was not sucha grand party... there were few failies and all kripa and angad's friedns) had arived and now they were waiting for the birthday girl to come... angad impatiently paced as he wanted to se kripa as soon as possible... soon kripa came downstairs wearing the lehenga.. that rani wore in 'shava shava' in k3g

angad just stared at her as she came downstairs smiling.. adn blushing a lil and every eyes was on her... every said happybirthday adn gave their presents... kripa was busy but she was stealing glances form angad... while angad was doing eth same.. looking at her... he wasnted to open his arms soo that she could run into them... kiss her untill they both were breathless... and maybe untill she lost herself to him... and whiper to her that he loved her and only her... simone was just an attraction... as soon as thsi thought came to his mind... he asked himself... is it true? e was confused... as manan had said... as dadi had said... he was confused as heck... he knew his love for kripa could never end... as she said... it was lost.. as dadi said.. it was lost.. adn he would do anythign to find his love back... find his kripa back...

his kripa...

that sounded soo complete... soo good... and soothing to him... she was 'his' kripa whom he had lost a frew weeks back... whom he wanted to find now... he blushed at teh thought... yes he had finally realized kripa was hi love.. she was.. is and aways will bee.. simone was just another girl.. a time pass for eth two years.. but he was cheating on kripa with simone... he ruefully looked at kripa... she as siling and talking to some of her friends...

everyoen was talkign adn enjoying when someone tapped on kripa's back... she turned around.. " HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" kripa jumped and threw her arms around th person... okkie what if prithvi adnjosh weren't here... alliyah was here!!!! they both hugged eachother...

" i am soo glad you're here!!" kripa said excitedly as they drew away...

" comeone kripss.. i am your best friend.. okk girl best friend.. how could i miss it huh?" alliyah said...

kripa smiled broadly adn put her hands out..." my gift?"

" hmm your gift... look there..." alliyah pointed towards ethcenter of teh room... two black figures werestanding there... slowly teh spot light got to he.. adn kripa dropped her mouth... PRITHVI ADN JOSH!!!! kripa jumped with happiness... THEY MADE IT!!

" it took me three hours to finish all their works... the n pack their clothes and make them on time to eth flight!" alliyah whuispered... kripa gigled...
