Robbie nods his head and kisses her cheek before running out of the house after Jaspreet and Lakshya, he jumps into the car, Lakshya doesn't look pleased but Jaspreet tells him to let Robbie come.
Part 36
Ganga finishes the washing up and is about to start cooking when she hears the doorbell, she goes and opens it and is shocked to see Lakshya with Jaspreet, she doesn't recognise Robbie but lets him in anyways
G - what are you doing here? and Lakshya where have you been?
Jaspreet turns to Lakshya
J - you said mom knew you were coming to my house!
G - he was at yours?
J - yeah he came a few days back and said you were ok with him staying
G - he told me he was at a friends house
L - just chill ok, it doesn't matter
Ganga shakes her head then hugs both of them
J - this is Robbie, my friend
G - hello
R - hi aunty
L - where's dad?
G - upstairs
L - you going to come?
Jaspreet shakes her head and follows Ganga inside, Robbie looks from the living room to the stairs and without hesitation he heads up the stairs, sees Lakshya going into a room and stands outside and begins to listen
L - hey dad, guess who's downstairs?
Sa - who?
L - Jaspreet
Sa - are you serious?
L - yeah, I managed to convince her to come here
S - this is the first time she's ever been here, how long have you been staying there?
L - 3 days dad.....3 days and I managed to bring her home to visit....give me a few more days and she'll be here for good
Robbie stiffens and clenches his fists but continues to listen
Sa - what were Sujal and Kashish like after seeing you?
L - they acted so friendly, and they agreed because Jaspreet asked them to
Sa - what an act, Jaspreet doesn't know what they're really like, I can't wait to see the look on their faces when Jaspreet leaves them, I'm proud of you son
Robbie decides he's had enough and goes downstairs where Jaspreet is in the kitchen helping Ganga cook
R - we need to talk
J - not right now
R - its important
J - Robbie please, a few minutes
R - but.....
J - Robbie!
Robbie groans and sits down inside the living room, after a few minutes Lakshya comes downstairs and sits in the living room with Robbie, Robbie glances at him and turns his attention to the TV, Lakshya walks over to sit next to Robbie to get a good look at the TV, Robbie looks at him and leans closer
R - why isn't your dad coming to see Jaspreet?
L - Jaspreet and him aren't on good terms
R - I wonder why
Robbie rolls his eyes, soon enough Ganga and Jaspreet come with the food, they sit at the table
R - isn't Lakshya's dad going to join us?
J - if he is then I'm leaving, I came here for mom and Lakshya, no one else
L - damn it! why do you hate him so much?
J - why don't you ask him that?
L - he's your dad, I can't believe you hate him just because of Sujal uncle
J - I hate him because....
Jaspreet glances at Ganga who shakes her head, Jaspreet stops speaking and eats her food
L - I mean come on, they're not your real parents, its so obvious they love Kiran and Karan more than you, which is why they give them more freedom, you had to ask more than once to come here and Kiran and Karan just announce they're going
Robbie is about to speak when Jaspreet places a hand on his arm, Robbie scowls and continues to eat, Jaspreet glances at Ganga
G - enough Lakshya, eat your food
Lakshya hesitates but continues to eat, after eating Jaspreet, Robbie and Lakshya get up to go
G - are you sure Sujal and Kashish are ok with him staying there?
J - sure they are
L - that's what they said.....aunty doesn't even bother saying hello to me, why can't you see these things? They're just using you, both of them, Sujal and Kashish Garewal don't love you
Robbie pushes Lakshya against a wall and points his finger at Lakshya's face
R - don't make the mistake of saying anything about them again, because thats my family, and I won't tolerate any more of your ****. If you say a word against Sujal uncle, Kashish aunty, Kiran or Karan again.....I swear, I won't give the slightest damn if you're Jaspreet's, brother, I will kill you
Robbie lets go of Lakshya and storms out of the house, Lakshya looks at Jaspreet
J - you deserved it, Robbie has known my family for years so he's very protective over them and what you've been saying about them all night, has truly annoyed him so next time think before you speak in front of him, now lets go
Jaspreet walks to the car, Lakshya follows, Jaspreet sees Robbie walking off
J - Robbie!!
Jaspreet calls out to him but Robbie continues to walk off. She frowns and gets in the car with Lakshya. Robbie goes to his house and lies on his bed, he sees his mobile ringing and see's Jaspreet's name flashing but he doesn't answer, instead he cuts off the phone and calls Sujal
S - Robbie what happened?
R - that son of a ***** Lakshya has only come into the house to take Jaspreet away, his father sent him, and if he hurts Jaspreet, I'll kill him
S - what? Robbie are you serious?
Robbie narrates what he heard
S - like father like son
R - I mean it uncle, I can tolerate anything but if anyone dares to look at Jaspreet in a bad way, I won't take it
S - Robbie, if I ask you something, answer truthfully
R - go ahead uncle
S - do you love Jaspreet?
Robbie hesitates and closes his eyes and takes a deep breath
R - yeah I do....I'm sorry uncle....I never knew when it happened, it just did, I'll understand if you don't want me near her anymore
S - are you crazy? that's not up to me anyways.....have you told her?
R - not yet, I will..after I sort out Lakshya
S - be careful Robbie....she loves him a lot
R - I know.....don't tell I called you, I have to go, goodnight
S - yeah sure
Robbie hangs up and closes his eyes and falls asleep. Meanwhile in the Garewal house Kashish is in her room with Kiran and Karan and all three seem to be laughing about something, Jaspreet sees and becomes curious
J - what you guys laughing about?
Ki - nothing much Di....I'm going to sleep, goodnight mom
Ka - yeah me too.....goodnight
Kiran and Karan leave after giving Jaspreet a goodnight hug, Jaspreet sits by Kashish
J - well?
K - it was nothing sweetie....you should get some rest to
Jaspreet nods her head and goes, by her room Lakshya stands against the wall
L - already treating you like an outsider
He pats Jaspreet's shoulder then goes off, Jaspreet frowns and goes into her room to sleep but throughout the night she's unable to.
