Sujal looked at Kashish as she sat on the sofa with tears in her eyes
S - Kashish please understand, I don't want kids
K - but why? what's wrong with having kids?
S - I just don't want any, not yet
K - who knows with you, today you say you love me and tommorow you might not
S - Kashish!! it's useless speaking to you!
Sujal stormed out of the room and headed to the main door, he opened it when something on the doorstep caught his eye, he looked closely
S - is that....a baby?
Kashish came behind him
K - Sujal wait!
She looked at him staring at the doorstep and looked down, she noticed the baby and gasped
K - oh my god
Kashish picked the sleeping baby girl up
S - Kashish what are you doing? She doesn't belong here
K - come on Sujal! look there's a note, read it
Sujal picked up the note as Kashish took the baby inside, he picked the basket up and closed the door. They sat next to each other on the sofa, Kashish was holding the baby and Sujal began reading the note
S - "First of all, I am sorry to leave my 6 months old daughter with you like this. I have seen you and your wife and I know you will take care of her and she will be loved by you. I cannot take care of her right now because of some problems, I may or may not be back to get her, please take care of her. Thank You. P.S her name is Jaspreet"
Sujal stood up and took his mobile out, he then grabbed the phone directory
K - Sujal what are you doing?
S - phoning Social Services
K - but you can't
S - why not?
K - because the mother left Jaspreet with us, not Social Services
S - Kashish we can't keep her

S - that's Social Services
Sujal got up as Kashish frowned, Sujal opened the door and a man and woman followed him inside
M - ok so we need to ask you some questions
W - where did you find the baby?
S - she was on our doorstep
W - ok, do you know her?
S - apart from what's written in the letter no
