K - ok then lets go
S - where?
K - shopping! Babies need a lot of things, now lets go
Kashish pulled Sujal up then put Jaspreet in her basket and headed for the door.
S - wait....is she.....coming with us?
K (hits Sujal) - she's a baby, she's only 6 months! we can't leave her alone
S - oh...ok lets go then
Part 2
Sujal parked the car in the car park and opened Kashish's door, she got out and opened the back door and picked the basket with Jaspreet in. Sujal locked the car and walked inside the shopping complex with Kashish.
K - gosh, ok the first thing to buy is a pushchair, no matter how cute and adorable Jaspreet is I am going to get tired holding the basket
S - ok so lets go
Sujal walked into a clothes shop and Kashish grabbed his hand
K - are you stupid Sujal? We aren't shopping for you but the baby, so lets go to a baby shop
S - oh yea....lets go
Sujal followed Kashish outside and into another shop. Kashish made him hold the basket while she looked at some pushchairs. Sujal sat down with the basket lying next to him, he looked inside and Jaspreet smiled at him
S - what are you smiling at? Do i look funny to you?
Jaspreet laughed at him
S - why are you laughing? I haven't said anything funny then why.....oh my god i'm talking to a baby
Sujal relaxed as he saw Kashish calling him over, he picked up the basket and walked over to her
S - yes?
K - i can't decide between the blue one or the black one
S - does it matter?
K - yes it does here give her to me
Kashish picked up Jaspreet and made her face the pushchairs
K - which one shall we get? the blue one? the black one?
S - i think...
K - i wasn't talking to you
S - oh
After a while they decided to get the blue one, Sujal picked it up and took it to the till, he watched at the cashier swiped it revealing Rs 4000. Sujal almost choked
S - are you serious? Rs 4000?
Cashier - yes sir, do you still want it?
K - of course we do
S - but Kashish...its...
K - shhhh excuse me can you not pack it, we need to use it right now
Cashier - ok maam
Kashish sat Jaspreet in the pushchair and smiled, she pushed it outside and waited for Sujal
K - what is wrong with you?
S - what's wrong with me? what's wrong with you! Rs 4000 on a pushchair....who knows we might not even have her for long and you're already spoiling her
K - you're so harsh. bura ban na koi tumse sikhe
Sujal watched Kashish walk ahead, Sujal knew she was angry, Kashish never spoke in hindi unless she was mad. Sujal ran after her and apolgised
K - it's ok, follow me
Sujal followed her into a clothes shop, Kashish went to the baby section
K - what's her size?
S - how do i know?
K - i have to do everything myself
Kashish undid Jaspreet's jacket and looked at the label, it said 6-12 months
K - very good, Sujal you stay here with her, I'll pick some nice clothes
S - ok
Kashish stood there with her hand out
S - what?
K - wallet!
S - oh
Sujal handed her the wallet and sat down next to the pushchair. Jaspreet was playing with feet and one of her shoes came off, Sujal picked it upand put it back on her but Jaspreet made it fall off again. Sujal picked it up and put it and again but she took it off again. Sujal picked it up and looked at her
S - stop it or you won't have any shoes after this
??? - Sujal!
Sujal looked up hearing his name and saw his old time friend Kavya (Eijaz Khan)
S - Kavya hey how are you buddy!
Ka - im good dude, you?
S - im fine
Ka - oh my god, she's so cute, just like you
S - huh...n..

Ka - great, aww Jaspreet you are so cute
Kavya kissed her and handed her back to Sujal, who fumbled a bit while holdig her but managed not to drop her
Ka - see you soon buddy and congratulations on being a father
S - no Kavya...she's......
Kavya walked off, Jaspreet giggled at Sujal, he put her in the pushchair
S - yes you would laugh won't you? that's all you do, where's Kashish?
K - here i am
Sujal turned around to see Kashish holding around 10 bags
S - did you go to buy blothes or the whole shop!
K - oh shut up, and hold these
Kashish shoved the bags into his hands and shoved his wallet in his pocket
S - where's the receipt?
K - with me
S - show me
K - why?
S - i said show me
K - fine
Kashish took out the receipt and showed it to Sujal, his face changed colour as he saw Rs 10000
S - have you gone mad! that much? on a baby? oh my god, did you max out my credit cards?
K - no i have not gone mad, she needs clothes and I only maxed out one
Sujal grunted and left the shop, Kashish followed him with the pushchair. Next stop nappies and baby food. Sujal stared at the line of nappies, which one was he supposed to get? and what size?
S - excuse me
Sujal resorted to asking help from someone who worked there
Worker - yes sir?
S - i erm i'm looking for some nappies
W - what size?
S - i don't know
W - how old.....
A voice of an old lady came behind Sujal
Lady - young man you go, I'll help him
W - ok
The worker walked off and Sujal faced the lady, he recognised her as his neighbour Mrs Shah
S - Mrs Shah right?
M.S - very good, so looking for nappies?
S - yes
M.S - but you are not married so who for?
S - voh a friend
M.S - Its not my business anyhow, how old is the baby?
S - maybe 6 months
M.S - boy or girl?
S - girl
M.S - ok
Mrs Shah looked around until she found some, she handed them to him
S - thanks so much
M.S - its ok son
Sujal hurried to Kashish
S - i've got them, have you got the food?
K - which one will she like?
S - Kashish......just buy one of each we'll feed them her and we'll buy more of which one she likes
K - good idea
Kashsih handed Sujal's cardover to the cashier who handed them their receipt totalling the shopping up to almost Rs 20000. Sujal shook his head and looked at Jaspreet
S (thinks) - how can a small baby cost so much?
Sujal shook off the thought and headed outside, he piled everything into the car and put the baby seat in the back. Kashish placed a sleeping Jaspreet inside and sat next to her, Sujal got in and drove home.
S - is Jaspreet sleeping?
K - yes..oh my god!
S - what?
K - you said her name!!!! i knew you would begin to like her, that's why i left her with you as much as possible
Sujal just stayed silent, soon they arrived home, Kashish put the pushchair in the store room while Sujal put the food away. Kashish then got the clothes and took them upstairs, she looked at their room, it was a bit messy, she would tidy it up tommorow then begin making some space for Jaspreet
