If they were not her parents or for that matter if it was not for our kind of society and culture, she could have taken her parents to court for harassment.

The whole things feels so effing a toxic trap. Not only does the bricks of the house built on blood, the people in there ( her parents) have spit so much venom all these years so much that it's become a poison paradise .

Grover doesn't have too great a stance here financially . Once Tapan gets bk here and they do a register marriage , that monga guy is also going to disappear .Me thinks Tapan actually needn't be spending too big a time accumulating extra money to take on the might of groverss. They just need to get the monga guy to back off and disappear .

The parents are being blind and stupid. Shubhra needs to leave home and now. She needs to live on her own with no financial backing from them.

Manik showed up reluctantly. He sat down across from her

“What you did was bad puttar” he mumbled

“I had to” she said quietly

Pawan paced the room impatiently

“Socho Pawan ko kitna bura laga hoga?”

“I feel nothing for the man Dad, don’t guilt trip me”

“Just a little bit of freedom look how she is talking” Tara egged Manik on

“Shhh” Manik gestured to her

“I cannot marry him I am astonished why he is not behaving like an adult and coming to terms with it”

“If you run away what am I to assume?”

“I TEXTED you” she looked for her phone

“Umm.. thats no way to break up”

“I am tired of all this, I have to go to work tomorrow I have to sleep off my jet lag”

“Kal roka hai” Tara reminded

“No mother I am not going to be there”

“We made a commitment” Pawan reminded

Tara flinched

“I am so tired of this Dad, please I didnt want Pawan in my life. I was going through heart break I agreed to Ma’s actions... I ran off and saw him when I realized Pawan’s insane...” she whispered

“I agreed to marry YOU” Pawan insulted her

“Tell her” Tara jumped on the bandwagon

“Don’t know why Pawan... nobody has given me a second glance in life, did my mother send you HER picture accidentally?” Shubhra found some sarcasm she didnt know she had

“He keeps chanting how gorgeous you are mother”

“You know what you are crazy” Pawan hissed audibly

“I am, I know that, it took me agreeingt o marry you to realize how much I love Tapan”

“BTW I KNOW everything about him” Pawan mocked her

Indicating he knew Tapan was the guy that took down Shubhra and her Dad

“Good” she mumbled

“You can take some time” Pawan was genuinely deflated

“I will and I want to reconnect with the people I love. I want to live my life.... I can move out” she said quietly

“Ma loves you” Manik explained quietly

“No she doesnt, she loves herself... she loves her beautiful self” “Parul loves me” “tapan is in love with me” she nodded feeling a release she hadnt felt in her 20 years of self awareness

Pawan sat down finally

“Do they know you were engaged to me?” Pawan demanded, switching tactics now and choosing to blackmail her instead

“they all do. They have no idea how shamefully you have behaved though” she said calmly looking into his eyes

He shifted uncomfortably

“Intimidations threats?”

“I did nothing” Pawan stood up hastily

“I don’t know who did what... I am sorry I should not have gone away like that but I dont want to get married to Pawan” she said choking on her words

Tara who had stepped out briefly returned with a different expression

She walked over to Shubhra and knelt before her and held her hands and cooed

“We love you beta, there is nothing more imprtant than your happiness”

Shubhra’s eyes sparkled and she nodded unsure

“We can never accept this man” Tara said firmly

Shubhra felt her mother’s grip tighten

She quickly pulled away aghast

“Pawan please leave us alone” she begged

“I will see you tomorrow?”

“No... probably not” Shubhra shook her head

Manik and him exchanged a meaningful look

“I don’t know why my own Dad agrees with you more than with me... mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai this is totally freaky”

“I can explain” Tara stood up

“No, no... its OK” Shubhra yawned and rubbed her eyes

“Can we please call everything off I am sorry for agreeing to marry you you are too gorgeous for me I cannot marry you”

“STOP IT Shubhra I have seen Tapan’s pictures” Tara was even more furious now.

How could someone so genuinely good looking actually be attracted to her daughter? It has to be a scam?

Shubhra blushed

“And I didnt even have to pay him” (pay Tapan to fall in love with me or pretend to like me) Shubhra’s eyes filled with tears

Proud of Shubhra for speaking up again and again. They keep trying to steamroll her. They can't accept a middle class guy but they are OK if their daughter is unhappy her whole life?

Did pawan promised to pay him for all his losses but what he will gain in all this???

This is becoming so confusing now. There is definitely some different story behind this. Because both her parents are behaving irrationally. They don't like tapan it can be understood but why they are forcing her to marry pawan???

And the next big issue is that if pawan knows that tapan was behind all that chaos then why couldn't manik found about it yet..

There's not one single sane person in the room. Everyone waits for an opportunity to hit the other person below the belt. Lines keep getting crossed all the time. The dad is wagering with the daughter in a deal. The mom is nonsensical to say the least. The daughter is insinuating her mom of photo shopping , not only that she's saying that her mom is being lusted upon by her recent 'temp' now ex guy, what's worse ... this against her mom In front of her Dad. And you know what!.... the dad's the worst weasel of a kind listening to her daughter trash her mom! He's pathetic!!

Absolutely no boundaries in place.

That said, shubhra is holding strong .We know what's at stake for Grovers here with bail out cash and prestige . But What's in it for Monga me thinks? He has got the house in sight with him with him earlier having mentioned that he can foresee him with shubh and their kids . Then he may can go for her company.... but I'm not sure if she has broken even there? These two things apart, what's the carrot for Monga?

Right now neither the house nor her office doesn't add up for Monga to be taking this kind of trouble for the interest he is showing to marry her. If Monga wants he can have them both without having to marry shubhra . It's something much bigger and it's got to be downright dirty a ploy to get what he wants

Uff so see shubhra to fight back. Definitely there is something going between Manik and Pawan which is why they are insisting that this relationship continues. It so sad that shubhra.jas said no multiple times and multiple ways but the family does not understand. What is it going to take for the parents and Pawan to finally understand that she is not interested and the marriage is off
