hey guys my xamz r cumming up from da 8th till da 15th so i wont b able 2 continue frequently till thn...plz do 4giv me nd leave loads of comments so i mite write updates in between if i hav da time.... here is an update hope u lyk it.....]
Kripa turned around when she heard the door to her room open and was not at all surprised to find Josh standing in the door way looking at Kripa with an understanding smile. He came forward and sat down at the edge of her bed.
Josh: so that was Angad. I have to admit he has quiet a magnetic personality. I can understand why you fell for him.
Kripa: that was all in the past. I have moved on with my life she said averting her eyes from Josh when she admitted this lie.
Josh: look at me Kripa (he cupped his hands around her cheeks) do you think you can lie to me? I can see it in your eyes you are as much in love with him today as you were 2 years ago.
Kripa: what can I do? She asked in despair. It's not like I can fall out of love with him. I thought I had moved on but I guess I'm weaker than I thought. I should have never come back here. I'm going back to Toronto as soon as I can.
Josh wiped away the tears that were spilling down her cheeks and hugged her. Both of them were startled when the door opened and AAliya came running inside carrying an armload of things with her, while Angad followed her, his arm bulging with various packages. Both of them stopped in their tracks when they witnessed this intimate incident, Angad was furious to see Kripa in the arms of another man whereas AAliya was simply astounded to find that Josh and Kripa were more than just friends. She looked at Josh then kripa then josh again Josh noted the change in Angad's expression and decided to make him jealous. He kissed Kripa's forehead and bid everyone a cheerful goodnight.
Kripa: Hey AAliya!! What are you doing here?
AAliya: I came here for a chat. She dumped the pile of things in her hands onto the bead and looked at Anagad and said you can leave that over there she said gesturing to the pile of bags in his hands towards the ground.
Angad: (smirking) yes ma'am! Anything else?
AAliya: no nothing for now. Consider yourself dismissed. Oh and do close the door on your way out. Angad complies to her demands and with one look in Kripa's direction, he leaves the room. As soon as Angad left, AAliya pounced on Kripa..
AAliya: so Kripa!! Did you really think that you were going to get away with it?
Kripa: get away with what??
AAliya: don't act all innocent…now tell me what is up with you and Josh? I know you said that he is your friend but you cannot hide anything from me. So tell me are you guys dating?
Kripa: what? Me and Josh? We are really good friends. He helped me a lot when I went to Toronto. He always lent me his shoulders to cry on. I am forever grateful to him. When I left, I had a lot of painful memories in my heart but thanks to him, I can make a fresh start. He has been a pillar of strength throughout.
But why are you so interested in him? (With a cheeky smile) do tell me if you like him. I can totally hook you guys up.
AAliya: (blushing) its nothing like that. I just wanted to know what he was like. He seems like a nice guy.
Kripa: Yea he is. He's smart, caring, warm, and friendly; in fact he is the perfect man for you.
AAliya: I know…What I mean…arghh…Kripa stop confusing me. Kripa merely grinned and they talked about random things whereas her mind was ticking away planning to hook Josh and AAliya up.
Both the girls talked the night away and went to sleep at the crack of dawn. They were both woken up by Josh near midday. He crept into the room and emptied a pitcher of cold water on both their heads. They woke up with a jerk and chased him throughout the huse. Kripa smiled when she saw them together and suddenly an idea hit her.
Kripa: Josh! AAliya! Why don't we go to the movies today?
Josh: yea sure. Which movie do you have in mind?
Kripa: let's go see Final destination 3. I heard that its good.
AAliya: but that's a horror movie.
Kripa: yea but I want to see it. Come on lets go. The 3 of them got dressed and departed home, making their way to the cinema. When they reached there, Kripa saw Angad standing in line for a ticket with the same girl he had bought with him to the party. He hadn't introduced them but she was sure she was his latest gf. Aaliya spotted her brother and before Kripa could stop her shouted out to him.
Aaliya: Bhai! What are you doing here?
Angad: I'm here to play hockey!! I came here for the same reason you did, to watch a movie with Victoria. We were just about to go and see Final destination 3. What about you guys? What are you going to watch?
Aaliya: we are here to see it too. Could you get 3 tickets for us too? Angad purchased the required tickets and they all made their way inside the dark theatre.
Kripa wanted to make sure that Aaliya sat next to Josh so she arranged it like this that they were sitting like this Josh, Aaliya, Victoria, Angad. She moved to sit on the other seat next to Josh when someone else sat on it. Sighing, Kripa grudgingly sat in the seat next to Angad. Angad flashed his charming smile and gave her a knowing look. As soon as the movie started, Kripa grew apprehensive. She had chosen the movie so that Josh and Aaliya could grow close to each other but she had not been aware that Angad would somehow wind up sitting next to her.
She avoided looking at him and concentrated on the movie. As soon as the rollercoaster scene began, she grabbed Angad's hand, unaware of what she was doing. Angad smirked. He was aware of Kripa's habit for he had been to the movies with her plenty of times. After sometime Kripa glanced in Aaliya and Josh's direction. What she saw brought a smile of joy to her face. Aaliya and Josh were engrossed in each other; they were staring at each other rather than the screen. She looked down and noticed that she was holding Angad's arm. She let go of him and moved to the end of her seat. Angad just smiled at her and went back to watching the movie. Kripa grabbed the hand of the person sitting on her right. At first the guy was angry but one look at kripa's face and he was lost. He had never seen anyone that pure or innocent; unconsciously he lifted his hand and covered her hand with his own. Kripa realized that she was gripping a strangers hand and she withdrew it apologizing profoundly. The guy simply nodded his head. Angad had witnessed this whole event and was both amused and furious, amused at the hilarity of the incident and furious over the fact that Kripa had held someone elses hand.
Kripa: I'm so sorry!
Guy: don't be I'm not!
Kripa (thinking) what a weirdo!!
Guy:(thinking) i'm in love
