I am so so sorry to hear that. Are u totally unhurt?
Is the damage to the car serious?

Yes, how many calls will u make to insurance, seriously...

Neither she nor me were hurt Nisha. Yeah the cars have to get the repairs done. My fender over wheel passenger side and her driver rear side has taken a decent hit and scrape . I checked with the lady if she was allright first . She seemed fine and said so. Details were exchanged . I should have been more watchful Nisha... . Don't know what I was thinking to not see her coming right. Anyways reported it to our insurance

Actually kids get enticed by little things and really don't need expensive toys or games.

Lovely to see Chandhu exploring these things instead of sticking his iPad or toys.

Thank you Nisha for exploring this side. I strongly feel the kids need to be exposed to new natural things and experiences. They love it. Busy parents and caretakers offer electronics as a means to fill their place these days.

So right I was just thinking how carefree we used to get to roam the markets and do stuff, drink sugar cane juice ... we loved doing those stuff and we all turned out allright. Where and when did Tv, media and technology and devices overtake this simple joy I wonder. Though in this story I recall Harit telling Teeku that vaidya children did play outdoors in the yard cycling or doing the swing yet as it's still small town.

The distance isnt too long ... I'm not sure if teeku would be able to justify convincingly her not going to Bareilly at least for one of the weekends... swing by and say hello...
And knowing him it's difficult to commit coming every weekend... he will also want to keep his end balanced with how people at home observe his arrangement with wife... this is not going to be easy .

Nice heart warming update Nisha! Worried about Chandu, but looks like he might get adjusted to Bareilly life sooner than Teeku. In Tamil there is a saying "ainthil valaiyathathu aimbathil valaiyuma?. I.e. if you cannot bend when you are 5 you cannot bend when you are 50 meaning what cannot be changed at 5 cannot change at 50. So true young children are malleable. Waiting for more!

SO TRUE RG. Such a great saying! I fully agree. Just as easily as you can manipulate them for negative things, you can also mold them positively

If they are given the attention and love they seek they are pretty easy to raise

How long does it take for you to commute to work?
What time you leave home in the morning, what time do you get home in the evening?
How much of that is purely commute?

Thats the survey question of today

Anytime between 1.30 to 2 hours one way.

In all 4 hours a day.

And I bank on your stories to make the journey enjoyable.

That is INSANE Pritee
I have to start driving across town approx 17 miles, that would be around 26 kms? It will take me between 25-40 minutes, and I am not thrilled about it.

Thats like one 1 hour 20 minutes of my day.
I spend between 20-28 minutes altogether now

In all up-down its 100 kms for me.
I would love the journey to be shorter. But no complaints though.
Have meet some wonderful people. Have Lovely friends. I enjoy my work and hence worth the effort. When alone while travelling I get to pursue my hobby and read.
