So are they going to call it a truce and work towards soothing each other's pain?

It was a beautiful update. Every emotion, every thought... Perfect and in sync.

Awesome.

So happy to read this story first thing in the morning:)
How they understand each other well!
Now Khushi's guilt for not saving his mother has started to avenge her to the extent it affect their 'yet to bloom friendship'
Hope Arnav understands her and his need in her life and also helps her to recover from her guilt!

So, arnav's grandmother was a Khasi girl from beautiful North East India, and arnav's dad married her much to the displeasure of his Rajput family. She lived all her life with her daughter in the hills, until the time came for her daughter to move to her paternal home. Sad. I would say sad because Aida has been used to the lovely wilderness and serenity of her maternal place along with her mother and loving people and I could imagine the hard adjustment she had to make in a land she at first couldn't identify herself with. By the way, Aidashisha is such a lovely name! Why would someone want to change it?! It seems like an amalgamation of Khasi and north Indian name. Well, in due time, she became an integral part of the Raizadas. But what happened then? Why was she inflicted with such horrendous and unthinkable torture, burnt alive. There is much more to the story that we don't know yet. So the people who murdered her were outsiders and the family couldn't do anything to save her. Why? Did someone accuse her of something by false claims? Arnav was a little boy then and he watched the scene unfold in front of him. But where was his father? Who did Aida marry?? Nothing has been said about his father here. Well, arnav's accusations of his family is justified, no matter whether they were guilty of the murder or not. They couldn't protect their own family member, a person who left her home long back and came to embrace the family with so much love.

Khushi is hell bent on avoiding arnav and he is serious in seeking her out! They will be providing relief to each other's wounds and in this way, perhaps understand and embrace each other.

I feel that this story will give out an important social issue and the drawbacks of our society. Really love it for its unique storyline.

Hi Pooja! (I hope that's your name?) First, thank you so much for your detailed review and for expressing the confusion regarding the story. I will try to clear the confusion as well as I can. Arjun Singh Raizada is Arnav's grandpa, not his dad. Aidashisha, Arnav's mother, is Arjun and Iwbin's daughter. I hope the confusing family tree is not so confusing now. Arnav's father and Aidashisha's story will be revealed as the story progresses. And yes, Aidashisha is a pretty name. But it is entirely a Khasi name. And that is exactly why Aida's aunt wanted to change it to something north Indian. Aidashisha's family that is Manohar, her cousin and his wife have their own reasons for their inability to save Aida, which is very general in my opinion. And you will be able to hit the bull's eye easily in that matter much to the storyteller's displeasure. Haha!
I thank you again for being so patient and consistent when I myself am guilty of not being regular.
