NBTNMKK - My First SS - Mohan-Megha

This is my take on how Mohan-Megha's misunderstaanding to be cleared regarding Amar's innocence in NBTNKK.

Note :

Mohan's character from my point is, child(kid) by heart, impulsive by mind and very patient when it comes to his loved ones'.

The characters are same as they are in the show and story takes place post Amar's innocence is proved.

Part 1

After proving Amar Vyas's innocence Mohan decides to stay back in juna mohalla even after

Megha's mistrust and her harsh words in the office, because he understands the gravity of the

situation as well as the delicacy of the topic involving her dead husband's innocence. But he is

definitely very hurt. So, he decides to stop looking at Megha as his love and only treat her as a

friend and a well-wisher.

A week has passed since the incident and everything is normal once again. Nanhi(Navika aka

Chavvanni) is very happy as her spiderman has fulfilled his promise once again. But, the

incident where Nanhi was kidnapped is still unknown to Megha and the Vyas family members as

Nanhi obliged to keep the matter to herself on Mohan's request. Nanhi starts depending

completely on Mohan for all her problems.

One evening, Mohan and Nanhi are having a chat on their favourite place (the terrace).

Nanhi - Spiderman(SM), I am very very happy and this is all because of you.

Mohan(SM) - Aye sunnaa, main bhi bohat khush hoon yaar. Aur, first time toh, even I was

fooled because of which tere papa was found guilty based on false charges. Toh it is all clear

now.

Nanhi - Spiderman, why are you so sad these days (as always sees through Mohan) ?

Mohan - avoiding the topic, diverts his gaze and tells, nahin toh.

Nanhi - I know spiderman when you lie. So, no more hiccups and tell me what is bothering you

so much

Mohan - with a sigh, tells, Nanhi will your mother ever believe and trust me as you do?

Nanhi, not getting the clear picture, as she is unaware of the happenings between Mohan and

Megha, tells

Nanhi - matlab, main kuch smajhi nahin...

On the otherside, Megha is searching for Nanhi, after searching her everywhere she decides to

go look on the terrace once. She reaches the terrace and surprised to see Mohan along with

Nanhi. Out of curiosity, she hides behind the wall to eavesdrop on their conversation. When she

hears Mohan speaking about her trust, she is taken aback and feels very low of herself that she

did not trust him then.

Part 2

Mohan, seeing where the conversation will go, tells, Nanhi, let's talk about this some other time. It is already late now. They do their sweet action of endearment (touch their chin and hi-fi) and depart.

Here, In Megha's room, her thoughts are completely stuck on Mohan's words. From the past week she is sad because of both, her mistrust on Mohan and Mohan's changed behavior towards her. But after hearing the hurtful voice from Mohan, she is unable to concentrate on any work.

After lot of thinking, she decides to apologize to Mohan and clear the air. And somewhere, she is very happy seeing the bond Mohan and Nanhi share and on her decision too.

Next day at work, she goes early to the office and starts her work waiting for Mohan. She is hell nervous, although she has decided to apologize to Mohan, she did not know how to approach him seeing his changed behavior.

When Mohan arrives, they instantly look at each other and for a change Mohan first breaks the eyelock. There is still time for the office hours to start, so, Megha asks if they could talk outside. Mohan, surprised, agrees. They go to an outside canteen (imagine) and order coffee and again there is silence.

Mohan, still processing why Megha has called, asks

Mohan - All okay Mrs. Vyas ? Is there any problem ?

Megha - (Silent)

Mohan - You can share with me if there is any issue. We are friends right?

Megha - (Finally, with tears in her eyes) I am really very sorry Mohan. Will you forgive me?

Mohan - What are you talking about? And why are you apologizing?

Megha - I know Mohan, how much you have been hurt when I did not trust you then, so please, will you ever forgive me for the pain inflicted on you by me everytime ?

Mohan - Unable to see tears in her eyes, says, it is nothing like that Mrs Vyas, I understand how difficult it was for you in that situation, so please, let us put the past behind and move forward.

Megha - Then what do I interpret of your changed behavior. You are not at all in your joyful self post the incident. I have been observing, it feels like you do not even want to talk to me. Why is that may you please tell?

Mohan - Completely taken aback by her abrupt confession, smiles wholeheartedly after a long time. He composes himself quickly, not to make the situation awkward, and responds in his usual self, yaar... there is nothing like that Mrs Vyas.

Megha - Relaxed a bit after his usual way of talk and asked again, do you forgive me then?

Mohan - There is nothing to forgive. so what do I forgive you for?

Megha - Adamant like a kid, do you forgive me or not?

Mohan - Admitting defeat, okay, yes, now satisfied?

They head back to the office with a relieved Megha and Mohan still pondering whether to confess his feelings to Megha or not.
