@ajay any elder will be concerend as per our way of life that our daughter/sister is roaming with a boy. yes we may not do what virender did, but then obviously it will be looked into.

It is easy to tell what is big deal in having pre marital. What about pregnancy. Fine abortion or give the child to orphanage and then go with your lives. If abortion it has many health ramifications and successive abortions can impact your ability to conceive when you really need a baby.

Then emotional trauma, sometime suicide. Here I am not talking about freedom of choices, but do you understand the implications of those choices. If you send child to orphanage for your mistake, for you crossing the line, the child pays.

And it is not just about woman, it applies to man also. If a man thinks he wants a virgin better he be a bachelor in every sense. If the child is put to orphanage then he is equally if not more responsible for that child's condition, because when we say a woman has to look at household as per our old thoughts, the same thoughts expects a man to take care of wife and children till they are grown up, to ensure they have enough food to eat and they have a roof over their head.

ok He has trust on suman n concerned for her well being as woman etc but his way of doing work...era can be different , may be he can't talk directly with suman but he has definitely problem that Suman choose a boy...n more he has problem with that fact that she denied for wedding the boy whom he has chosen ...

its not about murli or sree.

its ego some how..

yes he is right some extent n he played with word carefully...

along with what he is doing with his wife n daughter..killing daughter to get son, going to brothel for need..I really can't like this man for an ounce...

@Rakhee if I kill Virender's ego then I will kill the man😆😆. He is always right you know😆😆. You need to know Virender is not exactly a villian, he is the product of the social realities of the times. But it is people like him who feeds criminals like Mahantji and Prathana Devi indirectly

virendra's pov is very well written
may be in that era parents will not ask such things to daughter
his side of story is also true
but the path he chose - tortured her wife and daughter suman to death is not justified.

@dh it was like that. Even in my community during my teenage years no one asked the girls what they wanted. If the guy liked the girl that was it. Marriage was fixed.

@DH , Shruthi even not with parents from my story like I have choose the guy n my parents like it both house talk n blessed our choice as we r lucky but not fully as our relatives has problem with it ..they dont like sply from my side how can I give permission for it or how can I choose something...

From 18 yrs I got pressure to get marry but thankfully my parents never give me pressure n support me to pursue my dream to continue the study that also has objection for many...sigh

the mentality for many like a girl can't choose not only wedding but for Study...
