Kripa…
Kripa walked into her large, extravagant house. With marble flooring, the best furniture, a chandelier everywhere you turned. Flats screen TV's , everything! It was a house you all would dream for…but wasn't a home. She called her maid in from the kitchen.
"Betty, where's Sahil?" she asked in a curious tone. Usually Sahil is waiting by the door for her and Angad. " Oh madam, he's up….The speak of the little devil", Betty said as she walked back into the kitchen. Kripa ran up to Sahil, as he jumped into her lap. Her Sahil…her son.
" Mommy, they showed the Season Finally for Avatar!", Sahil said in his excited voice. "Baby, it's finale, not finally", Kripa laughed at Sahil' s innocence.
Sahil wet back upstairs to watch some other show. Kripa stood there, knowing that it was time to explain to Sahil that his daddy isn't his mommy's husband anymore. That sound so very confusing to Kripa, God knows how she was going to explain it to Sahil. She went up slowly to his room. His room was her favorite room house. It was Blue, with a Blue's Clues Wallpaper, and adorable furniture. His room was designed by Angad when Sahil turned 4. Before this, Sahil was in the other room, the overly decorated room Das had paid the designer to make. Kripa sat next to Sahil, who was hypnotized by the television.
" Sahil, mommy needs to talk to you beta, do you mind turning off the television please?" Kripa asked. It so annoying when parents demand things from you. Children no matter how young or old are people too. They have feelings and wanting just as parents. When a parent needed something of a child, they should ask just as the children would. It teaches children to respect parents, because they receive respect from them. Unfortunately, parents mistaken fear for respect most of the time.
" Okay mommy, what would you like to speak bout?" Sahil replied. " It's about sweetie, not bout" Kripa said.
"Sorry". Kripa looked at him and told him as nicely as possible that Daddy wont be coming home.
K- " Remember, we talked about how sometimes two people just cant get along"?
S- "Yes Mommy, can you get along with Daddy now"?
K- Baby, I'm sorry…Daddy and I cant live together anymore. Mommy and Daddy are too different"
S- "Oh…okay. Mommy are you mad at daddy"?
K-"No, daddy is very nice right"?
S- "Yes, I love daddy"!
K- "Good…and I love you".
S- "Mommy, so does this mean I'll never play with daddy anymore"?
That question made Kripa stop. If it was up to her, then she'd wouldn't let Sahil talk to Angad anymore, wouldn't let him play with Angad, or stay with Angad. But it wasn't only her choice. Kripa had custody of Sahil, but he surprisingly asked for visitation rights. That really shocked Kripa.
K- "Of course, you'll see daddy every other weekend"
S- "Okay!, now can I please watch TV"?
Kripa kissed Sahils's forehead and left the room. She walked through the large empty halls. Rehan her best friend, had told her that it wouldn't be easy, but she never thought it would be this hard…this painful. She walked past her prayer room and laughed. What was the point of having a prayer room, in a hell house like this? A house filled with so many sins, that you had the open the windows to let some out. She didn't know about Das, Angad, or Rehan…but she was sure going down to hell. After all the lies she said. For God's sake, she just lied as hell to her own 4 year old son! What could be worse than that? Sahil would never play with his father…he'll only play with Angad. She left into her bedroom. This was her least favorite room in the house. This is the room were she slept countless of times with Das. This room disgusted her…after that one night she slept with Angad in her, it disgusted her. She looked into the mirror and saw her image. Her beautiful, young face. Her brown hair and green eyes. She saw her self…it disgusted her even more.
Coming Up- Angad…
