Sheetal starts her work. She gets the information that Khushi's is not Ranveer's real sister.
She said, "Khushi is not Ranveer's real sister but the half sister."
Flashback
Ranveer's father named Tej had an affair with a lady named Shakuntala before he got married to Jhanvi.
Tej had listened to dadi and had married Jhanvi, not knowing that Shakuntala is pregnant. After the wedding, Jhanvi had given birth to Ranveer and Ranvijay. She was carrying for the third time. However, it was a miscarriage.
Doctor: Sorry to say. But Jhanvi will not be able to conceive again.
The entire family was shattered.
Tej gets a call from Shakuntala. He goes there and is shocked to know that Shakuntala was carrying his baby.
Tej: Why didn't you tell me that you were pregnant.
Shakuntala: Would that have made any difference to you? Anyway, I am dying now. You take this baby that I am going to deliver
Tej: Nothing will happen to you.
He takes Shakuntala to the hospital, She delivers a girl child and passes away.
Doctor: Sorry to say. She is no more.
The entire family performs the last rites.
Tej to Jhanvi: I am sorry that I didn't tell you the truth. I did have an affair with her but I did not know that she was carrying my child. You and our sons wanted a girl. So this is the child for you. Please accept the child.
Jhanvi, Ranveer, and Ranvijay accept the child.
Dadi calls the pundit for the naming ceremony and names her Khushi.
Everyone showered so much love for Khushi that she felt homely.
One day, Tej and Jhanvi had gone out for the business trip. However, they died in a plane crash. Hearing that, dadi gets a sudden heart attack and breathes her last. Since then Ranveer has been taking care of the empire and the family.
Flashback ends.
Akash: Who said this to you?
Sheetal: I got the information from the reliable sources.
Dadi is overhearing and recording the conversation.
She said to herself: This girl is upto some mischief. Well, I need to get more information about Sheetal so I can dissuade Arnav from marrying Sheetal.
Akash: How does it matter. When the family has accepted her, what is your problem?
Sheetal: Yes, after all, it is your choice. Well, I will catch you soon.
Khushi is very much worried about the future: I have not told Akash that I won't be able to conceive. I think I should tell him the truth. I have to go to the doctor to check whether something can be done. Khushi has been feeling uneasy as she has been having a problem in her heart because of which she is unable to conceive. Ranveer had shown her to many doctors but it was of no avail. He had given up the hope. Sheetal follows her discreetly & gets the information one day before the wedding. Dadi too gets the information from her reliable sources about Sheetal.
On the wedding day, Ranvi & Gunjan get married.
However, before Akshi's wedding could take place, Sheetal goes to Akash & said, "Khushi cannot conceive as she has got a weak heart."
Akash gets shocked. He said, "No that is not possible. Khushi has not told me any such thing."
Sheetal: Better late than never.
Akash: No, you are lying. Why are you after Khushi's back?
Akash to Sheetal: I will marry Khushi, no matter what.
Sheetal: For you it is fine but what about your brother? He will give the property only to those who will add the family members. Even if you adopt the child, it won't be your biological child.
Akash: Well, when I have the capacity to earn, why should I ask Arnav? I will take Khushi to the best doctors & see that she is fit to conceive.
Sheetal: You will do that but will Arnav support you? I have seen him insulting you for supporting Khushi. I feel bad for you.
Akash gets thoughtful. He comes downstairs where Khushi is dressed up as a bride.
Akash to Khushi: Is it true?
Khushi shivers: Yes, it is true. I thought of telling you later.
Akash: I love you a lot but I cannot marry you as I need biological kids.
Everyone are shocked.
Dadi gets enraged. She goes to Akash & said, "Is this the love you have towards Khushi. Is it proper to humiliate a girl in front of the society?"
Akash: If I had known this earlier, I would have accepted her.
Khushi: I myself got to know it late. When I was searching for a file, I had accidentally found the report.
Devyani: It is not your fault, Khushi. I am with you.
She then plays the video and exposes Sheetal.
Dadi to Arnav: Do you still want to marry Sheetal? She does not love you. She is after our property. Because Khushi is from a rich family, she is jealous. After seeing the evidence, you decide for yourself.
Sheetal: Arnav, I didn't mean that.
Arnav: Enough Sheetal, Now I know why you people have been pushing me into the commitment. Get lost.
Sheetal & her mother leaves the place humiliated.
Dadi to Arnav: You told me that if I get the evidence against Sheetal, you will do what I say.
Arnav: Yes, I said.
Dadi: It is not good to humiliate a bride in front of the society. What Akash did was not right. If Akash cannot marry Khushi. You marry her.
Arnav: How can I marry her? I have never loved her & I don't know what is her wish.
Khushi to Ranveer: Why didn't you tell me all these things?
Ranveer: I am very sorry. I didn't tell this to you earlier as I was afraid of your condition. The doctor had told me that you won't be able to take the stress & it can cost your life. We don't want to lose you. Let's go Khushi.
Ranveer & Khushi are about to leave te place. Khushi is about to faint. However, the strong arms hold her. It is none other than Arnav.
Dadi: You now know her condition. Who will marry her in this state & on top of that she has to live with that black mark? If Gunjan was in that place, what would you do?
Ranveer & Khushi are about to leave. Suddenly he hears a voice saying, "Wait for me. I will marry Khushi."
Ranveer turns back & to his surprise, Arnav had agreed to marry Khushi.
He said: I want to know her wish.
Ranveer: Khushi, there is no pressure on anyone's side. Whatever you say, that is final.
Khushi: You have done so much for me. Though I am not your real sister, you gave me the real brother's love. So I can definitely do this for my family. I am ready for this marriage.
Ranveer & Dadi are very happy.
Arnav & Khushi go to the mandap & get married.
Ishani goes to Ranveer & said, "You are the best brother & best son to the family."
Ranveer: Thanks a lot. We will meet at the office.
Ranvijay carries Gunjan to his room as Grahapravesh. Arnav too carries Khushi to his room.
Akash gets shocked that Sheetal had deceived him. He decides to get Khushi back in his life.
