The entire battallion had assembled in the dining tent. Evrey1 was laughing n teasing each oder...Huda n Alekh continue wid deir bickering...Pooja givin Naina a lecture on all d latest handsets..n Raj talkin to sum of d junior cadets.

In the fun and laughter of the evening, even Raj n Naina forgot deir troubles. Huda den began narrating a long winded tal of his new Bhains..Chameli who had all d "Ladka-Bhainses" deewaane after dem..Naina den rememberd d time wen huda had cheered her up by talkin to a bhains a few years back at d academy...n not being able to help it, she burst into laughter...she laughed n she laughed...n every1 turned roung in shock.."Oyr phoolan!! Tujhe yaad aa gaya ki hasnaa kaisa hota hai??" asked huda in mock shock..but Naina jus shook her head, still laughing...ud looked scared.."Uhhh...naina..tum theek ho na? i mean..seriousely..yahaan ki hawaa ne tumhe kuch kar toh nahin diya..u no..kabhi kabhi kuch logon ko mountains mein aake yeh hota hai.." naina shook her head.."Ud...yeh mountains ki nahin...huda ki bimaari hai.." huda also smiled den..

Naina...still wid a huge smile on her face turnd to get sum more dinner wen she noticed sum1 lukin at her...Raj...dat laugh..dat smile...it had taken him to dose old days..wen naina used to smile..WITH HIM...she used to laugh..with him...his eyes sparkled with the same love that had been there during the time of KMA...n naina felt a tinge in her cheeks...she luked down,the smile now gone frm he face..she rememberd...the day wen raj taught her how o dance..wen she n Rj had laughed so much...the time raj had taken her 2 watch that comedy movie...she dint remember the name..all she rememberd was Raj passing comments..which made her laugh..n suddenly...all those happy memories vanishe..jus to be replaced by that one day..that one incident..which changed it all between them...she remembered her snse of loneliness...dat empty feeling wen it had happened...wen it was all over...

but raj n naina werent d only ones going thru turmoil...pooja had been happily discussing about mobile handsets n connecions wen He entered...ali...he took up his plate..put sum food and joined the table...alekh n huda luked away but ud tried to be frndly...pooja simply luked down at her plate...ali jus cast a hard stare at evry1 n continued eating. naina arrived back at d table.."oh..ali...woh meri chair thi.." ali turned round to face naina...he dint say a wor.."oye usool...uth!" sed huda..."nahin huda...waise bhi maine dinner kar liya hai...pooja..i'll meet u in the room.." she sed n left..

"oye usool...tune agar meri phoolan ko tang kya toh main tera mooh tod doonga..samjhaayi??"

"lagta hai aapki dhamki dene ki aadat nahin gayi abhi tak.."

"usool..tu.."

"humein naina se koi baat nahin karni...unhone jo kiya..humein unse woh ummeed nahin thi.."

alekh, who had been listening silenly all dis time suddenly rose like a tige.."chal..phoot yahaan se...apun ko khaane ke waqt magajmaari achchi nahin kagti.." his eyes were feiry with rage...

"aapko naina se baat marni hai..kijiye..magar humein aise logon se.."

"ALI.....stop it..." a voice..lud n clear rang out....raj stood up n walked towards hi..."bina kuch jaane tumhe yeh sab kehne ka koi hak nahin banta..."

"yeh app keh rahe hai sir...?? aapko toh is sabke baare mein bahut kuch pata hoga na.." sed ali, n left d room...raj stood staring in shock...n den he caught sight of naina...she was still standing at d entrance of d tent..her expression sad..distant..n hurt....she turned round n left..n raj followed her..

Silence reigned in the dining room of Camp 1313..
