Chapter 8 ~ Missing you, love

Next day Taani left somewhere around 9 a.m. before Rey or Swayam could even wake up knowing they would never let her go alone. Rey woke up only to find her missing which made him restless.

He immediately woke swayam up who got worried too for his baby sis. Both started calling her but found her phone too switched off, so unlike her.
They were about to go and search for her when swayam found a note from her on the floor which fell from the table which is why both couldnt see it.

"Bhai, I am going to Jodhpur. Tauji had called me. Phone's battery low. I will call you later after reaching there. Take care bhai. Love you."
They relaxed a bit and left for college.

She didnt return for 2 days.She called swayam once after reaching there.

Rey was unusually quiet in those days. He was missing her badly. An unknown fear was also there if she will ever return? He tried to remain positive but nothing was working. He was missing her real badly and was craving to see her and hug her. He was missing her so much that he just wanted to lock her in his arms forever. He was also thinking if she is ok or not. He knew she was in pain and she was really upset and this mere thought was bothering him...hurting him all throughout. He didnt want to worry swayam that's why he didnt ask swayam anything regarding taani except that she reached jodhpur safely.

Gang members tried cheering him upbut nothing was working. Ria tried her clingy acts in the name of fake sympathy by hugging him or going too close to him but he shoved her away feeling extremely uncomfortable and uneasy. He even told her to not come close to him as taani is not there so no need of any act now. He even left rehearsals in between saying he is not in right frame of mind.
Ria was fuming in anger and busied herself in more planning and plotting.

Rey left for home and calmed himself by adoring taani's pics and taarey's old pics.

At last around 11 p.m.. he decided to call her unable to control himself but she cut his call making him even more, hurt, angry and restless.
Then he decided to message her..

"Hi sweetheart :)" he typed but then deleted sweetheart thinking she might not like it and wont reply..

On the other hand, She was lying on the bed hugging her teddy bear and crying endlessly for some reason... when her phone beeped again after she cut his call not wanting to worry him.

Rey: Hi :)

That little smiley made her smile a little and then sheburst into tears as she missed him more. But she decided to message him as he wont be able to hear her sobs or cries in messageunlike in call.
He was waiting impatiently after getting the seen ticks thinking if she will reply or not.
But after few minutes, his phone beeped with message tone.

Taani sweetheart: hi... how are you?

Rey smiled feeling her care. He wanted to type that he is not ok and missing her badly but controlled himself.

Rey: I am fine. How are you?

Taani felt his reply nothing but a lie. Dont know why but her heart told her that he is not fine. But as if she is going to listen her heart. She has stopped that long ago.

A part of her wanted to share all her pains with him but she couldnt. She knew she cant let herself go weak again in love. She trusted him yet didnt want to trust him.

"I am ok" she typed with tears in her eyes. Then added smiley for him to smile and also to let him know that she is fine too.

Taani Sweetheart: I am ok too :)
His phone beeped with her message.

"I can feel your pain sweetheart.. just dont know how to remove it,I am so sorry...please forgive me for that.." he thought sadly.

He called again but she cut again.She was not in a state to talk. Only she knew how she was messaging with a blurred vision while crying.
Rey messaged her impatiently.

Rey: Why are you not answering my call? What happened?

Some stubborn tears fell from her eyes yet again feeling his care in the message. Some bitter memories were hurting her.. killing her once again which she couldnt share with him. Still she replied a lie not wanting to worry him.

Taani sweetheart:Sore throat. Cant talk.
Rey wanted to believe her but still a part of him felt it is a lie but still shrugged off as his overthinking.

Rey: Are you lying?

Taani sweetheart: No.. why would I ?

Rey: ok fine but someone was saying that she is fine...why dont you take care of yourself Taani?"

Taani sweetheart: Rey stop enquiring and scolding like my mom.
She messaged without thinking..

"Mom... amma..." she whispered and cried as her memories flooded back.

She punched her fluffy bed and pillows in pain and anger,
" Ammaaa I miss you.. Mom... why did you both left me..MOM... Amma I miss you both... please comeback na,"

Her phone beeped again with rey's message while she was thinking.
Rey:hahaha veryfunny...butTaani stop it.Take care and get well soon.

"Rey why the hell do you care for me.. so ...bloddy ...much," she whispered brokenly looking at her phone through her tears, "Your care hurts now.. it hurts a lot."She buried her face in her pillow hugging her teddy more tightly while crying.
He was waiting impatiently for her reply but she didnt reply for sometime making him worry and restless for a while.

At last he texted again
Rey: Taani you there?

She controlled herself as her phone beeped again. She replied his message after wiping her tears and asking herself to be strong.

Taani sweetheart: Yes..

Rey: Had dinner?

She remembered how her tauji made her eat something as she hadnt eaten anything whole day.

Taani sweetheart: yes... you?

Rey:umm No..

He replied truthfully craving for her love and care.

Taanisweetheart: Reyyy, are you insane or what? Goand have something NOW...
Rey just smiled at her message..

Rey: I will.. dont worry.
Taani bit her tongue thinking she went overboard.

Taani sweetheart: I wont.. why would Iworry for you? Anyways how are rehearsals going?
She asked keeping her uneasy feeling aside because rehearsals and the competition are her responsibility.

He texted a lie not wanting to worry her and then at last he wanted to tease her a little.

Rey:ya..why would you?God,when will you stop lying Taani? Anyways Rehearsals are going ok.I enjoy a lot dancing and romancing with My Ria.

Taani fumed in anger reading his message.

Taani sweetheart: ya ya why not after all Ria is your first love... definitely you must be enjoying, dancing and Romancing .. a Lottt with her.

Rey laughed at her message imagining her cute jealous face.

Rey: Why are you getting so jealous baby?

Taani lied to him and herself.
Taani sweetheart:I AM NOT JEALOUS.. ok now I have to go to sleep.. good night, bye.

Rey just smiled at her lie..

Rey: I do believe your lie sweety...anyways come back soon... everyone is missing you .. ok good night. sweet dreams my cute kitty."

He typed' I am missing you'but deleted it and typed 'everyone is missing you'at its place.

She just smiled a little at his messageand gaped at last reading "my cute kitty"

Taani sweetheart: Rey I am not 'your cute kitty'.
Rey chuckled at it

Rey: ofcourse not, you are'my tigress'

Taani sweetheart : Rey I am not your tigress either.

Rey: ok my darling as you say...

Taani sweetheart: Rey stop it. I am not your kitty, tigress or darling.

Rey: As you say My tomato
Taani just gaped at tomato..

Taani: Rey, this is the limit now.

Rey: what? You didnt like tomato also sweetheart? Ok then you are my star.

He just smiled and texted at last what actually came to his heart.. his star, his taani, his sweetheart.

Taani just adored star and reminisced their beautiful memories. A cute blush formed on her cheeks automatically with a tinge of tears that came back in her eyes.She didnt even realize that she forgot all her pains for sometime while chatting with him.

Taani sweetheart: ok whatever. Now final bye and good night Rey. Go and have your food Now. Its your star's wish that you stay happy and healthy always :)

She became cold towards him first but then couldnt control herself at last knowing how careless he is.

Rey just smiled at her messageand replied her,
Rey: Good night star. Sleep tight. Dont worry for anything. Remember I am always there for you."
Taani's eyes filled with some tears of happiness this time.
Taani sweetheart: Thank you Rey. Bye

Rey: Bye for now only star. Comeback soon.

"Reyyy,"Taani whispered while moving her thumb softly on his name displaying on her phone screen.

She had a little smile on her face with moist eyes and an aching heart longing for him.

Rey also traced her name on the phone "Taani sweetheart" with his fingers lovingly and adoringly and whispered to himself, "love you my star... my sweetheart.. You are undoubtedly the best...just the best my love... love you always love."Then he went to have his dinner to fulfill his star's wish.

After sometime both slept longing and missing for each other. On one hand Rey was waiting for her to comeback and on the other hand, Taani was trying her best to stay strong and not feel any emotion called 'love'...Rather she wanted to replace love with hatred for him but her heart was melting in his love and care and it was beating in love... pure love.

Ok friends i hope u like this chapter. Actually this is more like a filler update for the upcoming plot.
