Sandhya, this update made me think a lot about human relationships and how we always try to find happiness which is not with us and forget about what we have.Aarti did the same mistake. Agreed disappearance of a child is no less painful than losing a child but what about the children who are left behind, solely depending on her emotionally.
Now the distances between Aarti and her sons are so wide that it would take lot of effort on both sides to cross that distance.
Arnav atleast was a stronger person, he found ways to deal with all the ugly situations even be running away from it. But Akash was the weaker one. And being Anjali's twin further worsened the situation for him. Everything of him probably reminded Aarti of Anjali including his birthday.
After Anjali's abduction, has Akash ever celebrated his birthday? Has anyone ever wished him?
Probably No.
And he always looked for love. My guess is him falling in love easily either with Payal or Lavanya is the proof for that. He needs acceptance. He needs someone to take care of him, assure him of their love for him. And when he does not find love, he looks for some kind of relief in alcohol.
One can only feel sad for him. There is only a limit to what Arnav can help him too.
Arnav did try to build and boost his morale, but always being in the shadow of either Arnav or the ugly truth of Anjali's twin did not build his confidence in any way.
He needs help in many ways not just rehab.
The question is can and will Lavanya agree to be the anchor of his life boat? It is not a crime to be weak and to seek help. Not everyone are born strong in this world. And if Lavanya genuinely feels Akash is a nice guy, good at heart, I hope she extends that arm towards him.
She is a strong person and her strength would help pull Akash out of the abyss he is in now.
Coming to Arnav, feeling that he is like his father, running away from situations, I want to ask him this question, is running away wrong?
And he was only running away because even after trying he could not find solutions to the problems at home. Solutions to problems is a collective work and apparently he cannot be the entire family to do all the work.
Atleast now, even if it is due to Khushi, he is staying back. Lets see if something good comes out of it.
Now Sandhya, his images of Khushi being naughty and playful, was that his imagination or did they spend the night together???😳🤔
For now I will not comment on Arnav's father until I know his POV. Let me wait for his appearance in the story.
Sandhya, what I love about your writing is, you do not explicitly tell us how a character is and what are his or her strengths and weaknesses are. But you give instances in their lives which makes us think about them, look at them like real people and try to put ourselves in their shoes and understand them better.
Thank you for this wonderful update. Now eagerly waiting for Part 2.
