Arnav's house...
"Yummy this pasta is amazing!!!" Khushi said as she took a spoonful...
"Well I made it so it had to be..." Arnav said winking at her...He kissed her on her head as he sat next to her with his plate...
Just then the phone rang...
"Great! Cant a man eat in piece..." Arnav grumble before getting back up and heading for the phone...
"Yello..." He said jokingly...
"Arnav... it's me Taani.." Taani said softly...
"What's wrong?" Arnav said suddenly he could feel that something was wrong...
"Arjun's hurt! Can you come over?" Taani said...
"ill be right there..." Arnav said putting down the phone...
"What's wrong?" Khushi said standing up...
"Arjun's hurt..." Arnav said grabbing his jacket... Khushi grabbed hers and the left the flat together...
"What did Taani say anything?" Khushi asked...
"No she just told me to come over, she wouldn't have asked me to come over if it wasn't serious..." Arnav said...
"I hope he's ok..." Khushi said as they got into the car...
Taani
She checked on Arjun after she called Arnav, she wiped his face with a wet cloth... He had bruises everywhere...
Just then there was a knock on the door, Taani got up and she opened the door... it was Arnav and Khushi...
"Where is he?" Arnav questioned...
"He's in the room.." Taani said... Khushi and Arnav went to the room to check Arjun...Taani followed them...
"What happened?"Khushi asked turning to Taani...
Taani explained, what happened in the alley way... She told them there were seven guys who were beating up Arjun...
"Why didn't you take him to the hospital?"Arnav asked...
"Arjun hates hospital, he will never go..." Khushi said...
"Yeh he told me not to take him to the hospital, to bring him home..."Taani said...
Khushi used the same cloth to wipe Arjun's face... She looked around at Taani who looked lost...
She put the cloth down and walked over to Taani...
"Are you ok? Did you get hurt?" Khushi asked concerned...Arnav looked up he complete forgot about Taani...
"Sorry Taani!!" He said he came to her and hugged her... Taani hugged him back...
"I'm fine... nothing is wrong with me... I was just worried about Arjun!" Taani said...
"Alright, go one home ill stay with him..." Arnav said... to Khushi and Taani...
"No ill stay to..." Taani said...
"Yeh and me..."Khushi said shaking her head...
Just then Arjun made a noise... he moved...Arnav went to check on him...
"He's asleep..." Arnav said...
"We'll stay in the living room... you should stay with him then ok..." Arnav said to Taani...
Taani was a little confused as to why he would tell her to sleep with him when she remembered that her and Arjun was suppose to be dating... She shook her head...
Arnav and Khushi left...Taani didn't know what to do, she climbed into the bed next to Arjun and fell asleep...
Khushi...
She woke up, She realised she had fallen asleep on Arnav's lap... She sat up and watched him sleeping, snoring slightly... She looked around and remembered that they were at Arjun's house...
She stood up slowly and walked over to Arjun's room, she opened the door slightly and saw Taani sleeping next to Arjun... she closed the door again and went to the kitchen, she started making coffee...
"Hey... you're awake..." Arnav said making his way over to her...
"Yeh, look I need to get to the office... but someone needs to stay with Arjun..." Khushi said...
"Yeh I'll tell Taani to take the day off.." Arnav said...
"Yeh, that's a good idea...ok ill meet you at the office..." Khushi said pecking Arnav on his cheek...
Just then Arjun's bedroom door opened and Taani walked out half asleep...
"Hey!" She said...
"Hey Taani... Slept well?" Khushi asked...
"Like a baby!" Taani smiled...
"Ok I need to go to the office... why don't you take the day off... look after Arjun ok..."Khushi said...
"Are you sure I can come..." Taani said...
"Na its fine... he needs you..." Arnav said winking at her... Taani smiled back...
"Oh wait... we found blood in the alley way last night... we were suppose to run it by forensics last night... but after everything I completely forgot..." Taani said, she looked for Arjun's jacket... he was the one who took the sample..
"Great... hopefully that will give us leads...Thanks...ill give it in..."Khushi said taking it...
"Take care... little sister..." Arnav said kissing Taani on her forehead...
"Bye..." She said as Khushi and Arnav left...
Taani closed the door and sighed... She hated lying to Arnav but she had to if she still wanted Rey in her life...
Precinct
Zoya walked in, she had just went to pick up the reports from Ananya on the prints...
"Hey guys, I've got the prints..." Zoya said going through the papers... She looked up when she didn't get an answer...
Where is everyone? Zoya wondered... She looked around... other officers were there but her team was no where to be found...
"Zoya!" The Captain said walking up to her...
"Hi Sir..." She replied oh shit, did I have to see his face so early??
"Where is your team?" He questioned... I guess im not the only one who noticed Zoya thought...
"Oh there on the case... Khushi and Arnav... are umm getting some clues from the foresnics and Taani Arjun, went to check the alleyway..." Zoya said... hoping he would buy the lie..
"Ok good work!" He said and then he went back to his office...
Phew... Zoya thought...
She took out her phone to call Khushi...
"Zoya!" Zoya turned around and saw Khushi and Arnav walking towards her...
"Where the hell were you guy the captains been asking?" Zoya said...
"What did you say?" Arnav asked
"I just made up whatever... where were you guys?"Zoya asked again..
"Arjun was attacked yesterday..." Khushi said...
"What is he ok?" Zoya asked...
"Yeh...Taani is with him..." Khushi said...
"One sec... ill be right back..." Arnav said leaving the girls...
"Why is Taani with him?" Zoya asked as she followed Khushi to her desk...
"Um because their together..." Khushi said...She looked up to see a confused look on Zoyas face...
"What? I know its weird right... but I just found out yesterday, Arnav told me..." Khushi said but Zoya continued to look confused...
"Zoya what's wrong?" Khushi asked...
"I think their lying... they're not together..." Zoya said...Khushi was shocked...
"Why do you say that?" Khushi asked...
"Because just yesterday Taani was trying to get me and Arjun together... if she was him why would she want him to go out with me?" Zoya wondered...Khushi thought about it..

"Are you sure?" Khushi asked... "Why would they lie..?" Khushi asked...
"it might have to do with Taani's secret boyfriend!" Zoya said remembering something else...
"What secret boyfriend?" Khushi asked sharply...
"I don't know, yesterday she was going on about me and Arjun, so I told her you date him then and then she said that she would if she wasn't already with someone else... then she tried to cover it up..." Zoya explained...
Khushi picked the phone up...
"Who are you calling?" Zoya wondered...
"Um hi I am detective Khushi, I want to know if Mr Reyansh has had any recent visitors?" Khushi asked and Zoya's eyes widened she understood what Khushi was doing... Zoya looked around to check if Arnav was coming...
"Yes... ok Thank You!" Khushi slammed the phone down...
"Cover for me ill be right back... in the mean time... check the prints... then ask Arnav to go down to the lab they should have the reports on the blood sample... match them ok..." Khushi said... before grabbing her jacket and leaving...
Zoya was left stunned...
