Part 6

Arjun's house

"Hey Prince Charming..."Taani said as Arjun woke up... he slowly got up...

"What time is it?"Arjun said wincing in pain...

"Nearly 11... Why?" Taani asked...

"WHAT?? We have to get to work!!" Arjun said trying to get off the bed...

"Don't even think about it... Khushi and Arnav was over... they told me to tell you to take a day off work.. And me..."Taani said pushing him back down on the bed...

"Ugh I don't take days of work..." Arjun said...

"Yeh I know... you have no life..." Taani teased...Arjun smiled and shook his head... which also hurts...

"Alright at least let me take a shower..." Arjun said...

"Are you sure you can manage?" Taani asked...

"Don't worry I'll call you if I need help..." Arjun joked...

"Haha... I won't be coming... I'll call Arnav..." Taani said handing him a towel...

"Thanks..." Arjun said as he took the towel and limped towards the bathroom...

Taani looked around... the bed was a mess... she changed the sheets... and made the bed...

She was just fixing the pillow when someone knocked on the door... Wondering who it could be Taani went to the door...

She opened it and was surprised to see Khushi... she looked furious...

"Hey... What's wrong?" Taani asked slowly...

"You tell me... are you and Arjun really together?" Khushi asked coming into the flat and closing the door behind her...

"Of course... why would you even ask that?"Taani asked... her heartbeat became faster...

"Seriously Taani... you're just going to stand there and lie to me!" Khushi said her voice rising...

"Khushi... I'm not lying..." Taani said... although she couldn't hold eye contact with Khushi

"Oh really were you always a liar? Or did your new boyfriend teach you how to lie... because that wouldn't be the first wrong thing he has done..."Khushi said...

"Khushi!" Taani started...

"You've been seeing Reyansh right!" Khushi said..."After everything that has happened you're seeing that murderer..."Khushi continued...

"That's none of your business..." Taani replied...

"O really.. if it wasn't you wouldn't have lied to everyone... not to mention you got Arjun to lie for you... how low can you even go Taani... Arjun is a good guy!!" Khushi started shouting...

"Arjun knew what he was doing...I didn't force him to do anything, He's an adult and he can make his own choices...!" Taani shouted back...

"Why don't you understand Taani... you don't love Rey... you don't even know him... you like how he looks... and looks can be deceiving... you met him when you were at your weakest... he had power over you...don't be stupid Taani... just open your eyes and see this is just an attraction... if he could murder someone... what's to stop him murdering you if he gets angry or upset... he's already shown he is capable of doing just that..." Khushi said...

"He loves me..."Taani said... refusing to listen to Khushi,

"Taani, I'm giving you one chance...I don't want you to see him again.."Khushi said...

"I can't Khushi I really love him..." Taani said close to tears...

"Fine... then I'll go to him..." Khushi said turning around and leaving...

"KHUSHI!! Wait!!" Taani called...

Khushi ran to her car, got in and sped off to the prison...

She got out...and made her way inside she told the warden she wanted to see Rey, the warden told her to wait in an empty room...

Khushi went inside; the only thing in the room was a table...

Reyansh

Rey was in his room, he was wondering why Taani hadn't come to meet him yet, she normally comes before work... he hoped nothing had happened to her...

Just then a warden came to his room an unlocked it...

"You've got a visitor..." The warden said, Rey sat up with a smile on his face... the warden placed the handcuffs around his wrists and escorted him to the waiting rooms...

On entering the smile was wiped from his face, it wasn't Taani... it was Khushi...She was walking towards him, he hadn't forgotten the interrogation she gave him, he was shit scared of her... but he knew he could not show it...

"Where is Taani?" he asked...

"None of your business..."Khushi replied... "You know what Rey I think prison suits you, how about a few more years in here, what say ummm... about 50 years give or take some..." Khushi said...she was joking but she wasn't smiling...

"What are you talking about? My time is nearly over..." Rey replied...

"Oh I know... I am going to give you two choices..." Khushi played with her words... she held up two fingers... Rey looked at her...

"The first one... you stop meeting Taani... and you leave from here a free man..."Khushi said... Rey looked at her... but he didn't say anything...

"Clever aren't you not wanting to give your choice yet, until you find out the second choice... fine the second choice is you keep meeting Taani, which will probably stop when she realised that you two will never have a future, when you have to live the rest of your life within these four walls... just imagine... no wedding, no children... any girl would run away... right..."Khushi said not breaking eye contact once...

"Get out my way!!!" Taani said as she entered the room behind her were two guards who were stopping her from coming into the room...

Taani saw Rey and ran to him... She hugged him but his hands were still tied he couldn't hug her back...

"Khushi... you won't separate us..." Taani said turning to Khushi...

"Actually it's good that you came here... you can hear Rey's decision if he wants you in his life or not...Rey?" Khushi said looking at him, Rey was looking at Khushi...Taani looked between the two...

"What do you mean?"Taani asked...

"Rey have you made your decision... I'm a busy person you know..." Khushi said...

"You have nothing to keep me in here... I've done my time..." Rey said to Khushi...

"Oh but I do...see the whole Kidnapping scenario was dropped not because Taani didn't want to charge you, because I was doing it for her..." Khushi said...

"You can't charge him for kidnap if I don't give my statement..." Taani said...

"But I have your statement... unofficial of course but I can make it official... I also have our whole case which is full with proof that you kidnapped her... including the video footage of you taking her out of the Plaza and pushing her into the van... that will give you a few years...then I will hunt down your whole past, every single detail and make sure you are charged with enough to keep you in here your whole life..." Khushi said looking Rey in his eyes...

Taani was thinking about how she could get Rey out of all of this... but she could not see a way...She couldn't let Rey be stuck in this jail forever...

"Fine... you win...we won't see each other..." Taani said tears clouding her vision she looked at Khushi...

"Thank you..."Khushi said she looked at Rey who was now looking at Taani...

"We're done here, Taani lets go..." Khushi said...

"Give me a minute..." Taani said... Khushi shook her head a left the room...

Rey turned to Taani...

"We don't have to do this..." Rey said... his hands still tied together...

"Please untie him..." Taani said to the guard who always stands guard...The guard took the handcuffs off of Rey, and then he left the room for the first time ever leaving Rey and Taani alone...

"I'm sorry... but I won't let you spend eternity in this place..." Taani said tears running down her face...

"I don't think I can live without seeing you!" Rey said he was holding back his tears...

"I'm sorry..." Taani said she was about to leave but Rey held her hand and pulled her towards him, He kissed her and she responded... He backed her against the wall and they kissed passionately... his hands all over her... Taani had her hands in his hair...

Part 7

Khushi

Khushi leaned against the car... she didn't want to do what she did but she had to protect Taani...She knew Arnav would be mad if he had found out... She had to handle things herself...

Just then Taani came out...

"Taani!" Khushi called but Taani ignored her and turned the opposite direction...

Khushi decided to let her go... she needed time on her own... Khushi headed back to the Precinct...

Taani signalled for a taxi, she told the Taxi driver the address to Arjun's house... She then sat back and cried the entire trip...

She got out and made her way up to Arjun's flat... she knocked on the door...Arjun opened up...

"Hey, where did you disappear... What's wrong?" Arjun asked...

Taani walked up to him and hugged him; she then broke down crying...

It was a little later on Taani woke up, she realised she was in Arjun's bed, he wasn't there, she looked outside and realised it was sunset...

She got up, she left his room, she saw Arjun trying to make foods with his bruised hand...

"Hey... let me do that!!" Taani said taking the knife from his hand...

"You're awake..." He stated...

"No I'm still asleep," Taani joked although she didn't feel in a humours mood...

"Wanna tell me what happened?" Arjun asked slowly...Taani could feel tears returning to her eyes...

Just then the phone rang... Arjun was closer so he picked up...

"Hello?" He said..."Hey Khushi!" Arjun answered...

Taani hated hearing Khushi's name...

"Umm yeh sure I'll give it to her..." Arjun said looking at Taani he held out the phone...

Taani shook her head... signalling she didn't want to talk to her..

"Umm Khushi... she's kinda busy at the moment..."Arjun said...Taani came over and whispered to Arjun...

"Khushi is Arnav there?"Arjun asked...Arjun then handed the phone to Taani...

"Bhai?" She said...

"Hey, what's going on between you and Khushi?" Arnav asked...

"Nothing... look I'm going to stay at Arjun's tonight ok..."Taani said...

"Ok... are you ok you sound weird" Arnav replied...

"'ill see you tomorrow at work.." Taani said quickly before handing the phone over to Arjun who cut the phone after saying bye to Arnav...

"Sorry, I didn't even ask you... can I stay?"Taani asked

"Yeh... sure... but you have to tell me what is going on..." Arjun said...

"Ok..."Taani said... together they made food and Taani filled Arjun in on what happened...

Next Day

Khushi woke up with her alarm, Arnav was snoring next to her... she got up and headed to the kitchen... she couldn't sleep well last night... she hated that she fought with Taani... and she hoped everything would be ok between the two of them...

She had her coffee and then made up her mind, she's going to go and see Taani... She went back to Arnav's room and got dress..., she then stopped off at her flat to take a quick shower, she was going to go to work afterwards...

She was ready; she took her car and drove to Arjun's house...

Taani woke up she didn't sleep well; because she had slept earlier... she had a pounding headache... Arjun was sleeping next to her... He looked so cute asleep...

She got up and went to the kitchen... she was looking for medicine... for her headache when someone knocked on the door...

"Uh man... whose here soo early!" Taani moaned...She made her way over to the door and opened the door, she saw Khushi...

"You have got to be kidding me..." Taani sighed as she saw Khushi...

"Good morning to you to..." Khushi said coming into the flat..."Where is Arjun?" Khushi asked...

"Sleeping..." Taani replied...

"So are you and Arjun together?" Khushi asked..

"What do you think?" Taani asked... her head was killing her and she was not in the mood for this...

"Well why are you sleeping with him if you guys are not together?" Khushi asked

"Excuse me what are you trying to say?" Taani asked...shocked that Khushi would accuse her like that

"I didn't mean it like that..." Khushi said...

"No that's exactly what you meant to say... How dare you... you have no right to say these things to me... where was you before you got this job... you was a s**t sleeping on the roadside, not to mention the fact that you were pregnant... and couldn't even look after your own baby!!... My brother saved you and made you the women you are today... so before you go pointing fingers at anyone else character... you should take a look at your own!!" Taani said softly back...

"What is going on here?" Arjun said limping he made his way into the room...

Khushi and Taani stared at each other... Without looking at anyone Khushi left the flat slamming the door behind her...

"What the hell Taani?" Arjun said...Taani was crying...

"She had no right to say shit about me..." Taani said tears spilling down her face...Arjun came up to her and hugged her...

"Taani, whatever she said to you, you should not have spoken about her past... you have no idea what she's been through..." Arjun said...

"She doesn't know what I've been through!" Taani said defending herself...

"Shhh don't cry..." He said... How did all of this happen he thought...

He got Taani to sit down and got a glass of water for her... He saw Khushi through the window... leaning against her car downstairs...

"I'll be right back ok..." Arjun said giving her the glass of water..

He left the flat, he took the lift downstairs, he was still in a lot of pain... he went outside and saw Khushi sitting next to her car... she was taking deep breaths...

"Hey..." He said, Khushi saw him and stood up, she turned away and wiped her tears away...

"Are you ok?" He asked...

"I'm fine Arjun!" She said...

"Taani shouldn't have said, what she said..." Arjun started...

"But she did, didn't she... no matter how far I try to run for it... that's my past right..."Khushi said looking at him...Arjun didn't know what to say...

"I have to go... "Khushi said getting back into the car...

Arjun took a deep breath... how did things get soo bad...

He made his way back upstairs, he opened the door... He went inside and saw Taani on the floor...

"Taani?" He ran as quickly as could over to Taani, she had passed out...

Hmmm kushi deserve that
