Zoya
She entered the Precinct...She made her way over to her desk... there she spotted Khushi and Arnav...Khushi was setting up the board... She put up a picture of the lady who had died...
"Zoya perfect... what do you have?" Khushi asked...
"Not much... there were five witnesses... one of the guys was a pain in the ass... but they all said the same... they stumbled across the body... no one saw anyone go near the body or recognised her..." Zoya stated...
"Hmmm... and they all seemed quite genuine?" Khushi asked...
"Yeh... I mean they were all quite older..." Zoya said...she remembered the guy who had bumped into her, there was definitely something fishy about that guy...
"You know what... there was a guy.." Zoya said suddenly...
"What guy?" Arnav asked
Zoya explained about the guy who had bumped into her earlier...
"He was scared... wasn't even looking where he was going?" Zoya said...
"What did he look like?" Arnav questioned...
"Mid 20's he was wearing grey trackies..." Zoya said remembering that guy...
"Do you think if I call a sketch artist, you can remember the face?" Khushi asked...
"Yeh, definitely..."Zoya said...Khushi shook her head...
Arjun
"Arjun!" Purvi called... Arjun looked around to see if Taani had arrived, but she was nowhere to be seen...
"Where is this girl?" Arjun wondered...He followed Purvi into the morgue...
"What's wrong?" Purvi asked...
"Taani... she's a pain in the ass..." Arjun moaned..."She's supposed to be here with me but she disappeared... if Kabir finds out, it will be my head on the plate..." Arjun said...
"Aww you look sooo cute when you're worried..."Purvi cooed...
"Very funny... Anyways what do you have for me?" Arjun asked... he looked at the body, the blood seemed have cleared the body looked a lot more paler...
"Sorry guys I'm here!! What did I miss?" Taani said as she entered the room...
"Just in time... Arjun was about to send out a search warrant for you!" Purvi teased...Taani rolled her eyes and play punched Arjun...
"What's that on your neck?" Arjun asked... Taani looked down... and saw it was a love bite..."Oh shit" She thought...
"Nothing... I was just scratching my neck..." Taani said quickly bringing her hair in front..."Purvi what do you have?" Taani said... Arjun was suspicious but he dropped it...
"Alright, precisely, I would say her death was approximately at 5:15... she has multiple bruises on her arms, wrists and around her neck...but it looks like she tried to fight back, I found splinters in her hand... maybe she had a wooden stick...'Purvi said
"How was she killed?" Arjun asked...
"Strangled from the marks on her neck, there was signs of struggle..."Purvi stated
"There was no sort of stick or string near her at the scene..." Taani said suddenly...
"Yeh there was nothing that could have been used as a weapon..." Arjun replied...
"Do you think she was killed somewhere else?" Purvi asked...
"Could be... but why move her to the park?" Taani asked..."Its open there could be people there..." Taani continued...
"At 5: 15 in the morning, not if they had a death wish... Purvi, check for any other substances, if she was killed somewhere else maybe it will give us a clue..." Arjun stated...
"Ok I will do.." Purvi said...
Arjun shook his head and him and Taani left the morgue...
"You really think she was killed somewhere else?" Taani asked as they made their way back to the car...
"It could be... there were no weapons around..." Arjun stated...
"Maybe the killer took them with him..." Taani stated...
"Could be... but let's hope not... it will make it harder to find him..." Arjun said as they got into the car...
"So do you want to tell me what the mark on your neck is all about... Im not stupid I know what it is..." Arjun smirked...
"I have no idea what you're talking about!" Taani said...
"Sure, fine don't tell me... ill point it out to Kabir..." Arjun threatened... jokingly...
"Asshole..." Taani said...
"Come on... who were you with?" Arjun pressed...
"No one alright... and by the way what about your love life... you're very secretive about that!" Taani said turning back at him...
"Changing the subject..."Arjun started...
"So are you!..." Taani smirked...
"Fine, you don't ask and I wont ask..." Arjun said finally...
"There... we come to a mutual agreement..." Taani smirked...
Arjun looked at Taani who looked back at him they smiled at each other...
"WATCH OUT!!" Taani shouted...Arjun swerved the car
A guy in grey Trackies was nearly hit by the car...He looked back at them
"What the hell..."Arjun said...
"Stop checking me out and keep your eyes in front..." Taani said recovering from the slight shock...
"You wish... "Arju smirked...
They arrived at the Precinct...
"There you guys are..." Arnav said as Taani and Arjun exited the lift...
"Yeh Purvi had some news..." Arjun said making his way over to Khushi and Zoya...
"What did you guys find out?" Kushi asked...
"Our Victim was strangled... she fought back which resulted to bruises on her hand and arms..." Taani started...
"As we didn't find any of the weapon, we were thinking maybe she was killed somewhere else and then she was left in the park!" Arjun continued...
"Who's that guy?" Taani asked as she saw the sketch next to the victim...
"Suspect... He bumped into Zoya about half hour before she found the body!" Khushi explained...
"Taani! Doesn't he look like the guy I nearly ran over?" Arjun said looking closer at the picture...
"Yeh, what was he wearing?" Taani asked Zoya...
"Grey trackies..." Zoya stated...
"That's him..." Arjun said...
"Alright I need to bring him in... he's appeared twice today... find him and bring him in...Arnav, Arjun you handle that..." Khushi decided... Arnav took his gun from the table...
He followed Arjun out of the Precinct...
Khushi turned around to face the board...
