Precinct

Arnav entered the Precinct he wondered where Khushi had disappeared; she wasn't there when he woke up this morning... He sipped his coffee...When Zoya came up to him...

"Just the two of us again? She asked

"Looks like it... I wonder what's going on, something is definitely going on I know it..." Arnav said...

"Yeh..." Zoya said, she knew what was going on, not the whole story but the jist of it...

Just then Arnav's phone rang...

"Hello?"Arnav answered...

"Hey Arnav, it's me Arjun..." Arjun replied...

"I know man, I have caller ID..." Arnav joked...

"Yeh, look I don't think Taani's feeling too good today!" Arjun replied...

"Why what happened..." Arnav asked...

"She passed out... don't worry ill stay with her...I'm just letting you know..." Arjun said...

"Okay look things are finishing up here, I'll come over as soon as I can alright!" Arnav said ...

"Cool.. later man.." Arjun said before putting down the phone...

"What happened?" Zoya asked

"Taani passed out.." Arnav said slowly...

"Whoa... is she ok? Zoya asked...

"Yeh, she'll be fine, Arjun's with her..." Arnav said...

"Look Khushi's here.." Zoya said...

Arnav looked around; he smiled and made his way over to her...

"Hello gorgeous..." Arnav started but Khushi cut him off...

"Not now Arnav I'm not in the mood..." Khushi said...

"But..." Arnav said...

"ARNAV I said not now alright!!!" Khushi said shouting at him, some of the other officers looked around...

"Zoya what happened did the prints match!" Khushi said turning to Zoya...

"Yeh, we got the guy all we need is a confession... he's in the interrogation room..." Zoya said...

"Perfect... I sooo need to yell at someone..." Khushi said stomping of towards the interrogation room...

"She's in a bad mood..." Zoya said... She looked at Arnav when he didn't reply..."Arnav?" Zoya said...

"Looks like things are over here anyway, I'm going to leave alright.." Arnav said...

"Yeh sure..." Zoya said... Arnav grabbed his jacket and left...

Taani... what have you done? Zoya thought...

Arjun's house

Taani was asleep but she could feel someone stroking her cheeks, she opened her eyes a little...

"Hey, sorry did I wake you?" Arnav asked...

"Bhai..." Taani said getting up...

"Hey slow down... before you pass out again..." Arnav said... Taani hugged him...

"Whoa... ok... what's wrong?" Arnav asked concerned about Taani's behaviour...

"Nothing... Im just glad you're here..." Taani said wiping away a tear...

"Why are you crying?" Arnav asked..

"I'm not just... had something in my eyes.." Taani said pretending to rub it...

"Really?"Arnav asked...

"Yeh... I'm fine.."Taani said with a smile, they heard noises from the living room...

"What's going on out there?" She asked...

"There celebrating, caught the guy who murdered the lady... it was her husband..."Arnav explained...

"Good Job Detective..." Taani smiled...

"Thanks but its team work... the sample you and Arjun collected matched with prints Zoya got from Purvi, then we got the sketch of the man, found him, matched it all together and Khushi got a confession out of him..." Arnav explained...

"So come on... get out of this room... lets join the others..." Arnav said smiling...

"I'll be out in a moment... can you call Khushi for me?" Taani asked...

"Sure I'll get her..." Arnav said, he got up and patted Taani on her head... Taani got out of bed... she fixed her hair...

"Hey..." Khushi said as she came in...

"Hey..." Taani replied...Taani walked up to her...

"Look Khushi I am sooo sorry, I had no right saying those things... I really I'm sorry..." Taani said...

"I'm sorry to... I said such stupid thing... I'm really sorry.." Khushi replied...

They hugged...

"Taani... come home please..." Khushi said...Taani looked away...

"You and bhai need your space... I'll stay here with Arjun..." Taani said...

"Did you ask him?" Khushi asked...

"He's my best friend... plus he needs company..." Taani said...

"But you can't stay in the same room as him, you guys are not even together..." Khushi said...

"He has another room, he's just got his gym stuff in there... I'll get him to take his things out..." Taani said...

"Fine... as long as you're happy..." Khushi said hugging her again...

"Thanks... come on let's go and celebrate..." Taani said and together they went into the living room the gang was happy that everything felt like it was going back to normal...

They partied until Arnav decided it was time to go... Zoya, Arnav and Khushi left...

Taani and Arjun had lots of fun cleaning up the living room...

Arnav dropped Zoya home and then as him and Khushi live in the same building he walked her to her apartment... he was quiet and didn't talk to her all evening...

They stopped outside her flat...

"So you're not going to invite me over?" Khushi asked moving closer to him...

"I'm tired..." Arnav said moving away from...

"Arnav, please I'm sorry, I was not having a good day, but it didn't give me right to yell out you! I'm really sorry..." Khushi pleaded...

"I'll see you tomorrow..." Arnav said walking away...

Khushi followed him...

"Arnav I'm going to keep following you until you forgive me..." She teased...

"Really?" Arnav said as he opened his door...

"Yes..." She said hurrying in before he closed the door...

Arnav went to his room...

"Arnav come on yaar..." Khushi said following him into the room...

"Khushi leave I'm going to change.." Arnav said...

"So change..." Khushi said smiling...

"Khushi..." Arnav warned...

"Arnav..." Khushi said sweetly...

"Are you going to tell me what happened today?" He asked seriously

"Later... I promise..." She kissed and he kissed her back, Arnav lifted her up and they went into the bedroom...

Arjun's house...

Arjun was in the kitchen cleaning up the last bits...

Taani came over and sat on the counter next to him...

"Can I ask you something?"Taani asked...

"What's up?" Arjun asked...

"How did you know about Khushi's past?" Taani asked...Arjun stopped for a second but then continued cleaning...

"Khushi told me... ages ago..." Arjun said

"Khushi never talk about her past... she didn't even tell me about it, Arnav doesn't even know the whole truth..." Taani said...

"Arjun how did you find out?" Taani asked again...

Arjun looked Taani in her eyes... she could see a hint of a tear there...

"I am Khushi's past...I was the father of Khushi's unborn child..." Arjun said...

We are at the end of this book, but there is another book coming out called Revealed!!

That story concentrates on Khushi's past and it has flashbacks...
