"dad, did you guys reach ok?" that's great, yes I'm fine I just had dinner and now I'm heading to bed, goodnight i'll call you tomorrow" she cut the phone and she heard a sound near her window. She jumped, she took a cricket bat, as someone got in.. "Hey?" she stopped when she saw the face. "Krishna you frightened the life out of me, what are you doing here?" He was breathing heavily. "I had no, where else to go, can I stay the night here.. please?"

"oh um.. I don't think that is a good idea, she said.

"please Pratigya, if I don't then maybe tomorrow you will find my dead body" she gasped. "don't say such a horrible thing, you know how much that hurts me" she said stopping her voice from cracking. "ok I'm sorry don't cry"

"but I'm in trouble, because I left dealing I just got a death threat" he blurted out.

"oh god Krishna, yes you can stay here, tonight, have you had dinner, I can whip up something really quickly and ..

"shhh" he pressed his index finger to her lips. "yes I have, I just need to crash somewhere" she looked around. "ok there is only my bed, next to me?" he nodded "ok thanks" she nodded. Now she felt self-conscious of her night shirt. Its only thing she bought.. she decided to stop being silly and just get a grip. "ok get changed I'll keep the night light on" he nodded. He removed his t-shirt, he was in just a vest. She removed the covers and slipped underneath them then looked over and said "come" he did just that. "good night" she said and turned her back against him so she was facing the wall. "night" she closed her eyes, what a weird situation she was in.

"are you asleep?"

"no" he replied she turned to him. "so um after tonight where will you go?"

"I've decided to leave, for good" he swallowed

"for good, as in I will never see you good?" he nodded.

"yeah, I have to, I have to go far from here from everything, its for the best right?" she nodded. "I guess so, will you just excuse me I need the um bathroom" she got up and walked to the bathroom, she felt like her world came crashing down, Krishna's leaving, forever this is going to be the last time I will ever see him, all those times we spent together, gone just like that. She felt the tears come fast and hard, she couldn't control them, but she didn't want to make it obvious but she couldn't help it, all this time she was trying to be strong. She opened the door and went back in the room "Hey you ok?" she nodded "hmm?" (tut) "you've been crying I can see it" and that comment just made her cry again she turned away from him and wailed in her hands. "oh honey, he said hugging her from behind. "Now listen to me, this will all be over, hmm?" she nodded. "and you will go back to NYC, to your friends" he held her more closer. "you have nice friends right?" she nodded. "yeah"

"so you will enjoy your life again, you will have fun go collage, graduate and make your mum proud of you, I know you will" " she held his hand, By then we will be a distant memory" he kissed the back off her head. "come" he held her hand and led her to the bed, tucked her in like a child. And she turned to him waiting for him to continue "graduate and then you will fall madly in love with some guy that can give you everything I can't, she turned around and faced the wall, sobbing her eyes out. He rubbed her back "and listen he will be successful, and he will marry you, and you will have his babies, and live happily, come on Pratigya please don't cry, do this for me, you will fall in love again and you will be happy with a guy that isn't me yes?." She turned back and faced him her eyes red and pain consuming her she saw his eyes moist too. "no I want you to be that guy, I don't want anyone else, I want you, just you" she came close to him, "only you" she whispered on his lips, before capturing them. "I too want that I can't imagine tomorrow without you" he said looking her up and down,. she held the side of his face whilst she leaned in and kissed him, she came close and took his bottom lip into her mouth, the kisses got deep and passionate, She climbed on top of him, and began to kiss his bare shoulder and chest. He sighed in pleasure when her mouth pressed on his chest, his hands held her securely on top of him, then he sat up, her legs wrapped around his waist, their mouths glued to each other sharing open mouth, deep wet kisses. He began to unbutton her shirt, seeing her female globes he smiled, "their so beautiful" he lowered his lips to them, and kissed and sucked them, making her ruffling his hair. Their lips met again they were swept in passion. She came close to his ear and whispered. "Make love to me" his eyes widened making him alert of his surroundings. He couldn't be selfish, he had to stop her, it was hard when she constantly caressed his neck with her mouth. "Pratigya" he called and she stopped and faced him "I can't do that"

"what?" she was shocked by his answer.

"I can't be selfish and be that intimate with you knowing I will be leaving you tomorrow". He pushed her off and walked away to the front of the bed. She closed her shirt, feeling dejected. "Selfish? no right now you are being that. "excuse me?" he turned to find he standing behind him.

"yeah you say you love me and yet you won't make me your completely"

"Listen I won't be in your life after today, you really want us to take that step? trust me if I do, then I don't know if I will be able to leave you"

"Then don't " she held his face. "we can deal with this another way you don't have to leave, I can talk to papa and ..

"Listen to yourself!" he removed her hands, "This is crazy I should go, your right this was a bad idea!" he said taking his shirt. He was about to take his shirt, but he could hear little gasps she was crying again, he turned around, "Hey please don't cry, I can't bare to see you like this, please he held her cheek. "this is already hard enough, his tone was soft and gentle. She nodded knowing he was right.

"I guess this is it then." Her face was red from tears. "I won't kiss you , I don't want to give you false hope of anything." Her head was spinning she was beyond puzzled, she wanted to stop him but she didn't know what to do. He took his stuff and went to the open window.

"Will you really be fine walking away from what we had?" he stopped. She took a step forward.

" letting someone else touch me that isn't you?" he froze at her words. "share someone else's bed that is not yours. " Stop it" he said not wanting to hear anymore, she walked closer.

"marry someone that isn't you. He sighed. He was hating every bit of what she was saying, it was really making him angry and sad and she could see it in his body language. She came closer to the window,

M- make love with someone else. She placed her hand on his. "you will really be fine with that?" He felt her hand on his, and he turned his face to her.

"No of course I'm not ok with it your mine, he said putting his bag down. Their eyes met, their hands touched, fingers knotted.

"Krishna, can't even think about the future if your not in it"

"Me either" he finally admitted. "I love you so much" he said in a soft tone, his eyes softened and he kissed her lips, making it clear that he wanted to be with her just as much as she did. "I don't know what tomorrow brings but you are the love of my life, my soulmate" he said touching his forehead to her, cushioning her head with his palm, she closed her eyes, putting her hand on his chest.

"I won't love anyone else the way I love you" their eyes locked, she kissed his lips.

"I feel the same way, Pratigya this might be our last time together I just can't bare to be apart from you."

"me too I can't either" she said getting teary again.

"and if anyone is going to marry you then it will be me" He pulled her forward and gave her a searing kiss, their lips met in the most passionate kisses, their mouths slowly exploring each inch of each other's skin, worshipping each other's naked upper forms. He lifted her up in his arms and into her bed, "are you sure about this I know its your first time" she blinked. "can I ask you a question?" he nodded "of course baby anything."

"The girls you have been with were in love with any of them?" she asked looking into his dark mysterious ones. He smiled softly.

"the only girl I've ever loved, well I'm looking at her right now" he kissed her forehead, and she blushed under him. "that's why I didn't want us to take this step just yet, I wanted it to be special for you" she nodded. "ok if it means that much to you then we won't go any further, I will wait for when that time comes. She nodded to him. "ok"

"ok?" .. I mean yes ok. He nodded getting off her, she sat up and slipped her shirt back on. "so um shall we sleep now?" he nodded fast "yeah but first I need the bathroom be right back. He raced to hide something from her. He was in a need of a cold shower because it was becoming too hot in the room. He held the ages of the sink with his head down just thinking... Pratigya was in the same situation she had to leave the room, she raced down in just her night shirt and headed to the kitchen, she grabbed a glass of cold water and went back upstairs, she drank it was she gathered her thoughts. She turned around to find him standing close behind her. Now he couldn't think straight all he knew was that he wanted her more than anything. "do you want some" he nodded. "I sure would" and held her face and sucked the water off them. She moaned feeling his hands on her butt as the kiss grew . "for someone who is waiting your not making it easier" she said in one breath. "then let's not wait I love you and you love me, that's all that matters" their eyes locked.

He threw the Frisbee, "catch it , run lazy bones" he said as she ran too catch it. "oi who are you calling lazy" she said as she missed it, she tightened her pony tail "you missed it you know what that means don't you?" she smiled cheekily. "I'll give you a heads start. He yelled, She smiled and began running, He ran behind her, getting close, she ran laughing, "got you" he said pulling her down, she tumbled on him and their lips met in passionate kisses as they rolled down on the ground, then came up for air and stopped, He was on top of her, his form between her legs, "I love you so much" he said running his fingers across her forehead. She looked up his eyes, expressing so much warmth. "don't ever leave me again"

"Never i made a mistake I can't believe I was about to give all this up" he said admiring her face. "Never ever Pratigya" they began to kiss. She opened her eyes sitting up hoping he would be stanfinf in front of her, but she knew he never would be, she was dreaming about him again It had been a month since the news of Krishna's demise had come, and she was in a shock state. At first she thought he left without her but in that week it came that he was murdered. Since then she didn't speak to anyone , she kept to herself, Mukesh was worried sick so in a panic he called her mum maybe she can help. Her mum finally got time off work and flown to Malibu. "How is she?"

"she's in her room" Shraddha nodded, as she put her suitcase down. She opened her daughter's room.

"Mum you're here?" she nodded. "your papa called me, I heard the news" she was quiet.

"your papa told me, you and this Krishna guy"

"I can't talk about this" she said with tears in her eyes. "I loved him so much mum" her mum took her into her arms. "I know your papa mentioned something, also that he is was dangerous" Pratigya looked up. "what?" No!" he wasn't he was just led astray he had a heart of gold" she sobbed walking to the bathroom and shutting the door. Her mum had never seen her so broken.

"Shardha I don't know what to do, this news has come as a huge shock, that's why I had to call you back , she isn't eating properly, she isn't talking, she just stays locked up in her bedroom. "Mukesh she was involved with someone how could you not know about this, I left Pratigya with you so you look after her, how could you allow her to get involved with a drug dealer like Krishna!"

"oh so this is all my fault, in NYC you are seeing what she is up to 24/7 is it?" he felt bad after all she had been bringing her 2 kids up without his support.

"Look us fighting isn't going to help anything, as her parents we just have to be there for her"

"your right, and also I think we should call a doctor, just to check her that her health is ok, you said she wasn't eating well?"

"I'll make the call" said Mukesh. Shortly the doctor came. She checked Pratigya with her mum present. She wasn't really paying attention when she was taking her test.

"Well its nothing to worry about, your blood pressure is fine, but your iron is a little low, during pregnancy you should really take care of your health. Pratigya's head snapped up. "I'm what?"

"Doctor she's..?"

"Pregnant, I can't say 100% but I'm pretty certain you are, have you been late?"

"yes but I thought that's just stress"

"not in this case, I will call with the result in the afternoon and confirm these tests"

"thanks doctor I'll walk you out, and can you keep this news between us, I don't want Mukesh to know yet." She doctor nodded. Pratigya didn't know what to think.

That afternoon she got the news that her test was indeed positive. She cut the call she was a little shocked. Her mum came in. "what's the verdict?"

"It's confirmed I'm pregnant" she said. Her mum shut the door. "for goodness sake Pratigya, how did you get yourself in this sort of trouble.

" I don't know, we did it just the once"

"well once is all it can take.. I can't believe this is happening" she looked to her mum.

"you can't believe? What do you think my mind is going through" she looked to her daughter.

"I'm sorry I just.."

"no mum, I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout, I'm quite tired actually, I think I'll have a lie down"

"ok" she replied and left her to it. Pratigya just tried to gather her thoughts, she lied down and placed her hand on her tummy. What am I going to do?' she thought.

"No, way I can't believe you are asking me this"

"Pratigya you have your whole life ahead of you , you can't seriously think of having this baby, ad that too a criminal's child"

"criminal? ok I can see dad has got to you with his theories, but Krishna told me everything, he was not bad, his brother Shakti he is, he is the devil, I bet its him he killed Krishna, and now my child with grow up without a father" she sniffed, trying to hold the tears back.

"your going to have this baby, have you even thought this through?"

"I loved Krishna but he's gone and now the only thing of him left that I have is this baby inside me. there is no way that I am getting rid of it and mum I can't believe you would even suggest such a thing. She slammed her room door, and took the stairs quick. "Beta?" she dad called but she ignored him and left the house. "Leave her, Mukesh there is something you need to know"

"Yeah Shraddha?" She filled him in on everything.

"Pregnant at such a young age, what sort of life is she going to have" shouted Mukesh.

"well I think I should take her back to NYC tonight maybe once she reaches there she will see her friends and realise that terminating the pregnancy is the better option.

"have you told her about the job offer in Atlanta?"

"I can't take that now, I have to look after her properly, I'm going to tell them that I don't want it"

"no don't, I have an idea."

"I'm going to start work in San Diego Varun can come with me, and Pratigya can go stay with your sister in Arizona that way you can save your reputation in NYC and she can get over his death ." said Mukesh.

"Hmm you know that's not a bad idea at all, let's see what she says when she comes back from her walk. Her walk was not the best idea, everywhere she looked she just relived the memories, she looked head to the shore. She rubbed her tummy. "Hey little one, this is where i met your daddy" she smiled. "He was the one" she sniffled as the tears started. Shortly she came home, and they all agreed upon the plan. That day Pratigya went back to NYC with her mum, and Varun stayed on with his dad. Shraddha hoped her daughter would change her mind but it didn't she was determined to keep this baby. She left for Atlanta and Pratigya left to go stay with her masi.

A secluded little cottage .

"Any news yet?"

" yup one healthy 8 pounds baby boy born this morning"

"congrats dude you've got a son" Krishna smiled. He couldn't believe it his Pratigya gave birth to their baby.
