CHAPTER 9

FEW DAYS LATER

A very beautiful lady wearing a frock was moving through the airport. She came to the canteen and saw a man sitting on one of the tables with another girl. She went upto him and shouted, "Chaar din se ek kaam dia hai...ab tak hua nahi na?" The man, without looking at the girl, bit his tongue. The girl continued, "Oh ya main to bhul hi gayi thi, ki Mr. Salluja to king hai, ye kyun koi kaam karenge bhala...right?" Another girl, who was sitting with Akash asked, "Konsa kaam Akash? kya nahi kia tumne?" Akash smiled and stood up and said, "Kuch nahi Nats bus aise hi...aur Ananya tum mere saath aao." Saying this, he dragged Ananya to a corner. Both reached to a lonely place and then Akash asked, "Tumhare andar akal nahi ha kya? Nats ke saamne hi shuru ho gayi...use doubt ho jaata to?" Ananya made a weird face and said, "Mujhe bohot ache se pata hai ki us maharani main kitni akal hai...aur rahi baat chillane ki to aur kya karun? Kabse ek chota sa kaam nahi hua hai tumse." Akash gave fed up looks and said, "Main kar dunga aaj...abhi tum jao." Ananya looked at him angrily. Akash joined his hands and said, "Please Ananya..." Ananya pointed a finger at him and warned him, "Aaj agar nahi hua na to dekhna phir tum..." Akash nodded and Ananya left.

Later that day, Akash came back to the DIB Headquarters and straight away went to Ananya. He found her sitting in her chair and doing something on her laptop very seriously. He came and stood beside her. Ananya, without looking at him asked, "Kya pata chala?" Akash bent a little and said, "Vo kuch khaas to nahi par haan itna zaroor pata chala ki vo log kuch Wanderlust se related hi karne waale hai...baaki kuch codes mile hai, vo main ek do din mein decode karke tumhe batata hun...kk?" Ananya stood up and said, "Ohk fine...krlo jab tak hota hai." After some time both of them left for home.

One day, while Ananya was coming back from airport after her flight, she got stuck in traffic. While she was waiting for it to get cleared, her phone rang. She grew white when she read the callers name. Actually, it was Rohit's call. The convo -

R - Hello love!

A - (in a trembling voice) Kya hua?

R - vo to mujhe puchna chahiye na ki kya hua? Naya bodyguard assign kar lia tumne to...

A - Matlab?

R - arey vahi!! Tumhara Akash.

A - Vo mera dost hai and its none of your business!!!

R - Oh dost! To kya tumne use hamare rishte ke bare mein bataya?

A - (Scared) Khena kya chahte ho?

R - Khena chahta hunk i tumhara ye cute sa secret agar main use bata dun to?

A - Thik hai jao! Darti nahi hun main tumse...

R - Are baapre!! Darti nahi ho...not bad han? Vaise bhi kyun darogi...afterall pyaar jo karti ho..kyun?

A - Main tumse pyaar nahi krti.

R - Oh acha! Chalo maan lete hain...par vo to karta hai na? Apni bahen se?

A - Meaning?

R - Meaning ye my love ki ab tumhari marzi hai...aaj raat tum mere ghar ya uski bahen...

Saying this he ended the call. Ananya thought about Anshi and grew pale. She didn't knew what to do. She said to herself, "Maa ko call karke bataya to vo mujhe kabhi jaane nahi dengi par main Anshi ki life ko risk main nahi daal sakti...par agar na bataya to main kuch nahi kar paungi...kya karun??? Hann message kar deti hun." She nodded her head and sent a message to her mom informing about her situation and drove to Rohit's house.

Akash was quite tensed and was moving back and forth in his house. Anshi came to him and asked, "Kya baat hai bhai? Kaafi tensed lag rahe ho?" Akash looked at her and said, "Teen ghante ho gaye hai Ananya ki flight ko land hue, airport se bhi mikal gayi hai par abhi tak ghar nahi aai...upar se phone bhi nahi utha rahi." Anshi too got worried and after some time she said, "Aap uski mom ko call kyun nahi karte? Shaayad unhe kuch pata ho?" Akash too found this idea nice and decided to call her mom. As soon as he picked up the phone, it rang. It was Ananya's mom's call. The convo -

N - Hullo! Akash jaldi se Rohit ke ghar jao...abhi.

A - Kya baat hai aunty? Kya hua?

N - Are vo Ananya ka message aaya tha...(she told him the whole thing)

Akash's expressions changed from confused to horrified ones. He immediately disconnected the call and ran out of the house leaving Anshi in a confused state.

He ran as fast as he could to the parking area and drove towards Rohit's house. Luckily to him, Rohit and Ananya had just met because Rohit was busy in something before that. Akash ran into his garden where both of them were standing and Rohit was about to hug Ananya. Akash grabbed his collar and threw him on the floor. The security guards ran towards him and he grabbed Ananya's hand and both of them climbed the wall and ran.

After they got out of the place and reached a safe place, Ananya shouted, "Tumhe aane ko kisne kaha tha? Sab kuch kharaab kar dia...main handle kar rahi thi na? Kisne kaha tha hero banne ko?" Akash turned to her and said, "Main itni raat ko aaya, tumhari jaan bachai aur tum mujhpar hi chilla rahi ho?" Ananya said, "Tumhari help nahi maangi thi maine, now just leave me..." Saying tis, she started walking. After some time, she heard a honking sound. It was Akash. he said, "Abhi ke abhi andar aao." Ananya ignored him and continued to walk. Akash said, "Tum aise nahi maanogi.." Saying this, he stepped out of the car and went upto her and picked her up by her waist. Ananya started shouting and beating Akash but all her efforts were useless. Akash placed her on the car seat and he went to the driver's seat. Ananya tried to open the door and after trying for sometime she said, "Ye khul kyun nahi raha hai?" Akash smirked and said, "Child Lock." Ananya sighed and made a face.

After they reached home, Akash made her go to her room and told Anshi about everything. Anshi was shocked to hear this. She asked, "Bhai main ek baar usse baat karlun?" Akash said, "Give her sometime Anshi...kal kar lena." Suddenly they heard Ananya's voice. She was calling Akash. Akash and Anshi ran to her room and asked, "Kya hua?" Ananya showed Akash a message on her mobile. Akash read it out, "Aaj jo bhi hua vo thik nahi hua...ab tum dekho main kya karta hun." Ananya said, "Tumhe nahi pata Akash ki tumne kya kia hai...you have invited problems." Akash just looked at Ananya and Anshi.
