CHAPTER 11

Akash and Ananya were standing with their boss and were discussing about the case. Suddenly Akhilesh asked, "Akash! ye jo Rohit ki wife hai...I think iska bhi kuch connection hai is case se. What do you say?" Hearing Rohit's wife's name, Ananya's expressions changed and she, reflexively said, "Nahi Sir! Uska koi connection nahi hai." Both Akhilesh and Akash were shocked at this sudden reply. Akhilesh asked, "Tum itni confident kaise ho?" Ananya realised that she has committed a mistake. She got panicked and started thinking of an appropriate reply. But to her utmost surprise, Akash answered on her behalf. He said, "Sir vo actually humne jo kuch bhi abhi tak info nikaali hai...usmein uski wife ka koi role nahi tha." Akhilesh nodded and said, "But still, i think you should keep an eye on her." Ananya and Akash nodded and the meeting was over.

Both of them had an off today so they decided to head back home. On their way back, Ananya noticed that Akash was not talking to her. Every time, she said anything, all he did was nodding his head. When they reached home, Akash entered their flat and immediately opened a drawer, took out a rope and picked up his gun and did something that was the most unexpected that too at such a point of time. Ananya locked the door and as soon as she turned, Akash picked her up and made her sit on the chair and tied her down to the chair. All this time she was screaming and even tried to beat him but all her efforts were useless. After tying her down, Akash pointed the gun at her and asked, "DIB mein kyun aayi ho?" Ananya was boggled and such a stupid question. She asked, "Tumhe kya lagta hai? Aur ye kya kar rahe ho?" Akash was in no mood of listening to her useless and indirect answers. He again asked, "Jitna pucha hai utna bolo. Rohit ne bheja hai na tumhe? Vahi to main sochun ki aakhir use tumme itna interest kyun hai...ab samajh aaya ki use kya tumhe bhi usmein bohot interest hai...And you know what tum jeet gayi...mujhe use karne aayi thin aa yahan...phasaane aayi thin a...right?" Ananya looked at him with wide eyes and asked in a low voice, "Kya bol rahe ho Akash? what do you mean? Use? Tumhara? Main tumhara use kyun karungi?" Akash kneeled down and said in cute yet harsh voice, "Of course! Tum mera use kyun karogi? Tum to bohot innocent ho? Hai na?" Ananya was getting impatient. She said, "Tum khena kya chahte ho...seedha seedha bolo." Akash smiled and nodded and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with a file. He then sat in front of her and showed her a Driving License and asked, "Ye dekhne ke baad tumhe sab kuch khud samajh aa gaya hoga." Ananya was shocked, scared and confused, all at the same time. She couldn't understand what to do. She simply asked, "Tumhe ye kaha se mila?" Akash sighed and told her.

22 HOURS AGO

After hearing to the one sided convo, Akash was damn confused. He decided to investigate a little before he asked Ananya about it. Slowly, he went to her room, while she was sleeping. He took her mobile phone and checked the call logs. He found that the person Ananya was talking to was none other than Rohit. Next question that came into his mind was, "What was the RELATION that Ananya was talking about in her call. He decided to take out information and check Ananya's baggage. While he was going through her wardrobe, saw a small envelope hidden behind her clothes. He took that envelope to his room and when he opened it, he was shocked to the core. There was a driving license in it and name written was:

MRS. ANANYA ROHIT MAFATLAL

Ananya asked, "Tumne ye baat sir ko kyun nahi batayi?" Akash said, "Main koi drama nah chahta tha...I knew that vo tumhe trust karte hai." Ananya said with tears in her eyes, "I didn't knew kit um mujhe bilkul trust nahi karte...i know tumne jo dekha usse tum shocked ho but this is just one side of the story." Akash said, "And may I know that what is the OTHER side of the story?" Ananya cleared her throat and said, "Ye baat sach hai ki main Rohit ki wife hun. Par ye bhi sach hai ki ye shaada dhoke se hui thi. I told you ki mere papa ka accident hua tha...actually unka murder hua tha. Jisne unka murder kia tha vo aur koi nahi balki Varun and Rohit ke dad the. Phir maine batya tha tumhe ki kaise main Varun se mili. Uswaqt mujhe nahi pata tha ki vo kaun hai. Rohit se bhi meri mulakaat tabhi hui. Vo actually...vo mera boyfriend tha. Usne apni jhooti family dikha kar mujhe usse shaadi ke lie raazi kar lia. And then mujhe pata chala about his real identity. Mujhe unhone bataya ki un logon ne mere dad se 15 lakhs maange the. Just because they thought ki dad rich the. Dad ne jab paise nahi die tab unhone unhe maar dia. Maine unse deal ki thi ki main unhe paise de dungi lekin uske baad Rohit ko mujhe divorce dena hoga. Bohot mehnat ke baad kisi tarha paise ikathe karke maine unhe dia but..."

"Unhone tumse kaha ki vo divirce to nahi denge par tumhare paas ye option hai ki tumhe uske saath nahi rehne parega"

Akash finished her sentence. Ananya was shocked and asked, "Tumhe kaise pata?" It was then, the serious expression on Akash's face turned into relieved ones and smile formed on his lips. Ananya was getting more and more scared and confused. Looking at her expressions Akash said, "C'mon Ananya...tumhe kya lagta hai k main ek cheez ko dekh kar puri kahani bana lunga...maine us license ko dekhne ke baad tumpar puri research ki thi.." Ananya was still confused and asked, "Agar sab pata tha to is tarha mujhe baandhkar dara kyun rahe the?" Akash sat on the couch comfortably and said, "Oh vo! Vo to isiliye ki maine socha ki ek baar tumne bhi isi tarha mujhe baandha tha...to kyun na badla le lia jaye?" Saying this, he winked at her and Ananya shouted, "Akash! main tumhe maar daalungi." Akash stood up and said, "Phele khari to ho jao." Saying this, he left laughing and Ananya jumped on her chair.

At night, Akash was sitting in the balcony, when Ananya came to him and sat beside him and asked, "Kya soch rahe ho?" Akash looked at her and said, "Kuch nahi." He sighed and suddenly asked, "Ananya ek baat batao? Tum vo license apne saath lekar kyun ghumti ho?" Ananya smiled and said, "Vo bhi meri ek identity hai...legal identity...to use apne saath rakhna to chahiye...na jaane kab zarurat par jaye...mujhe kya pata tha ki yahan phir se usse paal par jayga...mujhe nahi pata tha ki usne Wanderlust kharid liya hai." Akash looked at her for long time and then asked in low voice, "Tumhari life mein itna kuch ho gaya hai...phir bhi tum itni normal ho...kaise?" Ananya smiled and said, "Akash tum aaj jahan ho vo isiliye kyunki tuhaari life tumhe yahan layi hai...but main aaj yahan hun kyunki main apni life ko yahan layi hun...dono baton mein chota sa difference hai but this difference makes all the difference! Think about it." Saying this she left.

Akash looked towards her and said to himself, "This girl is amazing."

"And somebody is in love."

"I think so." Akash realised what he said just now and looked towards the direction of the voice with a jerk. He was boggled to Anshi who was giggling and she said, "Bhai vaise mujhe apni bhabhi pasand hai." Akash said, "Chup kar!" and left.

Ananya called her mother and told her about the whole incident with Akash. her mother in the end said, "Akash acha larka hai...tum dono bohot aage jaoge...vaise bhi tu maan ya na maan u are in love with him." Ananya was irritated by this and said, "Maa please bus karo!" and disconnected the call.

That night both Akash and Ananya slept thinking about each other.
