I'm here 😆
Be back soon.
...
I'm just incredibly happy right now.
I adore the way you write kids, Mira! Somewhere between the lines, you put in some seemingly innocent but powerful words that make me pause for awhile. I look for these places. It reminds me time and again to stop doing things for others, to not give in to the pressure of expectations that others have from me. To just breathe and be the person I am. Be silly. Be expressive.
I'm 18. My mind is screwed ALL the time. So trust me when I say this, reading throught this ff is a calming process. It is like stepping out on an early autumn morning to take in a long breath of cool air. It clears your mind. So, thank you Mirabell. For giving that to a reader.
Back to the story (I try very hard to not digress but end up editing my comment thrice. Thrice.), I felt like the lunch was taking place in my dining room. And it was fun! I love love Arnav and Meera's bond. It gives me all the happiness, really.
But this update was all about Arnav and Khushi's little afternoon siesta. After all, It is not everyday that Arnav Singh Raizada got to walk the streets of New Delhi with Khushi Kumari Gupta. ;) It told me a lot more about the relationship they once shared and that picture looks lovely. It makes me all the more eager to go back into the past and see for myself those beautiful impulsive moments in time.
Coming over to what really completed this part of the story. The hug. That one moment when the three of them were connected. If I were Khushi, or Meera, I'd feel unsure but guarded. Safe. And definitely not alone. Because I can see that's what Arnav wants to give to them. Both of them.
There's a gap Khushi has to bridge. A gap Meera as a kid doesn't have to worry about because she's probably past that which has lead her to make room in her heart for one more person. To take from that person what she knows she's missing in her life.
And I'm glad there's a long way to go because that means I get to read more such updates from you that are laden with precious words. Words I take back with me most of time, even after I've shut off the computer.
Keep writing, M.
Lots of pyaar,
Isha.
