Hey Sandhya,

Two facts stood out for me in this part of the update.

One, Anju, Akki and Kuku's profound friendship.
Even today Aakash is apologetic that while Anju and he were enjoying their 8th birthday party, Khushi had to keep herself within the confines of the kitchen. Just a few reminiscences, after 20 long years of severance and both the friends seem to have emerged from their armoured selves and broken free. Khushi has blossomed like a flower. Aakash has opened up to her, and she being neither a Raizada nor anyone from his order of people, has been able to hear him without any preconceived notions ... the first steps towards letting go for Aakash. It's as if Anju has disappeared physically but she very much exists today as a bond that links Akki and Kuku.

Two, Payal and Aakash's relationship.
Both of them young, studying in the same college, assuming they know each other enough to rush into a marriage. Realising too late that marriage isn't all moonlight and roses. And while coming together is a walk in the park, it's the staying together part that is a balancing act between compromises and tenacity.

👏 for the info on Act 498A. Shows how the inadequacy in the way certain laws are formulated can result in gross abuse of the code.

Sometimes and some people it is so easy to pick up and start over. Especially the friends you make at an age when you are incapable of dissecting and conducting an autopsy on what should define friendship.
Its so gladdening to read about such friendships..definitely more when there is no burden of romantic angle involved😉
I wish it were more easy in the grownup world to make and keep such relationships.
Khushi's loyalty is absolute in believing in her childhood friend enough to still get Lavanya and him together.
Cool job with this chapter... :)

I was wondering where our Hero was but he wasn't far behind was he? He was there all along!

Akash I'm sure your sun will rise soon thanks to the girl who is going to accompany you and Khushi in the next trip!

Funny how some people use certain things which are for protection against women who are actually disturbed, for all the wrong reasons and the innocent ones are blamed!

And then you have fun scene did arnav actually cross and jump over? That would have been a sight to behold :P

. Akash is fun I mean the way he pulled arnav off one pit and dropped him off in another lmao!

But wait are ArShi starting on a new friendship journey here? I'm loving it!

wow! another beautiful chapter.

You have brought out a good friendship of two lost souls so well. They are bonded by Anjali.

It was so nice to see the way how you have described their outing to the lake. And the presence of Akash has changed Khushi and bringing out the chirpy girl in her out again. The way they reminisce their old memories. Hats off to your writing.

And to read about Akash's past. Fate! there are so many kind of people in this world. Some are really affected and need the law to protect them and some take advantage of the loop hole in the law for their benefits.

I like the way you have made Khushi un judgmental.

Now we know why Arnav was devastated when he found out Khushi was a reporter. Their bad past experience with the media has brought out that fury in him.

I hope Khushi or Akash make Arnav understand.

Loved every bit of it. But missing the Arshi moments 😉 (fight or no fight)

Looking forward for the next part eagerly.
