Mirabell, I am so glad you allowed to set free the writer in you. Though there is something which is rather reminiscent of Meera30, there is is a lot in there that is wonderfully different and quite very much yourself and not her!


I love the way you've set the scene for a story with a past that was left behind but has now come back and somehow going to bloom into life. What happened to separate them, what was their relationship? You've left us very intrigued. Both clearly share a history that they've locked up for a while,but now the genie is out of the bottle, they can't possibly put it back.

Meera Gupta Krishnan is complete bundle of joy, totally adorable. How could we all not fall in love with her the instant she burst in?😊 I am so glad you have given her some of Nk's features and not made her spitting image of her mom. NK lives in her, not just through his genes and upbringing, but through some of his physical features too.

There was something that reminded me of the Brontes in the very first paragraph.

Don't know why the combination of the title 'second chances' and your name Mirabell struck a chord and I gave in to the impulse to read the chapter. Am so glad I did.

Let me start by saying, you are a beautiful writer. I haven't read a prologue in so long which captured my fancy like this one did. The mental contemplation on whether to knock or ring the bell, the initial awkwardness to the adorable thing called Meera, your writing made it all come alive. Something happened between A and K ten years ago and I am excited to know what.
