if this is your penultimate chapter, then this is your best yet! Wow. As a reader I do want to thank you for not leaving us hanging midway through your update.. It was with trepidation that I kept reading and was expecting it to end.. but you gave your all and for that.. I do thank you! Gratitude expressed.. :)
I was a little upset with Arnav's and Khushi's conversation, his reticence and her insistence.. but now that I have read the entire chapter, I have to say that it was necessary. They had to make mistakes and learn to navigate through those mistakes. Isn't this life's biggest lesson with not just our lovers, but with all our loved ones? You did a wonderful job of not compromising in their fight. Sometimes, authors tend to write what "ought" to be rather than what "is"... That gritty, untenable reality is often difficult to write. You have done such a great job of proving your grit as a writer once again by making that fight real and difficult.
Acha.. so what happened between Anjali and Arnav? Will you get into that? :) I have always admired that relationship.. mostly because of Anjali's ability to see through Arnav's invulnerability... But whatever you decide, I will be happy with.
The exchange between Arnav and Garima was heart wrenchingly awkward and bittersweet. I felt bad for both of them. It was also a very beautifully crafted exchange.. He could see Khushi's mother in her and she could see Ahalya's son in him.. That was a gift for both of them.. :)
