PART 24

"kya wajah hai is muskurahat ki
khusi ki hai ya taane maarne ki
galti hai koi is naachiz ki
ya fir imetehan ho gayi intezaar ki"

"this is not a taunt smile. I was thinking of your words", she said coming two steps towards me.
"i dont I have ever said something like that", I did the same and we were straight infront of each other.

She grinned again and turned back towards sea and sat there.

"you have forgot but I still remember all those words", she said managing her hairs and looking towards me.

I went and sat closely besides her.

"you can live I cannot go, you know I caught you from those words. You became what you wanted to be but I cannot find the same person I met 8 years ago", she yelling placing her palms on her knees.
"that person is lost sanyu", I said placing my botg palms on sand behind my back.

"but why, have you lost your originality to find a new tomorrow"
"its nothing like that. I was never arrogant or behaveless or simply YAM in your language"

"you can share, for me you are my best friend and you know that", she said placing her palms on mine and nodded her head.
"and for me you are my only friend", I replied.

I pouted a small curve to my lips and she was expressionless.

"bring back your expressions, I am YAM, not you. Those suits you fighter URL", I giggled.
"aaa..mm..so say, I am here to listen", she brought back her smile.

"and I am here to say", I raised my eye brows and continued.

"Randhir singh shekhawat. I started my knowing my importance since my first day of school. Unlike every child I never yelled infront of my parents for any attractive object, becuase I knew they had no time. I never yelled not to go to school because I knew no one was there to drop me for school. I never took out my lunch box from my tiffin bag because I knew there would be bread and jam, which I just hate. This was because my mom had no time for me to cook or feed. I never brought my homework to home because I knew my dad had no time to help me or check it out; I finished it in lizer periods or left it for tutions.

Still in this dark life, I had a cool, satisfying, refreshing moon light. I used to forget the dark side of my life, I used to regain my strength, I used to smile and kept the human inside me alive just for one person. Her angelic face, crushing hugs, caring kisses and lovable smile changed my mood in seconds"

"who was she, any friend?", she chuckled making a kiddish face.
"no, she was my GM", I replied

"offo randhir, why your every invocation is an abbreviation. Say it clearly na"
"grandmom, I used to call her GM", I grinned.

"oh I thought", her vision moving here and there.
"you thought, may a best friend or someone I had crush on", I giggled and she made a face looking at me.

I continued..
"actually, she was everything to me. My friend, girlfriend, best friend, mom, dad. Everything to me. Ofcouse she was not educated enough to teach me, not strong enough to cook for me but still she fulfilled every emptiness of my life. She was my superhero"

"oh I see. Everything to you. Oh wait you said was everything. What do you mean? Where she is now?", her concentration on my words was clearly visible.

"mmm.. You must have heard that god call his favourite person very early to spend more time with them", I replied.
"like my maa baba...", a shining drop on her eye appeared and she was looking towards sea.

Her words focessed my vision on her and she peered back. We both were in same state now dropping on tear each from our eyes.

"it means your GM is also", she said.
I nodded and said "yes, she is no more".

I removed my sight from her and gazed towards sea. She clutched ny wrist from one hand and raised my face from my chin towards the sky.

"look there they are. Those bright stars are my maa baba and GM", she said pointing her index finger towards 3 stars.

Gradually we stared down towards each other. Our vision met for a long eye lock.

"wahi noor hai teri aankho me,
jo itne saal pehle dekha tha..
yakin nahi aa raha ki ye wahi hai,
jise kal main sahara de raha tha.."
