Hola Folks!
Before I start irritating you all with my new Fan Fiction, let me introduce myself and my story! 😆 My name is Brishti, you all can call me Brish, or any other nick name you please! This Fan Fiction, is based on Mahabharat character, who are re-born, to lead better lives. The main story, will change a bit, and this story will be an adventurous humourous and suspense story! I will give a short character sketch of all my characters, but I will not say which character from MB it is! That is for my readers to find out! Hope you all enjoy reading!

DISCLAIMER- I respect all characters of the epic Mahabharata, and I dont want to disrespect any, even if I dislike some personally. I hope you all understand.

Character Sketch

Ruchika Sharma - A journalist, passed M.A with record marks, Literature student and super sarcastic. She loves reading mythological fictions, and loves to go to the library, and researches about mythology. She is intesely a Scorpio, a good friend when she is good, but a horrible enemy when she is bad. (I have said I will not mention which character each is, but you all will find out who it is, I mean, who is reborn as her.)

Shatakshi Roy- Ruchika's best friend, and a secret keeper. The whole college has a grudge on her, because of her boyfriend, Anirudh. She is a law student, and loves cooking, and gossiping.

Anirudh Saha- The best student in college, and a pure Capricorn. Quiet and witty, and has immense interest in Shatakshi. A tall and handsome guy, loves wildlife, and can play the guitar very well. A very close friend of Sabyasachi and Ruchika. Very friendly, and loves to give advice.

Sabyasachi Malhotra - An ambidextrous batsman from the Indian Cricket Team, and immensely popular. He is said to have magic in his hands, as he once as a kid, he was the only student in his school, to break the wicket, aiming only there. He was 7 years then. The hottest, sexiest, and the best cricketer of his time. He is from a big family, but seems unhappy with it. Currently in news, for... ;)

Sreelekha Narayan- A South Indian actress, currently holding the top position in Bollywood. She has beautiful eyes, and with beauty, has brains too. Very frequently seen in Cricket matches. Sreelekha loves reading, and dancing. Sabyasachi's childhood sweetheart.

Raj Malhotra- Engineer, and of the quite kind. He is said to be the most honest in his lot. He wears spectacles, and has lot of knowledge about computer games. He is mostly working on mathematical problems, or writing programs in his computer.

Jeet Malhotra- A complete entertainer, and very close to his younger brother Sabyasachi. Sab doesn't need cheerleaders in his matches, he had Jeet! Jeet is a complete Bollywood freak, always into films! He teaches PT in a school.

Nishan and Dev Malhotra- They are twins. Nishan is an interior designer and Dev is a professor. Nishan has a per rabbit called Chiku who he loves more than himself. Dev is more like his elder brother, always into papers, but very intelligent, and a great quiz master.

Angad Kejriwal - A cricketer, or an aspiring cricketer. Son of an Auto driver, but very talented in the bat ball game. A mysterious guy, who still plays with his lucky bat, which is rumored to be cursed, and thus, he is undefeatable when he plays with it. Angad cannot stand Sabyasachi and feels he does not deserve what he has, and the position will be his someday.

Vikrant Malhotra- Cousins to the Malhotra brothers, and a brat! Very very arrogant, and spoilt by his father. Extremely jealous of his cousins.

Vishant Malhotra and Mr Goenka- Vishant is Vikrant's younger brother, and his sidekick. A brainless laughing stock, inspired by his elder brother and Mr Goenka, the uncle of Vikrant and Vishant. Goenka loves to, or has a good hand in the game of chess, and is the main plotter behind Vikrant's misdeeds.

And to complete our Maha character intro, here comes the story stunners, the Urvashi girls. The Urvashi girls is an agency, which sponsors and presents Cricket matches, along with anchor and publicize it. The President of the agency, Parineeti Vijay is a stylish and snobby babe! And to support her, she has her best friend Aishwarya.

Chapter 1

The bedroom was untidy as usual. It was 6 am in the morning, and Ruchika lay asleep in her dreams. She was having that dream again. She moved her head here and there, and gripped her pillow firm. It was a girl, she was trapped in the pages of a book, and everybody around her talked mean about her. 'Characterless.." said one of them. Ruchika did not know who the lady was, but she felt as if she was the one who was called characterless. Ruchika's beautiful hair was in a mess when she woke up, and she tried to recollect what she just saw. A woman, torn and tired, seeked for help, she was trapped by some books, and other weird stuff, and all talked mean of her. And finally one guy came, and there was light fully, and the light vanished the tired girl, and a star fell into earth, as if the light gave birth to a new star. It came at a great speed, and suddenly it fell into the map of India, and Wham! Ruchika fell down from her bed. Thank god, her head was not hurt, she had landed on her waist. "Aaahhh" Ruchika got up and took her pen from the stand. She put it in her mouth and was chewing it, while she brushed her beautiful black hair, and got ready for a jogging session. Ruchika was up till late yesterday watching some movies.

She had lecture at 9-30 am. Ruchika got up, and went her twin brother Rishabh's room. Rishabh was asleep. Ruchika took her keys, and went out. "Ruchi! " she heard. Someone was calling her, and the voice was Shatakshi's/ "Satu!" 'Ruchi my lightning star!" "What are you doing here? Came for an all night date?" Ruchi laughed, while she wore her hairband again. "Nah..I wanted to give you a news."
"Tell me! Now dont tell me something stupid."
"Nah! Its about that author, who you hated."
"Which?"
"The one who made Draupadi into a drama queen."
Ruchika knew atleast 50 such authors who had spoiled Draupadi's character. She tried to recollect her memories of such books. Ruchika had read 4 books last week. Two books about Egyptian mythology, Steve Waugh's autobiography and Palace of-"
"Palace of Illusions?" Ruchika asked.
"YeS!! The one which Ani teases you about."
"She is coming to our college?"
"Yes star! SHe is..."
"I definitely got to check out what she says. I will be at spot by 9-30. Let me arrange my Hamlet-Othello comparison first."
"Ok Ruchi! Meet u in college! Love ya." Shatakshi blew a kiss at her best friend. Ruchika gave a kiss too.

All the agencies, news channels and newspapers were busy today. It had been a wonderful victory for the Indian team, and the century guy was Sabyasachi !!! "Sab we love you" was what the crowd said. It was today that the cricket team would arrive in the Mumbai airport. Press was waiting to take Sabyasachi's interview. But, Urvashi Girls were nowhere to be seen! Ms Parineeti was not there, neither was Kritika or Aishwarya. Meanwhile, there was an hour left for the flight to board. Sabyasachi relaxed on his window seat. Next to him was Rahul, one of the important batsmen of India and a good friend. "You are amazing Lad.." said Rahul. "You too, hunk." Sab whispered, as he took one more chocolate chip cookie from Rahul's jar.
We will have loads of people waiting to greet us at the Airport you know.." Rahul said.
Sabyasachi winked. "Girls...they are all mad after us.." Rahul and Sabyasachi laughed together.
"You know what hunk, I am really happy to have a victory. This will be able to shut the mouths of my cousins."
"Cousins? Sab..not again, you got terribly drunk that day in the hotel."
"No hunk! I won't..I am going back home right?"

"Passengers on board from England to Mumbai, the flight has been delayed. It will not reach Mumbai before 1 pm because of the fog." An announcement was made.
"Rain and Clouds and thunder always help me you know!" Sabyasachi said. "Whoa! IndraDev must be impressed with you."
"Kind of! And I will be able to talk to you for long! Yes! "
Sabyasachi and Rahul high fived.
"So let me tell you an incident about the day i first returned after training to my house..."
Rahul ordered champagne, and they started off with the goody goody conversation in between clouds, while down on Earth, it was tension for the fans and reporters. But three girls were tension free! And they were...ofcourse...
