Chapter 2

"So.." Rahul took a gulp of champagne! "Tell me Saby! About the incident you wanted to talk about..its only 11, we won't reach before 1 pm." Sabyasachi took a chewing gum and started chewing it. "It was the day, we, and our cousins, Vikrant Vishant and others, were to return to Mumbai, from our boarding school in Bangalore. I was very excited to see my mother again." Rahul continued to listen with interest. "We reached Mumbai at noon, and since it was winter, it was a pleasant weather. We all reached home together, and found out that my uncle, Vikrant's dad, had organized a cricket match for us. My coach, Dinesh Acharya, seemed to be approving of this, and he asked me to be prepared. I waited patiently in my room. Mother was outside, in our huge playground. The first person to bat was Nishan, my younger brother. Vikrant was the other team, who were fielding."
"Sab, I can guess that your cousins defeated your brothers, but what about you, and that Bollywood bro of yours?" Rahul asked.
"Yes, my life experienced a challenge for the first time that day. After Bhaiya got into some kind of breaking of red card rule, and fought with the umpire, Acharya went and stopped the match, Bhaiya was thrown out, and it was my turn to bat.

I went into the field and scored three sixes consecutively! My mother looked so proud, and I felt happiness in my heart. Before I was to bat, when I was entering the field, somehow, another cricket ball, was about to fall on me, when Acharya shouted and I successfully hitted the ball, and keeping myself safe from a horrible accident. I suspect Uncle Goenka."
"Okay...and then?"
"Then I scored the consecutive sixes, and Acharya was excited to see me like that. he came into the field and praised me to the core. He said I would grow up to become the best batsmen our century has ever seen, and stuff...when suddenly..."
"Sir, towel and chocolates for you." an Air hostess came in. Sabyasachi and Rahul both fixed their attention on the chocolates.

The Urvashi girls, as I said were tension free princesses. When all the press and media people were waiting in the airport, and a drizzle was already falling, the Urvashi Girls were already at a hotel. This was the hotel where Bollywood's Top babe Sreelekha Narayan was supposed to come for her film promotion. It was really strange, that all three of the main Urvashi Girls were in Hotel Indralok, when all the media and channels were getting wet outside the airport for Sabyasachi and his team to come up. "I bet he will come here.." Kritika said, while she opened her stilettos and kept them aside. "But Lekha is not here yet.." Parineeti said, "And how can you be so sure about her connection with Sab?" "Umm...Pari, I too think Kriti is right. " Aishwarya smiled. "If we see logically, chemistry between these two is in the air since before the tournament. Sab was spotted with Sreelekha at a coffee shop too! I have the pictures.." Aish took out her iPhone when Kritika stopped her. 'That is exclusively ours. Lets not talk about it here." she said, and got back to reading whatever magazine she had in hand. Parineeti nodded her head, and thought about what kind of a gossip they were in, and when this rain would stop, making the flight reach Mumbai.

Ruchika noted down some points from the internet about the author of POI. She took a bite of her fat-free sandwitch, and dialed Anirudh's number. "Morning Sakhi.." a calm voice, drenched into sleep spoke. "Anirudh, I want you and Satu to meet me. I have a lecture at 9-30 but I am gonna give it a chuck. I guess you have off today, and Satu, will be ok anytime. I want to discuss something with you before we visit the literary meet of the author of POI. "Aww my! That book where the girl is confused about her true love right?" "Yeah...' Ruchika said. "Why don't you ask Panchaali herself who she wants?" "Anirudh, meet you! No joking!" Ruchika finished the last bit of her sandwitch, and cut the phone. Anirudh smiled on the other end. "Maddie..lets see what she has in store for us! Or again, instead of her I will give her a lecture." Anirudh said to himself and went up to the fridge. He took out a big slab of white chocolate, and put it in his mouth. "I love milk...aaahhh" he went.

"So..." Sabyasachi put the chocolates in his backpack. "For Bhaiyaa?" Rahul asked. 'Yeah."
"So, between these huge praised I was receiving in the field, and watching Vikrant, my cousin getting more and more jealous, I heard a shout. "NO!" someone said. We all turned around, and saw, that it was a boy of about my age, some years older to me. He wore a Team India jersey, which we find on streets, and had a bat in his hand. The bat was shining and strong. He has a frown on his face. "You are wrong Mr Acharya! You cannot call him the best when there are thousands who dont get the chance to show their talent! He maybe best among his brothers, but not one of the best batsmen yet!" he said, pointing his bat at me.
"Who are you?" my Sir Acharya asked. "How did you come in?"
"My name is Angad, and I am the one you denied to teach because I was the son of an Auto driver."
"You! How did you enter here? What do you want?"
"I seek only some respect! I want to challenge this boy called Sabyasachi! Let's see who is a better player! I too am a batsman. Lets see how many runs he scores, which I will beat for sure! And with the same bowler!"
