...And i know ki tum bhi yehi feel karthi ho. shayad mujhse kahin zyaada ..." her eyes became moist, he squeezed her hands again and moved closer to her, " just trust me taani, ek aur baar and i promise ki aisa phir se nahin hoga"
he could feel her resolve soften .he placed her hands on his chest and moved his hands up to cup her face wiping her tears with his thumb. The tears that she had controlled flowed more as she shook her head and tried to speak , holding his shirt with her hands in a tight grip. Rey felt tears form in his eyes as he saw her struggle within herself and kissed her - her eyes and her tears as if that would wash away her pain , her forehead , her cheeks first one and then another ,all the time cupping her face. he stopped - saw her eyes closed, tears slowed, he sensed her calming down, and kissed her cheeks again. his lips moved to kiss her earlobe as if they had a mind of their own and then to the crook of her neck. He felt her take a deep breath as his lips moved to the shoulder while his hands held her arms close to him and played with her strap. he felt her grip on his shirt tighten more and moved closer to her .
"rey " he suddenly heard her call, softly- as a request , an appeal in the tone that told him that she couldn't refuse to go along with him if he kissed her more , asking him to stop while knowing fully well that she didnt want him to. He stopped , his head placed on her shoulder getting strength from her trust , took a deep breath to steady himself realising that pushing her to accept anything under such conditions wasn't what he wanted and raised his head .
He went back a step, his hands still holding her arms and hers still holding his shirt and said "i didnt mean to..."With the blush on her cheeks still visible, she frowned as she heard the apology in his voice and shaking her head negatively hugged him , her arms around his neck, on her toes. His went around her waist and he pulled her closer.
"is this a yes?" he murmured into her hair
Taani freed herself from his hug ," pata nahin rey...agar phir se kuch ..."
He sighed ," taani mujhe nahin pata kal kya hoga, i don't have all answers. "
as she saw his tired face, all her worries disappeared and she hugged him tightly and he felt the familiar warmth flow from her ; soothing him , calming and comforting , her hands caressing his hair.he forgot everything that they had been talking , all he knew was that this was what he had missed all these months. He put his arms around her and hugged her back eyes closed in peace. Taani felt him relaxing, felt her own tensions reduce in the safety of his arms.
"rey, i .." she called
"taani please don't talk, aisa hi teek hain"
"rey..i.."
"shhh..."
"REY, mujhe i love you kehna hain " she blurted and pulled her self back , hands on his shoulders and faced him blushing.
" yeh yes tha?" she nodded and kissed him on his cheek," can you do something for me then?" she nodded," this hairstyle" and pulled the band holding her hair in a pony, letting her hair fall free ," this is like my girl" he smiled ," kal se mujhe wo irritate karrahaan tha" placed his head on her shoulder in the warmth of her hair , her arms went around his neck
"i missed you so much taani" he muttered

Both sitting on the floor ( imagine the scene as in the first date/ valentines day), taani head on reys shoulder , reys head on hers, both hands entwined in each others and taani s eyes closed.
"taani" "umm"
"sleepy?" " haan par mujhe yahan se nahin jaana" and she settled herself more comfortably on him. he smiled ," i don't want you to go" she smiled eyes still closed
"rey" after a while," ab hum kya karenge?"
"tumhe abhi kuch karna hain?"
She lifted her head up to catch his smile and hit him on chest lightly, he grinned," i don't want to think now. Bas tum jaise abhi smile kar arhin ho waise hi karthi raho" she smiled more broadly and bringing his hand up to her lips kissed it.
"i love you rey "
"i love you too " he kissed top of her head," and don't worry, agar tumhe lagtha hain ki long distance work nahin karega tho...i ll shift here" she was taken aback.
"kya? d3 ka kya hoga?" she scolded . he shrugged but before he could reply, she said " no rey, aisi koi zaroorat nahin aayegi" . As she settled down again on him, she realised their break up had made him more vulnerable than she had thought- maine tho inke baare mein socha hi nahin tha itne mahine, yeh bhi bohot affected rahe hain. par rey jo bhi ho, aapko d3 kabhi chodna nahin padega. Thansk krishnaji, aaj ke liyeplease sab kuch aisa hi rakhna and slept on his chest holding his hand more tight. He smiled- she was so cute, and he wasnt going to let her go ever again.

Late in the night
Both asleep in the same position, rey woke up, smiled feeling taani so close, slowly moved away, picked her up in his arms and going inside, placed her on the bed. She stirred a little as she was separated from his warmth . he put a blanket over her and placed a kiss on her forehead. She opened her eyes sleepily , he bent and kissed her again softly on the lips . she smiled though still sleepy. With her smile reflected on his face, he went out to sleep in the living room.
