Hi there,
New reader alert. I had bookmarked this story for a while now and finally I caught on all the chapters and here I am. I wish I could really comment on each and every chapter, but unfortunately I am hard pressed for time, so will do my best to summarize my thoughts in one go.
The title "Hopes and Ambitions" caught my attention. Even before reading the introduction, I associated Khushi with Hopes and Arnav with ambitions.
I love stories with politics as backdrop and add to the mix a marriage of convenience, coming together of two people from different worlds, who are like chalk and cheese, whose beliefs, values are completely different, it will be interesting to see how they become part of each other's lives, how they make part of their lives and how they will built a life together. There is certain rawness to this story that is keeping everything as real as it can get.
I personally consider it's a challenge to write a story with many characters, give them the focus they require as well as keep the readers interested as well. You are doing a great job of balancing all your characters and developing them. I have them all imagined and housed in my mind, including the settings of the palace, their room, school everything.
Arnav is as brutal, selfish, and impulsive and as ambitious a politician should be. He strictly means business. I think he has completely tuned out the emotional side of him and focuses more on his career, thinks with his mind and never lets his heart rule him. He definitely values and respects his family and they do mean a lot to him, yet doesn't budge from putting them in their places if they try to control him or question his decisions. I guess Dadi is the only who has some control over him.
Khushi is a true reflection of pride, individuality, family values, emotions and feelings. She is somebody who respects and accepts people for who they are. Yet, will not let them run over her emotions or heart even it is Arnav Singh Raizada. I like her characterization, it is very strong. She will not only stand up for herself but for any wrong doing. I am sure she is the person who will show mirror to Arnav.
Looking forward to their journey in accomplishing their hopes and ambitions, together.

What so ever be the reason, cheating is cheating. He after all came to sleep with Lavanya. That actually ends the game. I wish Khushi comes to know real fast about this.
I quite don't understand Arnav. Is he so kinky that out of all the things he chose casual sex to retain from his unattached life? He doesn't want to do mistakes yet he isn't ready to compromise in this area!! Khushi, really has someone umm... healthy to tame when the time comes☺️
"Misguided loyalty towards memories of a ghost" - who?😲
Arnav seems to a person driven by his precipitateness. He wants it or he wants it. How? Wrong or right - discretion isn't his forte but something he has practised in these six years. Yet he lets his injudiciousness lose now and then and we get to see the glimpse of real Arnav. Am I right here, Shweta?
Lavanya is gone but to be back and I know on worst time possible. Not in near future or when you will want to give Arnav, Khushi's relation, a serious rattle. What Arnav did to Lavanya is what Arnav does the best. And I once fell in love this Arnav. Shweta, what are you doing??😭😭
Khushi falling in Arnav's lap was funny. Poor girl is curious, she is clueless and she is scared even. Really she has no weapon of knowledge against this turning-unpredictable-every-second man.
The moment they shared wasn't even attraction. It was pure sexual frustration that Arnav couldn't control and tried to palliate using whatever was available, it was defiantly not for Khushi or with Khushi. I felt gross!! I am feeling no empathy towards this guy at the moment. But he stopped himself and for that, I hate him a touch less.😳
Shweta, please do tell me if I have read them correct. Because I want to be precise with these intricate characters you have so brilliantly created. Seriously I am proud of you👏🤗
PS ; Again thank you? I am going to get buried under so many thank yous😆 You don't have to thank me for anything. I like helping you😊
