~ Chapter 15 - Lets Prepare to Rock! ~

Khushi and Payal, and Arnav and Aakash were out for shopping. But the four were divided into two groups. Of course Khushi and Payal were together! How can boys even think to go for shopping with girls! But if Khushi and Payal were together, and Arnav and Aakash were together, then where was Alia? Yaar...She was relaxing in her own house. When Arnav had invited her to come with him, she clearly said, "No baby, I'll go shopping in the evening. Right now I have a Spa appointment. I think that's more important!" Ameer Baap ki Bigadi Shehzadi!

So there they were! In the Goa's biggest mall. Khushi and Payal had gone through about 12 shops, still finding nothing suitable to wear, while Arnav and Aakash had shopped for everything they needed in just an hour! Girls are girls and boys can never be similar to girls! They had started at about 12:00 PM, and it was about 06:00 PM, when Khushi and Payal had finally found a suitable dress and accessories. And they sat in the food court to have something after the tiring tour of shopping. Arnav and Aakash had already left, on the account that their shopping was done much earlier.

Everything was set. What to wear, where to go, what hairstyle to do, what time to go, etc etc! Day after the next day, was the party. Alia couldn't believe that everyone was SO excited about just a mere Party! For a girl like her, attending parties was as normal as brushing your teeth!

"Khushi?" Arnav knocked Khushi's room door.

"Yeah Arnav" Khushi shouted from inside,"Just a minute."

They were ready for the college. The next day was the freshers party. Excitement buzzed throughout the batch. Everyone were too elated that they hardly cared what was going on.

During the break.

"Khushi? Will you come with me and Aakash or Arnav and Alia?" Payal asked Khushi, as they sat in the canteen.

"Khushi will come with us only" Arnav argued, "I want to show the world that I have two girlfriends!"

"Oh hello! I'm not your girlfriend" Khushi retorted.

"I know baby! But still.. we can pretend" Arnav reasoned her.

"Are you not happy with one girlfriend?" Khushi asked, laughing.

"Then you go with him only Khushi" Aakash advised her, "I'm happy with only one girlfriend" and he side-hugged Payal.

"Awww. You learn from him Arnav" Khushi punched him lovingly.

"By the way Arnav.. Where is Alia today?" Payal asked him.

"She left the college right now. She said that she has to get her legs waxed today" Arnav told her, and Aakash laughed out loud, followed by Khushi and Payal.

"What the hell is there to laugh?" Arnav asked, looking at three of them confused.

"Nothing Arnav!" Khushi said, breaking into fresh giggles.

In the evening, Khushi and Payal were in a salon, lounging over the recliners there, their faces covered with white coloured face-packs and pieces of cucumber covered their eyes. They truly resembled white-ghosts! They were here for their facials - to make them look stunning - though they already are. Surely, a single party is going to cost them much!

Khushi got up early in the morning, only to be greeted by a rainy weather outside. Though the party was in a disc, which was obviously a closed area, still Khushi wished that the rain should subside down till the evening. The whole day was spent with Khushi arranging her stuff, which she would need for the party, and Arnav relaxing around. Every time he would see Khushi moving to and fro in panic, he would just try to relax in a very casual way, "Yaar Khushi, why are you so panicky? You already have your clothes and accessories, so when we get ready, you can take them out. There's no need to turn the whole house upside down for a party!"

And Khushi would always pout at him cutely and mumble "Shut Up!" and again start her arrangements.

In the afternoon.

"No I'm not going to eat anything" Khushi said stubbornly, "My stomach will bloat up."

"Khushi beta nothing will happen. You don't know when you'll be served food at night. So eat something" Ira auntie suggested her.

"Leave it Auntie! She'll not eat. Let her starve till night. Give me some more rice. I'm very hungry" Arnav said to Ira, in a teasing manner looking at Khushi.

Ira served Arnav with some more rice, while Khushi's swallowed another lump of saliva.

"Huh!" Khushi stumped her feet loudly in anger.

"Why are you controlling yourself this much? Come and eat. Nothing is gonna happen" Ira again insisted.

"Ok Auntie. But I'll eat only one piece of bread. Nothing else"

"Haan haan beta"

In the evening.

Khushi changed in her dress, after a long and relaxing bath. The Red colour of the dress complimented her skin-tone. A thin silver-coloured belt adorned her waist. The dress flowed till somewhat till her knees. Ruffles were the ones which added to the beauty of the dress. The sleeves were made of net which covered a small areas of her creamy white shoulders. A simple yet elegant bracelet beautified her wrist. Khushi wore a pair of silver earrings, and left her long cascading hair open, flowing down her back. Stilettos added to her height. With minimal make-up, Khushi looked no less than a Princess. A Beautiful Princess!

Arnav was also ready. Simplicity is what make a guy look like a gentleman. A three-piece black suit, with a white shirt, did nothing but only added to the charm and handsomeness of the Prince! His hair well gelled-up. An intoxicating scent was put on and a black-striped tie was neatly tied around his neck - and he was ready - to make girls faint!

Payal wore a beautiful one shoulder Wine-coloured dress, which had golden beads embedded on its upper end. It was a knee-length dress, which was nicely pleated at its sides, to give a tight-fit look. Payal wore a pair of golden studs and tied her hair into a ponytail. With nice purple heels, and slight touch of make-up, she was ready to attend her First college Party.

Aakash was the only one amongst them who took just 20 minutes to get ready. And it was not that he did not ready himself properly; he also looked dashing! A blue-coloured shirt, paired with black trousers, and a black-coloured blazer, gave him a cocktail-party look. He just brushed his hair once and slipped into black formal shoes. That's it! He was all set.

All in all - the four had readied themselves beautifully to rock the party! Others (including Alia) just added to the background, behind Our stars! [^_^]
