NOTE

Ok Folks! Its time for that post.

As agreed upon in the first post, I have already updated a few chapters. I love the people who have joined this bandwagon and have been diligent in their feedback and support - Thank you!

That said, onto the real concern: I have been seeing a dwindling number of comments and likes. Those who believe this story isn't to their liking have already told me through PMs, but that doesn't cover for the missing folks.

Thoughts? Comments? Post them. Bring your friends and keep this thread active, if you think its a story worth your time.

OMG! I Just read all the chapters that you have written so far...and they are captivating!! I can't even imagine how difficult it must be to portray this in modern times...but you are doing an amazing job! can not wait to read more chapters...I loved the messenger chapter...especially the conversation between Vishwa and Shyama! and obviously the first meeting of Arjun and Shayama!

So a journey begins... You made the differences in their riches strikingly clear, she thinking of a car and him, the public transport. Like Shyama, I think if this were to make them spend some more time together.. And also his Yuvi bhaiya comes in. I'm so eager and excited for this long night or abhi to raat jawan bhi nahi hui!

thanks for posting the poem.

The story is so indulging, it took me some time to comment for it.

I don't know why but I felt awkwardly sad that vishwa and Shyama seperated.

Maybe what she has with Arjun is stronger than that.

For now, your story rocks.

Thanks Hasini for giving us this beautiful story ...

Shyama tries to visualise what her interaction with Vishwa must have looked like to

Arjun who was just a bystander there ... and wonders what his thoughts could have been ...

The difference in their social status is quite apparent ...

But yet she seems quite eager to embark on this unknown and exciting journey with him ...

specially since this alliance has the approval of Vishwa ...

in whom she has explicit faith ...

Am really excited to see where all this journey takes them ... Thanks ...

Hi Lahri,

a bit behind in my reading...

I normally am not this open with my musing but what the hey...i hope u don't mind...

I am still on the shelf with first person narration...and one of it was other than think of Khushi as Sanaya ...if i were to think of her as shyama you have given me no physical attributes and how can u without being crass in a first person...but that you did beautifully with the use of the verse...

now while i know up front that you are retelling draupadis story for sake of my sanity i chose not to see it that way and be entertained by this narration on its own merits...

so saying comes my thoughts on VIshwa...I dont see him as Krishna...and there fore very human...

While I understand Shyama's initial infatuation and then adulation and now a deep kind of love ...that has still got many unfamiliarities to it and yet a kind of respect...I dont getr Vishwa...

his remembering her first entry with detail...and then the conversation there after is very unsettling...

he recognises her infatuation..then ...but it is so much more as it seems reciprocated to a level that's wrong...and then this conversation...choice of meal ...phew mixed messages rampant...then what of his wife...(I know i would not want my hubby interacting with a girl this way protege or not...)

So yes ...I am thus far very much on the fence with VIshwa

and understanding Shyama (who i cannot empathise with)

i know i am one ch behind but will get to it...

After having read the palace of illusions...I was so captivated by it... That was really something you know..

And now never thought that we could have a ARHI version of it too...

brilliantly written must say... It's totally enthralling...

now honestly... Did you want us to fall in love Arjun aka Arnav or Vishwa?!? For I seem to be totally taken by him!!! Hehe...

oh and I love the middle name you have given Khushi... Shyama... Very interesting...

Lahari... You have found yourself a new reader... And an avid one at that..would look forward to the updates...

I just started reading these and must say, ITS AMAZING 👏

The way you have interspersed Mahabharat with the current times and also ArHi along with them is praiseworthy 👍🏼

Kushi/Shyama likes Vishwa & he calls her Sakhi. But they can't be together as Vishwa has a greater purpose and Shyama needs someone who will focus completely on her - this part of the story was soo enlightening - it explains a lot 😊 And her extracting a promise and in giving into it, the way he subtly 'married' her off was sooo beyond perfection The scene in the boardroom was hilarious as well as nerveracking 😃 & when that clip fell, I was yelling at Arnav/Arjun to pick that up - crazy me Some bits are still confusing but I think they will be clearer with the story's progress. If not, I will be bombarding u with my qns 😆

Loved it to bits and can't wait to see how you take it further ❤️
