With just 6 chapters "I AM STUCK" here... I am loving it... You were quick with this update and I couldn't write for the previous chapter... I loved shyama n vishwas conversation... Is that not how every girl feels about him??? No one can help but fall in love with him and she did too... It can't be denied but it would be best to accept and move on.. That's what he asks her to do too...

And the take of how he felt about her on their very first meeting was presented so beautifully... Their first meeting was brought in to bring closure to their chapter... N she did give up for a fresh start with a promise from him to guide her along in the new one...

So Arjun was set up with her for the night and the start just promised that this night is going to be long n lovely... Sarcasm at its best!!! Loving it n now waiting for the night to gain momentum:)

I admire the way you write about Shyama; she is finding herself here and the person she trusts immensely is pushing her towards a man she is warming up to. My concern is the comfort between Vishwa and Shyama, will it be misread by Arjun? He seems collected and unperturbed but, if he is to see Shyama as a potential life partner will he not be influenced by how she interacts with Vishwa who is his Mama after all.

The differences in their ways of living was so crisply put in the update, Shyama expects to be dropped in a car (love the way she describes a car, the Fords and GM folks word be smiling I tell you). Iss raat ki subah nahin???

This is an instrumental piece by Illayaraja for a Kannada movie and I absolutely love it. I went looking for it, thinking this would be playing at the background as Shyama and Arjun spend the hours till she reaches home. Link

As long as you come back I have no complaints ;) But you should know that the next ten updates or so are going to be light and nothing to peruse in the content.

I always read an update more than once, to be fair to the writer, as I have a tendency to miss things and that would mean a half-baked comment.

Light or not, an effort has to be appreciated...it gives me pleasure reading the least I can do is return, the favour with a fair comment. Now if the comment makes sense to you or not is something I have no control over. 😆

I read a few comments about Kushi having moved on too soon and thought I should address it. If you noticed there were a few hints in the first update about her never having hoped anything was possible between Vishwa and her.

Vishwa, my Papa's dashingly young and shrewd business partner, who in my view was the only man worth every unconscionable sin on earth was already married and the others had only turned out to be disappointments even as we would get past introductions. (So she never had hopes for them and had tested the waters with other prospects.)

I had fooled myself into thinking he was my soul mate - it had been easy then (so not now.)

Now too, I undoubtedly believe Vishwa and I are the best mates among others, only at twenty eight I no longer wonder if we were meant to be. (Concluded!)

Without ever meaning to, I knew I was in search of Vishwa in every man I came across

(Isn't that obvious, that we all tend to find the men we are enamored by in our life partners, if given a choice?)

THANK YOU! I loved this poem and this is why I adopted it for Shyama. I so badly wanted to name the character Krsna because of this poem, but resorted to Shyama instead. Posting the poem for others.

She had no covering on her head,
her loose hair had fallen on her back.

as it grew dark under the heavy clouds.
So with anxious, hurried steps,
the dark girl came from her hut.
Raising her eyebrows toward the sky,
she listened a moment to the clouds' rumble.

A gust of the east wind
rippled the rice plants.
I was standing by a ridge,
alone in the field.
Whether or not she looked at me

Vishwa has a larger than life personality and I can understand how hard it will be for khushi not to compare other men with him. Now the stage is set for the dynamic duo to interact - waiting for you to unfold the layers slowly
