Vajramitra was looking at rudra suspiciously. He knows he is up to something.
Vajramitra: rudra, what's brewing in your mind? What are you up to?
Rudra: you'll know soon pitaji.
Rudra calls baldev fondly as kaka
Rudra: kaka, where are those informers? I want to talk to them.
Baldev: They are outside the palace. You want me to call them.
Rudra: no, I will go and talk to them
Baldev: then I'll come with you
Rudra: kaka, I want to talk to them alone.
Baldev: as you wish.
Rudra left to meet them leaving baldev and vajramitra suspicious.
Rudra came outside the palace. Four soldiers were there. He goes towards them.
Rudra: what information you got about videha's princess?
Soldier: we have confirm information that videha's princess is going for their kuldevi's pooja tomorrow.
Rudra: and she is going alone without king and queen.
Soldier: yes prince
Rudra: where is their kuldevi's temple?
Soldier: as far as I know prince it's far away from their kingdom located in a forest name kalpi.
Rudra goes in thinking mode.
Soldier: they'll leave early morning and one more thing prince a bridge comes in between the route of kalpi forest. The bridge is built on alakhnanda river.
Rudra becomes pleased hearing this. He said
Rudra: go and take some rest tonight we are leaving for kalpi.
All the soldiers become shocked hearing this. One of the soldier asked
Soldier (hesitatingly): but prince why are we going to kalpi?.
Rudra: we are not going to kalpi.
All the soldiers looked at him puzzeled.
Rudra: go and get some rest.
All the soldiers left. After they left vajramitra and baldev came there and asked rudra about the same.
Vajramitra: son, you have to tell me why are you going to kalpi.?
Rudra: pitaji, it's time for the beginning of my revenge.
Vajramitra: are you going to kidnap the princess?
Rudra looks at him and smirks. Vajramitra too passed an evil smile and said.
Vajramitra: I am proud of you my son, I am happy that you remember your aim of avenging your mother's death.
Rudra (furiously): How can I forget pitaji. After so many years I have got this opportunity and I won't let it go if vajramitra's daughter is his life then I'll snatch away his life.i want him to go through the same pain which I went through.
Rudra: we'll leave tonight and reaches the bridge before them and will wait for them on the bridge. when they were crossing the bridge we'll attack on them.
Vajramitra watches rudra proudly.
Videha's palace (in the night)
Preperations were going on for journey of kuldevi's temple. Padmavati and shambhavi comes and check the preparations.
Padmavati: why are you going to our kuldevi's temple suddenly?
Shambhavi: I don't know maa, but I am having a strong feeling to go there as if maa kali is calling me. I will go and besides I don't need any reason to visit our kuldevi's temple.
Padmavati (smiles): Now you should sleep. You have to go early morning so it's better to take enough sleep.
Shambhavi (lovingly): ok maa
Shambhavi went to sleep and padmavati watches her lovingly. Vikramaditya came.
Vikramaditya: all the preparations are done
Padmavati: yes swami all the preparations are done
Padmavati becomes a little worried. Vikramaditya asked
Vikramaditya: what happen dear why are you looking worried?
Padmavati: shambhavi is going very far from kingdom for the first time and that too alone. I should be worried.
Vikramaditya makes her understand
Vikramaditya: padmavati, our daughter is very strong she is very much capable of protecting herself. You don't need to worry.
Padmavati: but swami you also heard what that prince said , I am afraid if he..
Vikramaditya (amused): he won't be able to anything and if he do so then our daughter will not spare him, she defeated him earlier and she can defeat him again.
Padmavati got relieved hearing this and they went to sleep.
Mahisha's palace (late night)
Rudra was getting ready to go. Sameeksha came there
Sameeksha: rudra, where are you going this time?
Rudra: why are you still awake? Go to sleep.
Sameeksha: but where are you going?
Rudra: it's none of your concern. I am going for an important work.
Sameeksha: but it's very late, you can go tomorrow.

Rudra left and sameeksha sadly watches him going. He goes to meet vajramitra. He took vajramitra's blessings and leave. Vajramitra watches him going.
Videha's palace (early morning)
Shambhavi was getting ready. She was wearing a dark green lehenga with red dupatta. She was searching for something. Padmavati came there.
Padmavati: shambhavi, what are you looking for?
Shambhavi: maa have you seen my anklets/payal. I can't find them anywhere. You know I never go anywhere without wearing them. You know how much I love these anklets.
Padmavati (smiles): are you talking about these anklets?
She shows them to shambhavi and shambhavi becomes surprised seeing them in her mother's hand.
Shambhavi : Maa, from where did you get these anklets?, I have been searching for them everywhere.
Padmavati: I wanted to give these to you so I took it from your jewellery box last night.
Shambhavi smiles and wear the anklets. Two of her daasis were also going with her.
Vikramaditya, padmavati , shambhavi and raunak were outside the palace.
Vikramaditya: take care of yourself daughter.
Shambhavi: I will pitaji. Don't worry I'll be fine.
Shambhavi hugs vikramaditya, padmavati and raunak and left the palace in her horse carriage with some soldiers. Vikramaditya and padmavati watches her going happily.
Rudra and his soldiers reaches near the bridge. The bridge seems very old and dangerous. The alakhnanda river's flow was also very fast. Rudra inspects the bridge and then ordered his soldiers.
Rudra: Hide near the bushes and when the carriage came we'll stop their way and attack on them. All the soldiers followed rudra's instructions. They hide near the bushes and waits for princess's carriage. After waiting for few hours they saw a carriage coming.
Rudra: Be alert they are coming.
In the carriage
Daasi: princess we'll reach soon right
Shambhavi: yes it won't take much time to reach there after crossing the bridge.
Shambhavi carriage was about to cross the bridge but stopped by rudra's soldier. Rudra was watching all this from a distance. Shambhavi was wondering what just happened.
Mahisha soldier: wait, you will not cross this bridge. We won't let you cross this bridge.
Videha's soldier: who are you? And how dare you stop us. Don't you know that this is videha's princess carriage.
Mahisha's soldier: we know very well and that's why we stopped you.
All the soldiers starts fighting on their horse. One of the videha soldier comes and informs shambhavi about the same.
Soldier: princess, some soldiers attacked on us, but don't worry we will handle them you just stay here.
Shambhavi: who are these people? And how can you expect me to sit here when our lives are in danger.
She comes out of the carriage but rudra was very far away from her so he wasn't able to see her. Shambhavi starts fighting with the mahisha's soldiers. Shambhavi was a very good princess warriors so she was defeating those soldiers very easily. Rudra saw this and was very surprised to see that princess knows sword fighting. He was watching her fighting with his soldiers. When he saw that all his soldiers are getting defeated by shambhavi then he decides to go there himself. Rudra reaches the spot but wasn't able to see shambhavi's face due to her long hair and her duppatta. Rudra was standing behind her he was about to attack her when all of a sudden shambhavi's duppata with a blow of a wind covered rudra's face. Shambhavi quicky senses that someone is standing behind her. She turns and removes her duppata from rudra's face. Rudra become dumbstruck seeing her beauty. For a moment he was lost in her beauty. Shambhavi was looking at rudra furiously. Rudra was unable to think of anything else at that moment. rudra thought in mind.
Rudra: i have never seen such a beautiful girl in my life.
he can't get enough of her beauty. he was staring at her continuosly. shambhavi's eyes were very pretty but at the same time were full of rage. he was looking at her without even blinking his eyelids
he came back in the real world when shambhavi attacks him. Both started fighting.
Shambhavi: who are you? And why did you came here?
Rudra remains silent.
Shambhavi: I said who are you? Reveal your identity.
Rudra: huh!! What would you do after knowing my identity? try to kill me?
Rudra's sarcasm angers shambhavi and she started fighting with him more rigorously. But rudra was very powerful and a brilliant warrior he was defending himself very cleverly as if he knows where will shambhavi attacks. They stopped for a while.
Rudra: surrender yourself princess and I promise that nothing will happen to you.
Shambhavi(furiously): princess shambhavi never surrender to anyone. You will never be successfull in taking me with you. you have to defeat me in order to take me with you. without my consent you won't even touch me.
Rudra (smirks): we'll see.
Both started fighting more rigorously. They were so engaged in fighting that both didn't realise when they reached the edge of the cliff. The fight was very worth watching and it was almost impossible to tell who'll win. Rudra suddenly realize that they are fighting on the edge of the cliff, but before he could say anything shambhavi leg slipped, rudra tries to catch her hand but in doing the same both fell off from the cliff in the river.
