Rudra and shambhavi (A Moharika FF) update pg 145 - Page 15

Vajramitra and his soldiers arrive at the same place where rudra brought an unconscious shambhavi. They saw some foot marks.

Baldev: maharaj, it looks like they were here. These foot marks are indicating something

Vajramitra: you are right baldev, we should follow these footmarks. That way we can find my son soon.

They starts following the footsteps in the jungle

Mahisha's palace

Sameeksha was sitting sad and was thinking about rudra. Shrijana came there and ask

Shrijana: sameeksha, what happen dear?

Sameeksha: maa, I am thinking about rudra.

Shrijana: I told you he will be fine. King himself has gone to take him then why are you so worried.

Sameeksha: I will be worried maa until I see him. I am waiting for him to come and when he'll come I will tell him how much I love him.

Shrijana: but I don't think rudra feels the same about you.

Sameeksha: how can you be so sure maa? May be he love me but don't wanna tell me. You know his nature. He never express his feelings.

Shrijana: Dear, I will be the happiest person if rudra loves you too but don't keep any false hope because in the end it will be you only who'll get hurt.

Sameeksha: it won't happen maa. I know he'll love me too. But I was thinking why he went there. He is never so desperate for any of his work. What kind of important work brought him there.

Shrijana tried to avoid her questions

Sameeksha (hesitatingly): don't think about that

Sameeksha (suspiciously): maa do you know why rudra went there?

Shrijana doesn't say anything

Sameeksha: plz tell me maa

Shrijana: he went to kidnap videha's princess

Sameeksha becomes stunned hearing this

Sameeksha: what are you saying maa? My rudra can never do anything like this.

Shrijana: it's true dear. He went there to fulfill his revenge and I heard that rudra and princess fell together in the river. They might be together

Sameeskha becomes sad hearing this but doesn't say anything.

Sameeksha: no this can't be. Rudra is only mine and why am i getting restless when I know that the princess is his enemy.

Shrijana becomes worried seeing her daughter like this.

In the forest

One and half days passed but rudra and shambhavi were still in the forest. They don't want to accept it but they were lost in the forest.

Rudra: tell me when are we gonna reach there?

Shambhavi: I don't know

Rudra: you don't know? You were the one who told me that you will find a way to your kuldevi's temple but it looks like you are lost and because of you I am lost. I shouldn't have made that deal with you.

Shambhavi: I am sure we'll find a way out.

Rudra: I am hearing this from past one and half day.

Shambhavi: look I know I was unable to find a way out of this forest but I still half a day left so you have to follow me alright.

Rudra: yeah I know but tomorrow you have to go with me. Remember?

Shambhavi: yes I remember now let's go. And who knows may be my father came here searching for me.

Rudra becomes furious hearing this.

Rudra(furiously): we should go now

Shambhavi: what happen to you?

Rudra: nothing

Shambhavi was watching him suspiciously. Rudra walks off and shambhavi followed him.

Rudra and shambhavi were passing by through a very muddy and slippery place. The place was very slippery and was covered with mud.

Rudra: be careful princess. This place is very slippery.

Shambhavi: I know and I am fine you don't have to worry about me.

Rudra: hold my hand

Shambhavi: no thanks I don't need to hold a stranger's hand and that too a kidnapper.

Rudra gave her a stern look.

Shambhavi: what? I am telling the truth

Shambhavi was walking very carefully and about to slip but then she holds rudra's hand

Rudra: what did I tell you? Hold my hand and walk but you and stubbornness

Shambhavi: no I am fine I didn't mean to hold your hand. It was just

Rudra: it's ok princess there is nothing wrong in accepting that you need my help

Shambhavi become furious

Shambhavi: huhh! I won't take your help even if you are the last person in this forest.

After saying this she walks off in a huff but suddenly she fell in the dig with mud.

Rudra: are you ok princess?

Shambhavi gets up slowly and her face and clothes was covered with full of mud. Rudra burst out laughing seeing her.

PS: after his mother's death this is the first time rudra laughed so openly and that too because of shambhavi

Rudra was still laughing seeing her. He tried hard to control his laughter but no use.

Shambhavi (furiously): why are you laughing this is not funny.

Rudra: I am so sorry princess but seeing you like this I couldn't control my laugh

Shambhavi: stop laughing or else

Rudra: ok ok fine.

He stopped his laugh for a moment but then again started laughing. Shambhavi cleans her face with her duppata but her face was not cleared properly coz her duppata was also dirty.

Shambhavi: you are such a disgusting person. A girl fell and you are laughing. Is that what your parents taught you?

Rudra: alright I will stop laughing but if you ask me you are looking much better now.

Saying this he started laughing again and shambhavi leave from there in anger. Its evening and both were still in the forest

Rudra: looks like it will rain.

Shambhavi: you are right. We should search for some place to stay.

Rudra: alright lets search for a place.

After searching for a while they found a big and dense tree. They decided to take shelter under the tree.

Rudra: we should wait here. I don't think there is much better place to stay right now other than this.

Shambhavi: you are right. We should stay here.

Suddenly it started raining. Shambhavi always loved rain and when it started raining she couldn't control herself and started getting drenched in the rain.

Rudra: what are you doing princess? Stay here or else you will get sick

Shambhavi didn't listen to him and was enjoying the rain. The rain cleared up her face and clothes. She was looking very beautiful playing and enjoying in the rain. Rudra was mesmerized seeing her beauty. He was looking at her completely mesmerized. Rain was adding more charm in her beauty. She was playing with water droplets when suddenly she realized that rudra is watching her. She stopped immediately and goes under the tree. rudra was still watching her.

Shambhavi: why are you looking at me like this?

Rudra didn't answer. He was just looking at her

Shambhavi: rudra? Are you listening to me?

Rudra was still looking at her. Then shambhavi pinches him. Rudra came back in his senses.

Rudra:why did you do that?

Shambhavi: why were you not answering me?

Rudra(embarrassed): I was just.

Shambhavi: its ok you don't need to say anything.

Both started looking in different sides to avoid each other. Suddenly lightning strikes and shambhavi gets little scared.

Rudra: princess ,are you afraid of lightening?

Shambhavi(hesitatingly): no not at all.

Rudra(amused): its strange that a warrior princess is afraid of lightning?

Shambhavi: no I am not afraid of lightning

Rudra: your face is telling everything princess. You don't need to lie.

Shambhavi turned towards other side to avoid rudra. Suddenly strikes very hard and shambhavi gets scared.

Rudra: are you ok princess?

Shambhavi gets scared hugs him tightly. Rudra was surprised. He didn't say anything. Shambhavi was still holding him tightly with closed eyes. Rudra felt a little awkward but didn't say anything. He wanted to say something but couldn't. shambhavi eyes were still closed. She didn't even realize in her fear that she hugged him and is holding him. Finally rudra said.

Rudra: princess?

Shmabhavi was still holding him with closed eyes

Rudra: ahem ahem princess? Everything is fine now

Shambhavi opens her eyes and realized that she is holding rudra. She quickly gets away from him. Both were feeling awkward and trying to avoid each other.

Shambhavi: I am sorry; I didn't mean to do anything like this.

Rudra: its ok princess. I didn't mind

Shambhavi: it's still raining and it's almost dark. Its better that we should stay here tonight.

Rudra: you are right. We should stay here.

Rudra gave her some apples. Shambhavi eats the apples. Rudra too eats some apples.They were silent no one was talking to each other. Shambhavi was still embarrassed. She wasn't even looking at him. Rudra was looking at her silently. Shambhavi was feeling sleepy rudra was looking at her. She was trying hard to open her eyes but she unable to keep her eyes open. After sometime she falls asleep and is about to fall just then rudra came and holds her head and keep it on his shoulder. Shambhavi falls asleep resting her head on rudra's shoulder. But rudra was awake. he was still looking at shambhavi.

Rudra: tomorrow you have to go with me. Your two days are over and I'll make sure that within another two days I'll find a way out of this forest and take you to mahisha with me.

Rudra too falls asleep.
