You have done far more justice at explaining the skittles going through Khushis mind at this point in the show than what the writers wrote and directors presented, RB! Most of us had anticipated the MU to surface between these two out in a different way, a different setting, and dealt with much more sensitivity (minus any comic).This was by far probably the worst scenes and phase of IPKKND. Who exactly makes suicide a joke, and then like you said the transition to her telling him to find happiness in La, and him FINALLY revealing why he married her. (Took good 4 months!)...While Kyun Dard Hain Itna rang in the back, I had expected some sort of redemption track to come about...but the noncholance and indifference Khushi shows in the following scene, along with Arnav running off to Scotland-Some Delhi Adda really discontinued and ruined the essence of this love story for me. The mess that follows after this...I wouldnt want to go re-visit that...This could have been one of the highest peaks for the show if it was handled with far more sensitivity, creativity, and truly exploring the side of angst that these characters were capable of. RB, Thank you for shedding some light to this scene, and explaning the workings behind it...especially, 'Risk of Survival'...If you look back at it, especially the antics behind 'how to suicide and yet, not to completely' You can easily see it in Khushis goodbyes and walking on top of the parameter...Oh god. Lol! What were the writers upto?

When I saw this scene in the show it felt like total comedy to me and we laughed a lot but when u wrote it, it had more sense. No comic factor at all. Well done

I love your take on the scene. I actually found this to be a new low for the show because they trivialized something as agonizing as taking one's life.

RB, i like your version of the suicidal scene than the comical tragedy the show made it. Though the scene itself was theatrical comical, when you interpreted it from Kushi's POV it made more sense and was more poignant. But alas, there is a limit to which you can uplift a scene when the scene itself give you no room for it.
