Raj was married to urmila but was kept under wraps and due to situation he got married to sonali and urmila selfless love for her husband and friend left from their life taking vow from Raj to give wifey rights to urmila. Urmila and her kids Geet and Yash were living wretched life and were facing society's burns. On other hand Drashti was living a life filled with luxury and being brat didn't respect money or other's thoughts .maan was in love with Drashti but she didn't reciprocate his love . With time Drashti lost her life due to twist and turns that took place in her life and maan's love for her was unrequited. Raj and urmila's death turned everyone's life wretched. Sonali got to know truth abt urmila and her husband , she blamed thyself for playing gooseberry in their life but whole heartily welcomed Geet. Geet being shattered soul had to face burns of savitri who is unknown to urmila's sacrifice held urmila responsible for ruining her daughter's life. Geet had to face burns of other evil people in her life vowing to her past status and she thyself felt that she didn't fit the bill of being Handa s daughter. With time and place Geet fell in love with Maan for his caring and affectionate demeanor towards her but the people around her remains Geet abt her true self. Amid every chaos geet and Yash never took advantage of being Handa and never claimed their right vowing to the camaraderie they shared with Raj and kept their morales before everything .

Really felt sad for Geet whilst she was facing so many taunts and troubles in her life. Desperately want geet to persuade her aim to become doctor .
