I'm going to be changing some things when it comes to the characters, but they're very minor changes, so no worries.
Character Sketch:
Taanisha Ambolkar aka Taani (Vrinda Dawda):
Sweet, bubbly and weird on the outside, but strong and mature on the inside. Oh, and try and stand clear of her when she gets angry. She can kind of bite your head off.
Her best-friends who she knows she can always count on are Anya, Aliya, Saara, Arjun and Varun. Frenemies with Karan, who makes her want to tear her hair out, yet laugh at the same time.
She has many nicknames. For instance, her brothers call her "Princess." Her best-friend Varun calls her "Jhansi ki Rani." And Karan being the irritating yet sweet idiot he is, calls her "Wicked Witch of the East." Aliya being a weirdo calls her "Ish." Arjun calls her "Popstar," a name only a certain guy has ever called her. Everyone else basically just calls her "Tans."
She may be an all-rounder, but music is her passion. Coming to her passion, she can sing, can play many instruments (guitar, flute and piano to name a few) and she can compose. She's also very good at basketball (nationally ranked), and enjoys playing sports. She's also a fast learner and picks up on things quite fast. She also enjoys cooking, event-planning, rollerblading, and ice-skating. She's also a perfectionist.
In this story, Taani didn't come because she has a crush on Rey. She came to get away from her past life. So there was no rejection or anything. But she did lie to join the team because she just wanted to help her brother and his friends.
Also, she always wears her mom's charm bracelet, as it helps her feel close to her mom.
Tanushree Ambolkar aka T (Vrinda Dawda):
Spoiled brat with a heart of gold. She lives and breathes dance! She knows hip-hop, contemporary, all forms of classical, Bollywood, belly-dancing, most forms of ballroom and many more that I can't think of.
She's best-friends with Aliya and Anya. She despises Saara and Arjun, who always pick fights with her. She's also frenemies with Karan as he usually supports Saara and Arjun. She also tends to fight a lot with Swayam.
Like her sister, she also has a lot of nicknames. Yuvraj calls her "Coconut," because apparently ALiya has rubbed off on him. Swayam and Arjun call her "Ice Princess," although she finds it more affectionate when Arjun calls her this. Karan calls her "Wicked Witch of the West," because he's an ass. Saara calls her "Cruella," because she thinks that it's fitting. Anya calls her "Maleficent." Varun calls her "Ree," because he shares the same DNA as Aliya. And Aliya calls her "Ush," because as we've established so far, she's a weirdo. Taani is the only one that can call her "Shree." If anyone else calls her that, her inner Jwalamukhi will come out.
She's started to fall in love with Arjun, but she just doesn't realise it yet.
She always wears her silver necklace with a diamond T on it.
Yuvraj Ambolkar aka Yuvi (Varun Dhawan):
The hero. He's extremely multi-talented! He can cook, play soccer, dance and act. He can be a bit of a flirt, but respects girls and will beat up any guy who tries to misbehave with a girl.
Very possessive of his little sisters Taani and T. He's best-friends with Aliya, Varun, Arjun and Karan.
Aliya calls him "Superero," or just simply, "Hero." Sometimes, to annoy him, Taani calls him "Superman," T calls him "Batman," and Swayam calls him "Spiderman." The other guys call him "Spidey," to irritate him.
He misses Aliya a lot, more than everyone else does.
Swayam Shekhawat (Shantanu Maheshwari):
He was disowned by his father, and although everyone in his family was against this, he left, assuring them that he'd come back soon.
He's best-friends with Aliya, Saara, Arjun and Karan. He fights a lot with T.
Arjun calls him "Shakespeare." Aliya calls him "Romeo." Taani and Saara call him "Mr. Majnu." T calls him "Goldilocks."
Aliya Mittal aka Al (Alia Bhatt):
Sweet, bubbly and childish.
Although some people would expect her to want to become an actress due to her filmy nature and love for acting, she'd rather just stay behind the scenes. She's a film student, and is trying to improve her writing skills.
She went to the London School of Film, and hasn't seen any of her friends in a long time. She could've always stayed in India, but her mom messed with her form, and also tricked her into staying there. But despite all that, she still kind of misses her mom.
She's best-friends with the twins, Anya, Saara, Swayam, Yuvraj and Karan. Frenemies with Arjun.
Varun, Swayam, Karan, Anya and Anu di call her "Angel." Yuvi calls her "Weirdo." Arjun calls her "Angel with Horns," or "Devil with a Halo." The twins call her "Li." But everyone either calls her "Al," or "Aloo."
Misses Yuvi the most out of all her friends.
She has a white Persian cat named "Baby Angel" who she got from Varun.
Varun Mittal (Yuvraj Thakur):
Law student, extremely intelligent, loves music (he sings and plays guitar), big time Casanova.
Loves his sisters more than anything in the world... Hm, maybe not anything.
Best-friends with Taani, Anya and Yuvi. Frenemies with Saara, Arjun and Karan.
Saara's the only one with a nickname for him. She calls him "Jerk," "Megajerk," "Jerkface," "Heartbreak," and "Casanova." Well, Taani does call him "Rockstar..."
Anya Gujral (Sana Saeed):
Sweet, but has attitude running through her veins instead of O- blood.
Sharon's favorite cousin. Best-friends with Taani, Aliya, T and Varun. Frenemies with Saara. Hates Rey with a passion.
Saara calls her "Barbie." Arjun and Karan call her "Superstar." T calls her "Evil Queen." Rey calls her "Witch."
As you all know she's Anya Gujral the Superstar meaning she sings, plays piano, plays guitar and she's not too bad at composing. She can also dance, swim, play tennis, ride horses and act (inspired by Aliya). She's also always loved photography, but never got the chance to really perfect that talent. She's also very persuasive, a long-distance runner, and has a photographic memory.
But her mom made her quit everything she loves to make time for singing. Her mom wants Anya Gujral the Popstar, but will the real Anya, the fearless Anya who got kicked out of one of the most prestigious boarding schools in Mumbai, and has two pet snakes named Archie and Alisha, and who is definitely not afraid to speak her mind, or defend her friends, please stop trying to please others?
Always wears a necklace which is similar to T's, but has a diamond A.
Saara Dutta (Mohena Singh):
Fearless tomboy with a passion for dance. She can also surf, snowboard, and rock-climb. She's a horrible cook, and she also has a photographic memory.
She thinks that her parents only love her brother (Shivam) but in fact, they love her too but just don't show it that much because of her rebellious behavior. Her parents want her to join the family business but she has no interest in meetings or presentations. She loves her brother a lot but that might change after she finds out what he did...
She's also best-friends with Taani, Aliya, Swayam and Karan. Frenemies with Anya, T and Varun.
Varun calls her "Rapunzel," to remind her of the long hair she used to have. Aliya calls her "Cherry," Yuvi calls her "Tomato." Shivam calls her "Little Rebel," or "Little Troublemaker." Anya and T call her "Kool-Aid." Karan calls her "Rudolph."
Loves Karan, but that idiot has never noticed. Well, he better notice soon...
Arjun Khurana (Vishal Gandhi):
Angry young man. Only T and Karan know that his parents passed away. And the fact that his little sister wants nothing to do with him (maybe he'll find a new one in Aliya).
He's best-friends with Taani, Yuvi, Swayam and Karan. Frenemies with Aliya, T and Varun. Loves Taani, but after being around T for so long, he's started to feel something for her.
T calls him "Edward Cullen." Aliya calls him "Broody Brock," and "Peter Pessimist." Taani calls him "Hulk."
Karan Singh Rathore (Karan Wahi):
With his charming personality, you can't help but like him. Well, Taani can.
He comes from a rich family but is not at all stuck-up.
Best-friends with Aliya, Saara, Yuvi, Swayam and Arjun. Frenemies with Taani, T and Varun. He's a total flirt, but has decreased his amount of flirting recently. Maybe a certain girl has caught his eye...
Aliya calls him "Prince Charming." The guys all call him "Golden Boy" to tease him.
Vishaka Mehta (Vinti Idnani):
Ever wonder why she's so cold with Taani? Well now you can find out.
Shivam and Varun both call her "Sunshine."
She's Sahil's little sister and Kriya's cousin.
She will be a SEMI-antagonist.
Sahil Mehta (yes, his name was Sahil even before he entered QH as Aahil):
A disgrace to humanity.
Hated by Taani and her gang for something he did which (unknown to them) Vishaka, Shivam and Kriya (along with Varun and Aliya's sister, Anu) were a part of.
Vishaka's older brother, and Kriya's cousin.
Our main villain.
He will enter St.Louis as a teacher.
Shivam Dutta (Lavin Gothi):
Loves his sister Saara and is quite protective of her.
Vishaka and Kriya and call him "Loner."
Helped Sahil with something he's very guilty about.
SEMI-antagonist.
Kriya Ghai (Shakti Mohan):
Vishaka and Sahil's cousin.
Shivam calls her "Tinkerbell."
Helped Sahil with something she's very guilty about.
SEMI-antagonist.
Anu Mittal (Shikha Singh):
Varun and Aliya's big sister.
Sahil's ex-fiance who helped Sahil with something she's very guilty about.
Raghav Malhotra (Neil Motwani; think back to Yeh Hai Mohabbatein & Kumkum Bhagya, those of you who actually watch those shows, and remember the lawyer and the corporator):
New guidance counsellor at St.Louis.
Acts as cupid.
Irritates Anu to a point where she get really close to RUNNING away to the Bermuda Triangle.
And just to be clear, Sharon is played by Vrushika Mehta.
Also, Yuvraj is 15 minutes older than Taani, and two minutes older T.
And Varun is 7 minutes older than Aliya.
Also, Swayam and Sharon are currently fighting.
Vicky and Neha are dating, and so are Amar and Rinni. So that's why they're not that big of a part of this story, but they're not background characters either.
And just to be clear, Simmi has a crush on Nil, but Nil's super clueless.
Also, Bharat and Vishaka are shy with their feelings and are friendzoning each other.
