Tomorrow can't come fast enough and I can't believe I'm saying this when I have another presentation deadline to meet!!! That is not fair at all -_-

OK, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but whatever it was, the dialogue between the two of them turned out a lot more effective and impactful than anticipated. I loved the undercurrent of anticipation and apprehension beneath the nonchalance of both characters - the girl (who, from the vivid description you've given of her I'm pretty sure is Khushi now :D ) is hoarding a gangster at home and just offered him tea. Said gangster also takes it in his stride, instead of the cliche 'holding gun to your head demanding to know why you helped me' bit - and the conversation shared over the tea has got to be one of the most laden I've read, even though so little is revealed. It pitches the suspense and maintains it, and even I hesitated as she tells him to leave - the contrast between what they're talking about and how they are talking about it, the way he acts familiar enough to edge her out of the way and take over the tea-brewing, the whole act of familiarity, in fact, between two complete strangers and the litany of things left unsaid or hinted at - I'm dying to know what happens next

I liked how she clarified that she did not let him in, but brought him in herself - i.e. she is apni marzi ki malkin

And I also liked how he asked such a serious question with covered with slight humour - did she fear his getting hurt, or the police?

I am very, very intrigued now, unhealthily so, and you've not helped with the cliffy at the end. My brain is going to run out of fuel at the rate it's trying to figure out just what circumstances they'll meet under - though must say there's a dose of dread too, because despite her subtle but telling reactions to him and his attraction to her...there's still so much to them both I don't know

I think its better that you dont remember the movie word to word so that you can give the story your special touch.
