Fantastic update.

Feel sad for both Arnab and Khushi.

Hope he will not do any thing stupid out of frustration. He is a man of principles and how can he do some thing which will completely against his principles?

Jenny ..the poem in the beginning of the story is beautiful...

Another story by you set in a different era of time and yet scenes are so true to the times that one feels that you have first hand knowledge about it...

The sense of patriotism, unrest and the want to do something for the country which prevailed in a select set of population is truly portrayed by Arnab's thoughts... His being different to his father and the typical zamindars of his time will be tested with the times to come... His views about child marriage and his guilt of being a participant in it came across clearly.

How cleverly you show passage of time and the changes which are occurring in Khusi and Arnab being aware of them... He is trying to save the child in Khusi from the hot blooded male that he is and that being the reason he is in the area frequented by his father for the first time now will wait for the update to see if he actually goes through it or not...

Also the characters of Thammi and his mother are so true to women of that time that I can imagine little Khusi wearing a sari - Bengali style trying to work in the kitchen...
