Arnab's frustration at not being able to be a part of the revolution in the fullest sense and the added truth that a lot of who he was so far was because of all that he despised. The wealth, the name, the prestige of the Mallick name that came from the very establishment that he was trying to fight against!
They often say that a woman is always another woman's worst enemy - probably true!
In a provincial, native female cunning, Aparna may have tried to consummate Arnab & Khushi's marriage not because she feels its time but because she feels the best way to hold on to a man is through the sexual viles and allure of a woman. Instead she ended up triggering what looks like is going to become a habit.
Or perhaps, reflective of those times, Aparna doesnt really see any harm in Arnab frequently those places much like her husband did. A "shauk" of the rich and famous!
But Khushi is not Aparna and now that she has decided that she needs to become a woman, I'd like to se how Arnab handles her.
But my heart cries for her loss of innocence, and, Arnab, despite having sworn to protect her innocence has been instrumental in starting the dismantling of the same.. heartbreaking...
