So Arnab is slowly noticing her changes.

And he is also annoyed of his brother's easy friendship with her.

Constant reminder of his age gap.

The father and him. It's true that with the influence they have, Arnab got away. Can't wait to know how he is going to be independent from his father's shadows.

The incident might eventually lead khushi to grow up. Love her attitude.

Last part, not surprised about it cos of the time period. But hoping that he will change his mind, since he is different from the rest.

Omg, Arnab went to harlot!

This is a very sensitive and mature story you are writing.

Arnab is a very sensible guy. His thought is modern, not like others of that time. First of all he couldn't accept his child bride. when their family pushed him to have physical relationship with a 14 year old kid, he became more frustrated. Moreover he was already upset with his father. The ethical and moral differences with his family made him frantic.

On the other hand Khushi is still in her childhood. But her in laws are coercing her to grow big. She likes Arnab as her husband, but she doesn't even know what is the meaning or duty of a wife. she is more attached to Pranab, who is her age. Though she has been growing physically, but she is still a child mentally.

Your depiction of the atmosphere and the surrounding and also the life style of that time is brilliant.

And you are always superb narrating the various emotions of the characters.

The end was shocking...
I hope he don't go that path but now i am sure why it often happen during that period, ofcourse they were married to a child unknown to any of wifey feeling as Arnav pointed out to khushi, its perfectly normal of him to get attracted to her but his rational mind counter him on that and there he found bizarre alternative to distract himself.
Father son differences were perfectly written... the way his father played all beacause-of-me on him was really rude, it was too much of frustration for him to borne.
Khushi is too naive for her own good the check was needed may be, her asking thammi of how to become woman says it.
women and their statergies to bind men, loved the way you wrote thammi and his mom thinking about khushi to distract their boy.
