Being a bong myself. Heard a lot of child marriage stories of my own family. My mum's aunt got married at the age 4 to a man of 34 and become widowed when she was 13 yrs old.
Child Marriage has destroyed life of lots and lots of young girls and boys and surprisingly part is after so much different laws coming up. Child marriage is still continuing and specially in Rajasthan.
(As she sobbed miserably, wiping her tears on the edge of her pallu, Arnab felt the stirring of platonic, almost big-brotherly protectiveness in his heart for her.)
Arnab is different here and hardly people used to think this way. I loved his feeling for Khushi as a brother because it has to be. How can an educated person like Arnav think such a small Khushi as his wife. For him it's totally unacceptable.
(Arnav chuckled looking at her retreating back. A sudden thought came to him, causing a reflective expression to gradually appear on his countenance.
In returning her doll back to her, he will be taking up the responsibility of keeping her childhood safe...
"From himself".)
I just fell in love with this part when Arnav said he need to save Khushi's childhood from him. I wish all the husband's of that time has thought something like this but they never as much as I know and they used to jump as wild animal on that lil kids of 12, 13, 14 and 15.
I am loving this story a lot. Jenny Please don't end it within 3-4 chaps just make it 6-7. I know writers have always their limitations. So I will never say like dumb to continue on an on just increase few chaps more. Please
Nice story. Keep with the good work👏👏
