Despite the fact that many policies and programmes are implemented to stop early marriage, the practice is still performing worldwide. Strict implementation and punishment can only stop this. Girl children are still considering as economic burden in many places. Proper education and equal rights can help to become these early-married adolescents to become very good contributors to the society...

2 years ago.i have done research on this topic and the results was shocking..
all the kids were forced in to this system..and after the marriage they were expected to behave like a married woman..they have to leave their childhood, their innocence and most of them will be pregnant in the next year.the health conditions of these married children is pathetic...
i'm glad that you are writing such a sensitive topic...good work jenny

Loved the innocence and depth of your story. You really do know how to capture the essence of the eras you write of with such clarity and sophistication. Loving the tale already. x

I must applaud your characterization of little Khushi.. you have captured her innocence, her naivety, her fears, her anxiousness so well... my heart goes out to her and all those little girls who are not allowed a childhood. I cried a little with her when she thought her "Arnab ji" doesn't like her.

Though she has quite the tyrant for a mother-in-law, I am glad she has Thamma who at least treats her like the young little girl that she is. Arnav wants to do so much for his country.. well as they say charity begins at home. He has a chance to give Khushi the childhood she deserves.. full of love and games and dreams and dolls... free of worries and responsibilities.

I am really curious to know what happens now. How Arnab chooses to deal with this. Beautiful update Jenny :)

Wow...this is such a poignant and thought provoking story. Loved the naughty imp Khushi and Thami's introductory encounter and I love Thami.

I am on board to watch how Kushi's childhood is chnaged by Arnab.

I have no idea about the authenticity of your story in terms of culture, but you have definitely imbued the story with a periodic shade ...it is very obvious that we are reading about a whole different time period.

Hey, I loved this update... Liked how Thami looks after Khushi. I am sure Arnab will soon be her friend. Good thing is he wants to protect her childhood and innocence. Arnab's mom is little strict with Khushi. But that will bring Arnab and Khushi closer. I hope they have more interactions in coming chapters. Continue soon...
