Jen ...you have written on such a sensitive topic with such responsibility I am amazed.

I have always loved your writing style because you can portray all various emotions with such ease and without being preachy about the same.

My heart goes out to this little Khushi ...Arnab in this story is aware of the injustice meeted out to this little girl so i see hope for her but in reality i know its a rare occurence.

Arnab's mom obviously is least interested in the child but more interested in making her the proper wife for her son.. urrggh thinking about her makes me want to strangle her with my hands ...stupid woman took away her doll !

Atleast Thami is there for Khushi !

very beautifully written chapter.

child marriage is a crime. Arnab never did support child marriage. But unfortunately he had to do that also. Thereby he never could be friendly with Khushi or couldn't accept her as his wife. She was just a child to him.

On the other hand Khushi who lost her whole family didn't have any choice left, but had to come to her husband's house.Now her husband is her world. When Thami took away her precious doll, she couldn't find any other way, but to come to arnab. When she got his assurance, she became obliged to him. how innocent she is! She doesn't even know the relationship of husband and wife.

khushi is child like...very much unaware of the outer world..

where arnav s exposed to how life is...

its sad his parents don t understand him...

felt really bad seeing khushi cry for her doll n said that it was the only thing left...

thami is really sweet...

he s gonna protect her and her child like innocence

Wonderful work Jenny, you have taken a very important issue of child marriage and writing this amazing story, The way you have showed Khushi's innocence like a kid of her age will have, is really commendable. So sad to see that she is loosing her childhood without any fault of hers, eagerly waiting to see how Arnav will be helping her. Prefect concept and beautiful write up make this story super duper amazing, awesome work 👏
