Hey guys!! So everyone knows me so skip the intro parts 😛
Here's a TaaRey OS I've been planning for over a month now. Like 'The Return OS' this 'Savior OS' will ALSO serve as a teaser to Guzarish [D3 Revisited]
Note: All my readers, DO NOT judge! If you truly are my reader and Guzarish lover, then I strongly suggest you READ this OS! And yes, if you know me right, you WON'T throw anything at me 😆
You know I love to do such things 😆 Besides, I'd been saying in notes from some time now that Taani will be given importance. So don't fret and read on! I want LOADS of comments and meaningful one's too! What/why do you think I wrote this OS? 😉
If any new readers wants to read Guzarish: #7 Guzarish [D3 Revisited]

Savior
"Let go of me!" Taani's voice echoed in the empty parking lot but alas, no one was around to hear it. It was late in the night and she could only blame herself for staying late in the college. She should have known. She reminded herself. Now is not the time to blame yourself Taani. If you don't do anything now, there won't be a moment to regret later on.
He twisted Taani's hand to twirl her around and his other free hand covered her mouth. He knew no one was around to hear her please but he wasn't taking any chances. Not this time around. He had to teach them all a lesson and he was determined to.
In his hold, she struggled to go free. She tried to move his hand away but his strength overpowered her. Out of nowhere, a voice from behind threatened.
"Let her go."
She knew that voice very well.
Rey!
Even though she was in the arms of danger, a smile came to her face, knowing everything will be fine now. Shivam turned to face him angrily, pulling Taani with him and putting her between the two as a shield.
"Sochna na mat." He threatened back. "Go away."
"Hah. Not even in your dreams." Rey shot back.
It simply angered Shivam more. Rey took steps closer to them. He kept on going back, threatening Rey to hurt Taani, but he didn't care. Because he knew Shivam did not have the guts to hurt Taani. It was all just a bluff.
Suddenly, while he continued to back away from Rey, he slammed into something; or rather, someone. He flinched away to look at Swayam.
He cursed his destiny while both Rey and Swayam held victorious smile.
"Just great!" He murmured, cursing his destiny.
"Let her go Shivam. You're already out numbered." Swayam warned him.
Reluctantly, he did. She went to Swayam, going free from his hold and stood behind him. Swayam kept his protective hands around her in an effort to console her. Then, making her stand far away from Shivam, both him and Rey closed up on Shivam.
Rey held him by his collar. "You've done it this time. Kaha tha sab se door rehna. Lagta hai ek baat kahi hui baat dimaag mei nai jaati?"
Shivam pushed Rey's hold again. "Tum mujhe jaante nai ho." He said in a way to once again scare them off. But when would he learn?
Swayam pulled Rey back to calm him before he hit Shivam.
"Go. Go while you have the chance. And if you ever trouble Taani or anyone else just to harm us, that'll be the end of your life. And this is not an empty threat. Mark my words."
Shivam gave one long, nasty look to Rey and Swayam and finally turned away and disappeared when he knew there was no chance for him that night.
"Are you okay?" Rey turned to Taani.
Slowly, trying to hide her shivers, she nodded. But Rey noticed. He wrapped his jacket around her and she looked up at him, a look of acknowledgement and gratitude.
Swayam said, "I'll go get the car." Both Rey and Taani nodded. He left.
She asked, "What- what are you doing here so late?"
"I was leaving with other's too when I noticed Shivam stay back." It was all Rey said. But she could point out the hidden meaning behind it. The meaning that he was concerned for her and that Shivam might be up to something. Therefore, he had to make sure she got home safely.
"Thank you." she said to him for the umpteenth time. It was a word she often said to him. But yet, it never seemed to grow old between them.
Moments of silence passed when she summed questioned, "What was Swayam doing here?"
"Oh that." he trailed away, not knowing what to tell him. He knew Swayam wouldn't want his private life to be told to anyone. What was he supposed to tell Taani? That Swayam and Sharon were on a date and he had ended up catching them as he hid from Taani?
Luckily for him, Swayam brought the car then. "See you tomorrow." He told her instead and opened the front door for her. Once she was seated, he closed the door and looked at Swayam, both passing a knowing look. Rey nodded and Swayam smiled in gratitude.
Once they left, Rey went back to the rehearsal room to get Sharon. He dropped her home and retired to his home for the night.
In his room, he held the basketball in his hands, twirling it around and thinking of the day's events. The thoughts of Taani and worry for her wouldn't leave him be.
-Flash back-
Coming down the stairs in the atrium, he noticed the way Shivam was looking at Taani. He walked over to Taani just to block Shivam's view. He had warned Taani of Shivam before but she kept on thinking Shivam had changed and so wouldn't listen to any of them. Therefore, it came down to him to look over her. He just felt the need to.
"Stay away from Shivam. He's bad news just waiting to come around." Rey told Taani when they were alone.
Taani got angered and blasted on him. "Leave me be Rey. Let me deal with my life the way I want to. You've babied me till now. Not anymore. And what if anything does happen to me? Why do you care, huh? You've gotten your love back. Be happy in it and let me move on!"
Rey's face flustered and he pulled her back with a jerk when she had turned to leave. "I won't damn it! You knew right from the beginning and still you loved me. I had no idea of that! You can't blame me for that."
She looked right into his eyes. "Can you at least let me be happy by imagining that I can blame it on you?" Then she tried to wiggle away but he wouldn't release her.
"I still care for you! I've always seen a friend in you." he continued his stance out of concern and the anger vanishing.
"Friend." She scoffed. Then she shook her head. "No Rey. The way you confided in me was not that of a friend. But that of a person taking advantage of my nature. But I'm done with it. And I'm done with you Reyansh Singhania. The only reason I'm still here and I still see you every day is because I'm the GS. We're not friends. We're not anything. We're just strangers. So you can stop worrying about me. I won't be a burden to you anymore."
All that she said left him flabbergasted and speechless. He didn't realize when he let go of her and when she turned to leave. Once she was gone, he said out loud.
"And I'm trying to fix that. I'm trying to stop someone else take advantage of your nice nature. Why can't you see that?"
-Flash back Ends-
"I'm really sorry Taani." Rey said to nothingness. "I know my behavior towards you was unacceptable. It might have looked like I took advantage of you just to get Kriya out of my mind. But that wasn't my intention. I do cherish the moments spent with you. I hope one day you can forgive me. And whether you take me as a friend or not, I'll always be your savior."
On the other hand, Taani was in her room. Swayam had told her to go rest because rest was the last thing on her agenda. All she could think of was the harsh words she had said to Rey in the afternoon and how even after that, Rey had helped her. She remembered how even after everything, he was still her savior. He was then and he still was. She knew there couldn't be anything more. It had been made very clear by the past events. And still, no matter how hard she tried to get him out of her thoughts, it was impossible.
Then again, Reyansh Singhania had that effect on every girl. She wasn't the first one. Thinking about her savior, she finally fell asleep, not wanting to worry about the new day. It wouldn't be a new beginning. That she was sure of. But it would be a new change for sure.
-.The End.-
As I said in the beginning of the post, DO read this and not just press like to make me happy. Put aside your frustration on Taani and read because you know the Taani of Guzarish.
Much thanks!
Love,
-Khushi.
