"Sharon, tum yahan?" Swayam asked, shocked and immediately worrying. "Did something happen? Are you alright?"

She nodded, walking up to him hiding her shyness. "I needed to talk to you. face to face."

He waited for her to continue. Gulping, she asked, "Do you still love me?"

Seeing the surprised look on his face, she prayed silently. Please say yes. Please say yes! She heard him clearing his throat.

"Achanak se ye question?" he asked.

"Do you?" she asked, refusing to reply to his question. "After everything? After the way I behave with you, do you still..?"

He took a step closer to her, his voice pleading. "Sharon!" He remained silent for a second. Then he blinked, softly held her cheeks in his palm. Looking her in the eye and holding it firm, he continued. "I will always love you; no matter what. And I know. I know you don't feel the same way. But that won't stop me from loving you."

Tears brewed up in her eyes. "Why? Why are you like this?" He could but only shrug his shoulders at her question. "I'm scared. I'm afraid that I won't be able to ever feel the same way for you." It stole Swayam's breath for a second. "I won't be able to love you with the same intensity. I like you but..."

He shook his head. "Please. Don't say it! Please!" His voice begged. He lightly brought his forehead closer to her, both of them feeling content in the moment and grasping in the beauty of the words, the silence.

Minutes later, Swayam asked, "Say it once more? I need to believe it."

She let out a laugh amidst the flowing tears. She sniffed before saying, "I like you."

He looked at her. "So Ms. Sharon Gaurav Raiprakash, will you go out with me, Swayam Shekhawat and bless his life with your magnificent presence."

She once again laughed and blushed at the same time. Still her face in his palms, she nodded stiffly. "I'd be delighted to." She replied, just as cheekily.

Even when she didn't say anything else, he knew what was troubling her. "I'll change myself. You won't have to feel as if I deserve someone else." He assured her.

She asked innocently, "You'd change for me?"

"I'd do anything for you Sharon!" he replied.

Slowly, she shook her head. "No, you've done a lot for me, not asking for anything in return. For once, let me do something. You stay the way you are. I like you that way only. I need to make myself a better person."

Now, he shook his head. "No you don't; you already are: the one and only."

She smiled at the compliment. "You don't understand. I need to."

He finally said, "I'll make you fall in love with me Sharon."

The next morning, the gang was in the rehearsal room, up to no good. Swayam announced, "So now that Kriya's back, I resign from the captaincy post. It goes back to her."

Kriya objected, "Please... No. Mom did bring me back but I still have promised her I won't dance."

Rey was silently listening from his place, knowing now was not the time for him to speak.

"But you without dance..." Neha objected.

"I know Neha. But a promise is a promise. I won't dance ever again till Mom tells me to. And she gave me my friends... my life back. I can't ask for anything more."

Swayam reluctantly smiled. Kriya turned her head to look at Sharon, wondering how to go about it. Was it the right time to tell her? How would she react? She didn't want Sharon to think wrong. Sharon did after all live with their father for her whole life. She won't just hear anything against him like that.

Rey interrupted her thoughts, VP has called us."

"Everyone?" Sharon asked.

"No.. Just me, you, Swayam and Kriya." he replied. the four nodded, got up and left. The rest got back to the gossips.

In VP's office:

VP said, "So welcome back Kriya."

Kriya smiled. "Thank you sir."

VP turned his attention to Rey, "Have you reached a decision about who the AGS will be?"

Rey nodded. "I was thinking that since Kriya is back, she can just resume her duties. Will save everyone lots of time."

VP nodded. "I was thinking the same." He turned to Kriya. "Kriya, are you alright with that?"

Kriya turned her attention to Rey. "You could have asked me first!" She gritted.

He smirked, "You were hell-bent on ignoring me. And besides, you'll no longer be in the dance team. So I'm sure you can at least handle AGS responsibilities."

Kriya didn't know why Rey was so firm on irritating her. Knowing this wasn't the right place, she turned back to VP and replied stiffly, "Sure sir. I have no problem with it."

"Good then." VP replied and then turned to look at Swayam. "Congratulations on winning the Foot Loose."

"Thank you sir." he replied.

VP continued, "And now, I'd like the CS and ACS to focus on the Charity event coming up in a month. And Rey and Kriya, you are to help them in any way they need being GS and AGS."

Everyone replied together, "Yes sir."

"That's all. You may carry on now."

After exiting the VP's office, Rey said, "Sharon, why don't you tell Taani to help? She's been helping you lately. And Kriya just got back. I'm sure she's forgotten things."

Kriya fumed. "I haven't forgotten anything!! That's your problem. And please, no one can do a better job than me."

"Jealous?" Rey instigated.

"Grr! I don't need to be jealous of anyone Reyansh Singhania." Kriya replied back.

Swayam and Sharon tried their best to hide their smirks. Rey continued his job. "Oh yea, I forgot. Why would you be jealous?" He walked over to Swayam and kept his hand around his shoulder.

"You know Swayam, I was thinking... Taani and I are good friends. We get along quite well too, unlike someone here." He said indirectly pointing at Kriya. Kriya was silently listening while still fuming. "We'd make a great couple, no?"

Kriya's mouth gaped open. How dare he?!! "Khabardar." she threatened turning around. "Aisa socha bhi toh mujse bura koi nai hoga."

"Kyu? Why do you care?" Rey asked back.

She shrugged. "I don't. I'm just thinking about poor Taani and what she'll have to bear." She pouted making a sad, sympathetic face for Taani.

It was now Rey's turn to gap. Is she for real?! "Kaisi girl friend ho tum? Your boyfriend is talking in front of you to propose someone else and you're letting him?!" He asked, shocked.

She grinned as she had figured it out. "You're just acting. I know you'd never even think about it even in your imaginations." She replied back calmly.

All three were taken aback in a state of awe. Rey, though, felt a bit guilty. That perk would never completely leave him. "How can you still trust me?" He asked out loud without even realizing it.

She was taken aback at the sudden question. still, she answered. "Because I know you. Because I still hold your heart, right here." She pointed towards her heart. "Because I know, no matter what the misunderstanding, you'll always love me the same way I love you. No matter how hurt I am by your actions, it'll always be there in my conscious."

Rey was mesmerized by the answer, and not able to hold himself back, forgetting all the acting he was to do, he took her in a giant, tight hug. "I'm sorry." he kept on repeating. Kriya smiled, hugging him back, for finally she had everything that truly belonged to her.

Seeing them, Swayam and Sharon looked at each other. After their confession yesterday, they will still working their way around the awkwardness that remained silently. Seeing the trust Kriya had for Rey, Sharon knew she had to build upon that same thing.

Swayam blinked in assurance, in a way to let her know that they'll work it all out.
