that was just awesome.

everyone has its own ways of dealing with pain and loss, some do it silently while others do it in anger!

im so loving this arnav, he came everyday to check on, he kept his promise to always stand by her and always be there for her no matter the consequences or the situation! every girl deserves a husband like him:)

n little jay is truly very smart and mature for his tender age!

While reading the part about Khushi crying in the rain, Bruno Mars' It Will Rain was playing in my head. Had it not been for Jay, I would have thought she was hallucinating. You have created such a wonderful and heartbreaking character in Jay, when he asks her has her husband abused her, and then finally asked if she loved him. It's interesting that even at such a tender age he realizes that respect comes first and foremost, all othe problems are negligible if there's love. I loved it K, just as I love all your works- truly, madly, deeply :P

Kalyaani! :)

Sorry I'm like.. A day late, but yesterday was crazy enough without IF.

Loved the OS! Love the premise.. We should all do this, like Khushi. No, not leaving off our Arnavs wherever and running away. We should all do some farm work for a change. Live in tiled farmhouse with a Tulsi plant right in the centre, which we worship everyday, of course, with our wet hair wrapped in a white cotton towel, while we ourselves are dressed in elegant starched cotton sarees. :D

Yea, quite a picture!

Anyway, coming back to the OS, I love this little JayP! 'Don't you love him, Memsaab?' Aww! No bachche, I love you! :D

And the end. I do. Aha! I do too, K. I do too! Like your OS, that is..

Lovely story! :)

A lovely OS!

The write up was wonderful as always but the banner has to be mentioned as well. Four lines...but they give wisdom equivalent to years of experience.😊

The build up was excellent as well; it had me thinking what could have happened that might have led to Khushi leaving her lucrative job for what she was currently doing now. And then the glimpses of their past that had her come to this point in her life...

I also loved Jay's questions; simple minded that he is, his questions justified what actually could be responsible for dissension.

And then the Arnav who has been looking out for her for the past fourteen months...simply stirring!

Aur kya bolun? Loved it dammit!😃

It's raining everywhere, in so many of my favourites' stories, and I love it! =)

This was incredibly touching, poignant and heartfelt!
In all its brevity and lovely, pearly imagery, this one shot managed to make me tear up a little.

Khushi's pain, her escapist attitude, little Jay's intelligence and immediate perception of the crux of the matter and Arnav's all-encompassing, overpowering love-- every feeling came out so beautifully!

And really, giving love a chance is all that's important at the end of the day!
Thank you for writing this beautiful tale Kalyaani, and taking me to a world of misty dreams and rustic peace, where pain exists but is healed by love.
